About: I was a mama to my Olde English Bulldogge boy Lolek for 11 years. I currently own a 2 year old Bull Terrier female named Koko and a 15 month old Cockapoo named Nala. I also have 5 chickens and 6 ducks and love to take care of animals as a homeschool mama. I homeschool my kids so I have a very flexible schedule. I am available during the week as well as the weekend. I only my be unavailable for services between 5pm-7pm as I may be taking my kids to extracurricular activities. I have 2 dogs at home so I welcome pets that get along with other animals. I have a 1.7 acre unfenced yard and love walks in my neighborhood and playtime in my yard. My dogs are crated during the night and when I am not home. I welcome pets that sleep in the crate during the night but also can accommodate well trained sleepers that need a bed or sofa. I can train your pup with simple commands and can give a bath as needed (for extra cost). I do have a dog kennel outside that I can use to let the pets I care for safely run around and play with each other.
About: I’ve grown up around animals and currently care for my 10 year old yorkie Aj. Who has taught me so much about the importance of patience, routine, and unconditional love. I pay attention to each pet’s unique personality and needs whether that’s plenty of playtime, snuggles, or extra patience for seniors. I’m also reliable and attentive making sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. 💕💕 I am super excited to take on this adventure because I have such a deep love for animals and would love to spend my extra time taking care of any lovely dogs or cats. I have a large chunk of time I can spend with cute pups! I am available after 5pm as well! My top priorities are safety and trust. In a client’s home, I always respect their rules and preferences so pets feel comfortable in their own environment. My goal is always to give pets the same love and security I give my own pup 🩷

“Alexandra is incredibly kind and gentle. She was so patient with our Lani, who’s scared of just about everything, and really respected our request to keep greetings and goodbyes calm and low-key to help prevent separation anxiety. She takes her time, used the treats for getting boots on!) And gives Lani the full walk time without rushing. We feel very comfortable with her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive walker.”

About: Hi, my name is Kimmie. I am an experienced veterinary technician(almost 21yrs; although I'm currently taking a break from teching at the moment), and I am an extreme animal lover. If you’re wondering why there's not a lot of reviews in my profile it is because a lot of my clients which, I have many, & repeat clients have come from work or word of mouth & aren’t on this app. But if you wanted some more references I can definitely give you them. I have a large fenced in yard that your dogs will love playing in. There is also a-lot of places in my neighborhood that I can take them for walks. I have been working with animals for years now as mentioned, whether it be as a vet tech or pet sitting, and I absolutely love it!! I do pet sitting/ dog walking outside of Rover as previously mentioned again if you wanted more references (than the 2 reviews I have on my page here I would be happy to provide you with them). I will take great care of your animals as if they are your children, which let's face it they basically are. I can take care of any special needs or elderly dogs or cats( I just can’t board cats but can house sit or do drop in visits for them due to someone who lives upstairs from me is highly allergic), give injections,&’ and any type of medication. It's one of the pluses of being a vet tech and pet sitting, not only because I get to work more with the animals I love so much, but because I am trained to know what to do in certain situations if need be, and what behaviors to look for if god forbid something was off or going on with your pet. This hasn't happened yet and I hope that it doesn't but I am always prepared just in case. And if they need anything at all more than I can do myself , I can go to the animal hospital with them (whether that be the one you bring them too or call the doctor/owner of the practice I work for if need be ; whichever you’d prefer) to make sure they are getting the best care and love while in my care. I am open to all different breeds and ages of dogs & cats, including puppies/kittens and senior animals as well. I am always able and willing to watch other little pets such as Guinea pigs, hamsters, ferrets, and other little fur babies like those. Your pet will be in great hands if you choose to use me as their pet sitter/dog walker. I really have a passion for caring for and being around animals. It is my happy place and it is what I truly love to do! I have loved them since I was a young child and feel so lucky to be able to do what I do today and work with them. So just know that if you decide to choose me to care for your fur babies, they will be in the best hands! ♡ Right now I am taking a break from Teching. So I'm open more for pet sitting. I can house sit if it’s just for a few days on a weekend -Friday night thru Monday night sometimes Tuesdays depending on the weekend because I work every other Tuesday 3pm- about 7:30ish. There are insists where I could house sit for a whole week it would just depend on the week. Otherwise days I work I can stop by before work, depending on location during my lunch break, and after work if it’s for just drop in visits or dog walking/ cat care.. like I mentioned earlier, I do work every other Tuesday and if I’m working that Tuesday then I am off that Thursday. (I know it’s a bit confusing) but my days off I’m available to stop in or dog walk more times per day even when I have work. But aside from the Tuesdays I work, I only ever really work till 4:30-5pm. The every other Tuesday I work 3pm-7-7:30pm(ish) so I could drop in, in the morning, before work, and after work. I can explain it to you better if you reach out to me for a pet sitting/boarding job if you are confused by my schedule because as I said it is quite confusing. Any other questions you may have regarding anything please reach out to me and I try to respond asap if not right away! 😊 The only time it may take me a little bit longer to respond is if I’m at work but even then I try to respond very quickly definitely within 8hrs of getting the message which as I said would only be if I was at work. I have a nice big fenced in back yard where they are able to run around and play. I am unfortunately unable to board cats just dogs and puppies. I do not have any animals of my own right now ( unfortunately due to not being able to have them where I live but I am able to board here one pet or if it’s say two dogs same family) so it would just be your pet with me to receive all my attention and love if they were staying with me at my home. If they need help (meds for older pets or any pet with medical issues/ if they need help going upstairs to go outside not a problem either esp since there’s only 3 or 4 steps up/down into the backyard. Or if you use a crate for them for sleeping at night that’s not a problem either. Any rules you have set for your pet I will follow them. For example if you do not want them on the couch or bed then then I’d follow your guidelines or if you like them to be walked there’s plenty of places I can take them for walks on too. It’s of course whatever you prefer when it comes to anything regarding the care of your fur baby!! If I am house sitting of course same thing however you normally do things with you’re pets I will follow (ex: not allowed on couches or beds; anything at all that you prefer or do with them I will do the same)!!
About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up my family and I have adopted 3 dogs. I absolutely love working with dogs - big, small, old, hyper, I’m your gal! I have a couple years of experience working at a doggy day care as well as some dog bathing services. I’m a junior currently attending Ramapo College. I commute to class and am available for multiple days a week. I’m usually always available on the weekends! I have a fenced yard for my dog but she is not the friendliest. I tend to bring her to the dog park where she gets along with other dogs in a bigger/more open area.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
