“Sumer went above and beyond! She was there for me in a time of crisis and I will never forget that. She helped me out and was very flexible when it was really needed. Also, my dogs love her! I can't believe how fast my shy guy came out of his shell for her! Yay Sumer! Thank you so much!”

“We can’t say enough good things about Tanya! She was an absolute lifesaver—stepping in at the last minute after our original sitter canceled unexpectedly. Not only was she incredibly accommodating with our late booking, but she also welcomed our dog into her home like family. Tanya’s photo updates were amazing—seriously, she has a real talent for capturing those joyful, candid moments that gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious from every tail-wagging picture just how happy and comfortable our pup was in her care. Thank you, Tanya, for your kindness, flexibility, and top-tier care! We’ll absolutely be booking with you again.”

“Teresa is wonderful with our miniature dachshund, Poncho. We have taken him there whenever we go on vacation since he was a puppy and he is excited when he gets there and she sends us lots of pictures and updates. We feel really good about leaving our dog there and we highly recommend Theresa!”

“I feel like we have found a diamond in the rough. Jacqueline, Kris and Bella are so kind and truly are dog lovers. We received updates with pictures during Piper's stay. Their fenced in yard was perfect for Piper to run and sniff. Cannot say enough positive remarks regarding the excellent care Piper received. We highly recommend Jacqueline's family for daycare or boarding, and will be boarding again in the future!”

“Jennifer was great! It helped us relax on our trip knowing our dog was with someone who was treating her like their own dog. Our dog was able to play outside in the fenced yard, snuggle a bunch and treated like a part of their family. We will definitely use Jennifer for another future trip! Thanks so much!”

“Mary was the perfect choice for our dog Max and I am so glad I found her! She had a large yard for him to roam around in and she gave him so much love and attention. She also provided us with daily updates which the kids loved! I felt comfortable leaving him with her and was confident he was well taken care of and being spoiled. I will definitely use her the next time we need someone to care for Max!”

About: I have worked in vet med for almost 3 years now. I started work as a kennel technician and I am now currently a veterinary assistant. I have pet sat my family and friends pets throughout the years. My one pup at home is a special needs puppy so I have some special need care as well. My schedule has opened up recently and I would love the opportunity to be able to watch/care for pups. I am available in the afternoon/evenings on weekdays and I am free on the weekends as well. I have two very friendly dogs who could keep your furry friend company. I also have crates and play pens in home too for separation if needed.
“As always, Lauren did a wonderful job of watching our Paisley. She is so conscientious and stays in communication while we are gone. Highly recommend! Her daughter is a great help too!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was really young. Other than always having a dog of my own, I’ve taken care of pets of family, friends, and neighbors. This past year has really been the first time I’ve been without a pet. My daughter and I have a lot of love and attention to give any furry friend. I have early mornings and late afternoon-evening open Monday-Friday open and most weekends are completely open. Holiday time will have more availability with my Thanksgiving and winter break. I have a pretty big yard and a quiet neighborhood perfect for taking walks. I plan to do my best to make sure your pet feels as at home as possible when in my care.
“Duke had a great time with Chris, Dan and their pups! Would definitely recommend and would schedule with them again while we are visiting my parents in Illinois.”

“Samantha was so accomodating allowing us a meet and greet before Luna's stay. She was so attentive to Luna's needs. Samantha provided us the cutest photos and updates during her stay. She took Luna on walks, play sessions and provided ample cuddle time. Luna absolutely loved Samantha and we couldn't have been happier with our choice in Samantha.”

“Maiah was awesome. She was super responsive and sent us pictures of our dogs while they stayed with her. She took them for walks even though has a big fenced in yard for them to play. I definitely recommend her and would use her again.”
“Traci provided a wonderful experience for my pup! It was my first time leaving her since I adopted her and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole experience. Traci made my girl feel right at home and sent me updates and pictures that really eased any worries I may have had. I will definitely request Traci again in the future.”

“Ella was very attentive and very communicative in 3 years I’ve never been away from my baby more than a couple hours and she made the entire experience great for us and our puppy girl”

“Mary was wonderful and caring! She was very communicative and flexible with schedules. She was accommodating of my dog’s quirks and preferences. My dog returned home very relaxed compared to other boarding experiences. We’ll definitely keep Mary in mind for the future.”

“If I could leave more stars I would. Ali is genuinely a wonderful sitter and is obviously a dog lover through and through. She took the best care of our Emma. Her communication is wonderful, we received plenty of updates and great pictures while we were in vacation. She has moved to #1 on our list of available sitters, no one else even comes close.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Machesney Park
Sheryl and her husband were amazing. We have never kenneled our boys before and we were a little anxious about it. But Sheryl sent us videos and pictures and updated the entire duration of our fur babies stay! We will 100% be using her services again. I’m so thankful for her taking such great care of my boys! ☺️

The dogs had a great time during their first stay here! Sumer and her family were able to take them some what short notice as our long time boarder was unexpectedly moving out of town and we really appreciated that. They took great care of the dogs and our dogs had fun playing with their pups. They have a good size backyard and we were happy to get pictures and updates that they were doing well. Thanks again!

I felt so comfortable when meeting Sumner the first time. She not only made Amelia love her from the first minute, but she put a seatbelt on Amelia in the car. I received photos several times during the visit! Bottom line is that I will call her again for Amelia to stay.

Sheryl has watched our two Chinese crested' s several times now and she really does a great job caring for them. She has really eased our minds when we go on vacation and treats them like they are her own. I am sure they feel like they are at their own house when they go to visit. She does a great job communicating what they are up to and sends lots of photos so we can see they are doing great. It has been a blessing to have her watch our babies and know they are being treated well. Thank you again!
