About: I have worked professionally in the dog care industry for 3 years as a Doggy Daycare Attendant and Professional Dog Bather. During that time, I have cultivated skills that include puppy and senior canine care, administering topical and oral medications, and assisting physically disabled pets. When I was younger, my neighbors and boyfriend’s family would intrust in me to take care of their dogs and take them for walks. I have a full-time job Monday-Thursday. About: I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and have done sitting on the side for family and friends. I have raised my dogs from puppies to now they are 15 and 10 I also got a kitten about a year ago and she’s been enjoying the ride ever since! I am currently in college. As a diabetic cat, Charlie needs his insulin on a consistent schedule, and Heather was punctual at every feeding, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Charlie can be quite grumpy when I'm not around, but Heather handled his attitude effortlessly. She took the time to make him comfortable by giving him treats, keeping his favorite toys and fresh catnip available, and simply spending time talking to him. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making him feel safe and loved. I also really appreciated her thoughtful report cards and the multiple photos she sent during her visits. She went above and beyond to keep me informed and reassured. During my trip, Heather experienced a medical emergency of her own. She communicated with me and even offered to complete her remaining scheduled visits. I ultimately decided to return home early and let her know that she didn't need to worry about those visits because I wanted her to have the time to rest and recover. I appreciated her communication and willingness to follow through, even under difficult circumstances. Heather is trustworthy, caring, and clearly has a genuine love for cats. I especially appreciate the time she took to get to know both Charlie and me so she could understand his needs, personality, and routine. Being able to leave town for a few days knowing Charlie was in caring hands is priceless, and I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. I was really nervous leaving my 9 month month old kitty and 18 year old cat at home for 5 days while i was gone, but Rachel was such a wonderful sitter, and provided me with wonderful photos and thoughtful, detailed updates while i was gone that really put my mind at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Rachel really went above and beyond to make sure my cats were well taken care of, played with and happy. She even brought a few toys and treats for them to play with! And my 18 year old cat needed a topical medicine in her ear each day, which Rachel applied to her no problem… meaning my cat really trusts her. I almost think my cats were a little disappointed to see me instead of Rachel opening the door when i got home yesterday haha!
