I am comfortable with security systems and house sit for many upscale houses in the area (Dr.s & Lawyers and artists included). I have been around horses my whole life as well as other farm & exotic animals. References provided upon request. Clean Background check, non smoker, clean person. Ok with training and medication & special need animals. I’m ok with working with special needs such as diabetes (familiar with insulin and how to properly administer it in cats and dogs), urinary and kidney care that require extra love and time. About: I've been a dog owner for as long as I can remember. I currently have one nine year old Chihuahua mix on seizure medicine twice a day. We have a fenced in yard with a chain link fence perfect for letting your dog run around. I am usually up by 5am to go for a run or cycle. I work from home regularly so I can be flexible with letting the dogs out. I have a fenced in yard with one friendly dog of my own to keep your dog company. I have cameras in the home to keep an eye on the pups if I do need to run out.

About: I’ve taken care of my sweet 70 lb pit bull for 4 years now in my home with a fully fenced backyard, downstairs dog play area, private room and crate for your dog, and eufy camera access to the private room. My dog has esophageal dysmotility so I understand medically complicated dogs. My home is ideal for a dog that is lower energy and enjoys calm and quiet environments. I work remote so I am home throughout the day other than the occasional doctor appointment. On average when I leave the home, it’s usually only about 2 hours and the max is about 4 hours. I also take my dog to a home groomer every other week so I can coordinate with you to take your dog to my groomer when my dog goes for grooming for an extra cost plus you paying the groomer separately. The most important thing is that your dog and my dog get along and/or are neutral. When I leave for brief periods your dog will be crated in their private room with the door closed and my dog will be loose but without access to your dog. Note: I DO NOT take dogs on walks. I believe it is too high risk for potential altercation with other dogs or your pet and I being separated. The alternative will be my backyard where they can play and explore and also I have a downstairs dog play area with a large dog bed and many toys! I work fully remote so your dog will be with me at all times (unless I have an appointment or errand to run) either in my office, their own private room with a crate, or in the living room. I typically wake up around 6 am and pet care happens whenever my dog needs so I can do the same for your dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding and play time. I am typically in bed by 8 pm but will get up if needed to take my dog out to the bathroom as well. Safety is my main priority. I require that our dogs get along/are neutral to one another to prevent any sort of altercation. If there ever is an altercation, you would be informed immediately and the dogs can easily be separated for the rest of the day/boarding booking. I have a very quiet and calm home and live in a quiet neighborhood as well. I take breaks during work to get on the couch and spend time with my dog and will do the same for yours! Your dog must be crate trained and will be put in a crate for any time I must leave the home (max 4 hours at a time). Your dog will also have to be either in their crate or in their private room with the door closed while I sleep. Them being able to be in their private room with the door closed while I sleep will be allowed on a case-by-case basis. Note: I DO NOT take dogs on walks. I believe it is too high of a safety risk for potential altercation with other dogs or your pet and I being separated. The alternative will be my backyard where they can play and explore and also I have a downstairs dog play area with a large dog bed and many toys!
About: We have had a dog or dogs for over 20 years. My husband and I both grew up with dogs as well. Our two dogs have been with us since they were puppies and both of them attended three levels of dog training classes. I work part-time very early in the morning and we spend a lot of time at home because my kids are homeschooled. There is usually always someone at home. I will do as much as I can to accommodate the dog owner’s preference in care for their dog. We have two dogs that can play with your dog. If your dog needs to be in a crate I can accommodate that. Our dogs are not allowed on the couches and chairs but my children do let them sleep in their beds.

Sumer and her family were able to take them some what short notice as our long time boarder was unexpectedly moving out of town and we really appreciated that. I felt so comfortable when meeting Sumner the first time. She not only made Amelia love her from the first minute, but she put a seatbelt on Amelia in the car. I received photos several times during the visit! Bottom line is that I will call her again for Amelia to stay.
Sheryl has watched our two Chinese crested' s several times now and she really does a great job caring for them. She has really eased our minds when we go on vacation and treats them like they are her own. I am sure they feel like they are at their own house when they go to visit. She does a great job communicating what they are up to and sends lots of photos so we can see they are doing great.
