“Theresa was wonderful! It was our first time leaving our puppy for vacation but she made us feel at ease and kept us very updated. She sent pictures of him and let us know everything that was going on. She is a very kind and caring person and I know our puppy got lots of love while he was there. I would definitely recommend Theresa!”

“Tanya was a godsend when it came to watching Butters our Border Collie puppy after a few surgeries leaving us unable to give him the best care. Our original sitter fell through and Tanya was able to squeeze in a meet and greet to make sure it all worked out for us. She provided updates and pictures that made me feel so much better about leaving him for a week. Tanya and her family truly took care of Butters as if he was their own family pet. She will be my go to in the event of needing boarding again and I can’t thank her enough for the care she gave our pup in our absence. She washed his blanket and sweater before sending him home and even made the cutest ornament of him for our tree. The little touches really make a difference. ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“I feel like we have found a diamond in the rough. Jacqueline, Kris and Bella are so kind and truly are dog lovers. We received updates with pictures during Piper's stay. Their fenced in yard was perfect for Piper to run and sniff. Cannot say enough positive remarks regarding the excellent care Piper received. We highly recommend Jacqueline's family for daycare or boarding, and will be boarding again in the future!”

“Natiia was wonderful with my dog. He stayed for a week with no issues at all. Communication was good. Pictures were greatly appreciated while away. Would recommend and use again. 💕”

“Jennifer was great! It helped us relax on our trip knowing our dog was with someone who was treating her like their own dog. Our dog was able to play outside in the fenced yard, snuggle a bunch and treated like a part of their family. We will definitely use Jennifer for another future trip! Thanks so much!”

“Sumer was perfect! This is my first time using Rover and I was very apprehensive leaving my baby with someone I did not know. From the very first message, I felt more and more comfortable. When the time came to drop Raven off, I saw how she reacted to Sumer and I was immediately at ease. I trust dogs’ reactions to people. Her spirit is so welcoming and I knew my baby was in good hands. I received multiple updates and pics throughout the stay. I love that she was allowed on furniture and able to be cuddles like she is at home. She looked happy in every pic and it made me feel so much better while I was away. 10/10! Raven will be back :-) Thank you!”

“Thomas & Emily are the best pet sitters ever. The love & attention given to Abbey was exceptional. Abbey loved playing with Monster & she was treated like their own which made it so much easier to be away. We loved the updates, photos & video. Meds were also given morning & night. We highly recommend Thomas & Emily. We will definitely use them again. Thank you both so much.”

“Cujo had a WONDERFUL time with Chris, Dan and their dog, Thor! (He even learned some German while there! :-) ) Chris sent us a few photos and video to make us feel relaxed that they were all having a great time. We highly recommend Chris and Dan, they offer a great loving, fun environment (and fenced yard!). Will call them 1st next time we ever need Rover services. SOOOOO much better than going to a kennel!”

“Samantha was beyond amazing!! She was super sweet, and it felt as though Kai Puppy (my dog) instantly felt safe with her. Sam's house was clean and clutter free and seemed an excellent environment for our bigger puppy. Samantha herself was super friendly to my husband and me and listened to all our concerns and instructions regarding Kai without complaint (it was our first time leaving her, so we were nervous, but with Samantha, we honestly had no reason to be as she was great with Kai!). Samantha also sent updates on Kai's behavior along with picture periodically throughout her boarding which was terrific for my husband and I and kept us feeling very at ease having Kai away from us. Through her updates, we saw Kai playing and cuddling and having loads of fun during her stay. We highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for dog boarding, and we will most certainly book her again in the future for our Kai Puppy!!”
“Mary did such a great job taking care of my dog! She kept me updated and was reliable. She would send me picture/video updates daily and I could tell my dog loved being with her. I felt really comfortable knowing he was in good hands. Definitely recommend!”

“Angelina took such good care of my Humphrey. I will be using her very special service again. I received so many pictures and videos of Humphrey on walks and relaxing on the couch. It did my heart good to see him comfortable and safe. I will always be grateful for the care and love he received.”

“Lauren did a great job with our dog, Mabel. Lauren was super communicative before and during the stay, sending lots of photos and updates the whole time. It was evident she really cares about the dogs that she works with. Would highly recommend!”
About: Hi! I’m Meg, a graduate student attending Aurora University online while pursuing my Master’s in Social Work. My career is centered around being patient, dependable, and attentive to individual needs, and I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for my own dog, Bentley, has given me experience beyond the average pet owner. I adopted him as an 8-week-old puppy from an accidental litter, and over the years I’ve managed his hip issues, bladder disease requiring a strict prescription diet, anxiety, and a collapsing trachea. Because of him, I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following detailed feeding instructions, and adapting to each dog’s unique routine. In addition to Bentley, I’ve cared for more than 15 dogs through house sitting, walks, and pet care for family and friends. I’m most comfortable with small- and medium-sized dogs, including puppies, senior dogs, and pets with special diets. Since I can’t have a dog of my own right now, Rover is the perfect way to combine something I truly enjoy with a flexible schedule while I’m in graduate school. Whether your pup is staying with me for the weekend or just needs an evening walk, I’ll make sure they’re safe, loved, and well cared for. Communication is important to me, so I’m happy to send photo updates and detailed visit summaries as often as you’d like. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, and I’ll follow your instructions carefully so they feel comfortable while you’re away. My goal is simple: to care for your pets the same way I’d want someone to care for mine, with patience, consistency, lots of love, and plenty of updates along the way. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m currently a graduate student attending Aurora University online, which gives me a flexible schedule. I currently offer weekend boarding in my home and evening walks during the week. I’ll always keep my availability up to date, and I’ll only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet the time and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, exercise, and any routines that help your pet feel at home. I understand that every animal is different, so I take the time to learn what makes them feel comfortable. I’m also happy to provide photo updates and detailed check-ins throughout their stay for your peace of mind.
“From the very start to finish I knew Ella was the perfect sitter for my dog. I mean she is absolutely phenomenal and her energy is amazing. She kept me updated with photos throughout the day and I slept peacefully knowing my dog was ok. I will always and forever make Ella my go to for dog sitting and you should too. She is so sweet and my dog loved her. I feel so blessed to be able to entrust her with my dog. I have a pitbull and she did so good with her! Thank you and I will be booking you again!!”

I have pet sat my family and friends pets throughout the years. My one pup at home is a special needs puppy so I have some special need care as well. “Jonna took AMAZING care of our Blaike. Her and her family were gentle, attentive, caring, loving, and kind to her. They helped ease her anxiety, made sure she was always comfortable and secure, and gave her so much love, rubs, and affection. They truly treated her like a member of the family. We will absolutely be utilizing her Boarding services for our next trip, and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter. Thank you so much Jonna!!😊❤️❤️❤️”

“Mary and her husband are like an aunt and uncle to my Ivy. She loves going to their house and playing with their sweet dog :) I get lots of pictures during Ivy's stay with Mary and she always looks so relaxed and happy!”

Julie was amazing with Greeicy! She took care of her as if she were her own dog and was very attentive the entire time. Greeicy had such a great time and was so happy to be around other dogs — I truly appreciate that! I’ll definitely book with Julie again next time!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
