“Alexandra did an excellent job of keeping me in the loop about my kiddos! She gave me daily photos and a little story about them daily as well so I knew their routine never changed. Having her take care of them as I went out of the country just lifted a weight off my shoulders knowing they’re in amazing hands!”

“Jada took great care of my kitties! They clearly warmed up to her quickly because the pictures were of them lying by her for pets! She also did a great job cleaning up their bowls and carpet messes- truly appreciated!!”

“Kimberly was absolutely amazing to our babies- we booked drop-ins with our 2 kitties and they adore her! She even offered to go check on them outside of our scheduled visits during the icy weather. She’s kept in contact the whole time and send the best picture and updates. We highly recommend Kimberly and will definitely continue to her for our fur babies! THANK YOU Kimberly :)”

“Kaitlyn is amazing. We were gone for two weeks and she took care of our little kitties like they were her own! We didn't worry at all! We will definitely request her in the future.”

“I appreciate the care and time Kristin gave to my boy while I was away! She sent updates and pictures and was available to come out prior to my time away in order to meet my cat and learn a bit about him. Would definitely recommend!”

About: ’ve grown up with both cats and dogs and have always had animals in my life. I currently have two cats of my own and foster whenever I’m able, so I’m very comfortable with a wide range of personalities and needs. I also have hands-on experience caring for senior cats, including administering medication and supporting their daily routines. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or needs a little extra attention, I’m patient, reliable, and happy to provide care that keeps them feeling safe and loved. I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility for morning, lunchtime, or evening drop-ins and walks during the week. Weekends are also very open, so I can usually accommodate whatever your pet needs. Safety is always a priority. I keep a calm, clean environment and pay close attention to doors, gates, and routines. My home has a fenced in backyard. In clients’ homes, I follow instructions carefully and make sure pets stay secure, comfortable, and supervised during every visit.
“Haylea is amazing! She’s very professional and has great communication. She took great care of my cat while I was away and provided great pictures and updates. Highly recommend!”

About: Caring for dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. With 3 years of vet tech experience and 2 years at a doggy daycare, I bring both professional knowledge and genuine love to every dog I care for. I understand dog behavior, medications, and individual needs, and I treat every dog as if they were my own- so you can feel confident your pet is safe, understood, and deeply cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. While I'm currently in school Tuesdays and Thursdays, most of the time I'm home, which gives me open and flexible availability for pet care. I enjoy staying active through walks and hikes, so daily exercise and outdoor time with dogs is something I happily incorporate into my routine. Being home allows me to provide consistent supervision, attention and a calm, caring environment where pets feel safe and well cared for. I care for pets with a calm, loving and attentive approach, whether in my home or a client's home. In my home, dogs have plenty of space to relax and play, including a large fenced-in yard and a comfortable, spacious house. I also live near several forest preserves, which allows for enriching walks and outdoor time when appropriate. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, including feeding schedules and medications, and any special needs, to ensure comfort. Because I may be caring for other dogs and I have a dog of my own, I always ask about a pet's temperament and how they do around other dogs to make sure everyone stays safe, happy and stress-free.
“Kathleen went above and beyond to make sure she gave my cat his injections. He was difficult but she was a trooper and got the job done. I very much appreciate all her hard work. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was young. I was always around dogs and a bit of cats. I also have experience with birds. Through videos and teaching my own dogs I am familiar with basics of training a pet. I currently work two part time jobs. The military takes on a weekend a month for me so some weekends I am not available. I will make sure to update my schedule the best I can. Other than that I have some flexibility during the weekdays If your are currently training your pet, I can continue with training consistency while you are gone. I can feed, walk, and crate your pet as well.

“Gretchen is the best! She helped us out on very short notice over a holiday week with no hassle. Our dogs were loved on and well taken care of while we were gone. Gretchen is very trustworthy and kind,”

“A first rate job taking care of my elderly cat. She was fed exactly on schedule and her dietary considerations were met as directed. My pet was played with, cuddled and visited by a conscientious and kind caretaker who I felt confident was respectful of my property. Chris is a treasure.”

“I was really nervous leaving my 9 month month old kitty and 18 year old cat at home for 5 days while i was gone, but Rachel was such a wonderful sitter, and provided me with wonderful photos and thoughtful, detailed updates while i was gone that really put my mind at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Rachel really went above and beyond to make sure my cats were well taken care of, played with and happy. She even brought a few toys and treats for them to play with! And my 18 year old cat needed a topical medicine in her ear each day, which Rachel applied to her no problem… meaning my cat really trusts her. I almost think my cats were a little disappointed to see me instead of Rachel opening the door when i got home yesterday haha! Thanks so much Rachel - we will absolutely be in touch the next time we need a sitter!! I highly recommend her :)”

Ringwood cat parents share their Rover experiences
Heather was fantastic. She showed up on time for every visit, stayed for the full duration, and made sure both of our cats were played with and fed. We really appreciated the daily Rover cards and the thoughtful updates about how the cats were behaving each day. Overall it was a great experience, and we genuinely looked forward to reading her notes. We’d happily book with her again.
