“Kimberly did a great job caring for my 2 high energy pups. Lots of picture updates which was really nice. She even came over for a meet and greet the day before so I could introduce her to the dogs and all of their funny quirks. She goes above and beyond and I will definitely be requesting her again!”
“Chloe did great with Buffy and Buddy! She took mamy cute pictures of the pups during her visit to share and was very easy to work with! We would definitely recommend Chloe and have her sit our pups again! Thanks Chloe!”

“Jessica saved me by being able to look in on our boys on a really short notice. Thank you Jessica! Communication was great and she let us know each time when she was on her way to check in on the dogs. Shortly after that she sent us pictures of them each time. It was a comfort knowing that Jessica was taking such good care of them while we were away. I will definitely use Jessica again in the future.”

About: I am experienced in administering medicinal injections, nail trimming and teeth brushing of larger breeds, lifting 60+ lbs, pad and potty training, and assisting senior and special needs dogs. I currently work remote and spend most of the day with my own pup by my side. We go to the nearby dog park at least weekly, go on two 20-25 minute walks (1mi+) daily, and play regularly throughout the day. He is very friendly and happy to tag along for any walks or play times, if the company is welcomed. I have a large crate available, if needed, and an in ground stake in the front and back yard with 30ft leads attached, allowing for plenty of time outside in shaded and unshaded areas. Food bowls are cleaned after every meal and pet waste is cleaned up after every trip outside.

I am available after 6:00 PM Monday through Friday baby free and am available all day on weekends. I look forward to helping care for your pet! I have a fenced yard, with two friendly dogs, both of my dogs are trained to be left alone roaming the house without supervision but my 10 month old puppy is still in training!!

“Had a great experience with Bethany. She watched my cat Milo while I was away picking up my daughter from school. Even though Milo was shy (and a tad territorial), she took great care of him. Would highly recommend!”

“Kaitlyn was great! Gave all of my animals lots of love. Sent lots of pictures and conversed via text with updates. I have one pup that is skittish and a little extra work and Kaitlyn was patient with her and went above and beyond to gain her trust and progress was made in just a few visits. Really happy that I came across Kaitlyn on Rover and will absolutely be reaching out to her in the future. The consistency is great for all my fur babies but especially the one that is weary with new people. Thanks for loving on my animals! Clearly an animal lover <3”

About: I’m a full-time higher education professional with years of experience in positions requiring trust, responsibility, and attention to detail. I provide calm, reliable care while keeping pets in their familiar environment. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect. I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus, taking care of only regular clients, but I’m back on the hunt for new furry friends! Please note that I did change my first name legally a few years back which you may observe in the reviews. I adore dogs but with my busy lifestyle, ownership is not in the cards for me. I believe they are a huge responsibility not to be taken lightly and I honor that by recognizing the limitations in my life. But that's where you come in! I get my snugs, and you get someone who will care for your fur baby as their own fur baby! I’m currently caring for animals in their home. As a military veteran, I understand how stressful it can be to travel often and worry about my little friends at home. Consistency and trust are deeply rooted in the work I do.
About: I have lived with and trained multiple dogs and cats for my entire life! I am a massive animal lover and I have cared for disabled, senior, and young dogs! I am flexible with my hours. Some days I can spend the entire day in the house, others I can be there every 2-4 hours, and others I can do 4-8 hours. I work full days in Crystal Lake, but I can make my own hours to suit your needs. I am a very hands-on person. I cater to each dog's needs! Some dogs need lots of physical exercise as well as mental stimulation. I have experience with utilizing training techniques, puzzle toys, and stimulating activities for working breeds or high-energy dogs. I have patience for the senior dogs and have no issue with supporting their body weight and monitoring health.
“Thank you so much for taking care if my crazy pack. Your kindness & compassion with my old Minnie attests to your large heart to make sure fur babies are safe and comfortable in their own homes. Highly recommend and will use in the future.”

“This was my first time EVER using a dog sitter and Anna helped me to feel so much better during this process. I had a lot of anxiety worrying about him but she provided updates and completed every visit. My biggest worry was booking a sitter and them not showing up, but she did every time and in a timely manner. You could tell she loved dogs and she has 2 sweet little girls that love them too so my dog got extra attention on visits. My big dog loves kids so this worked out well! I guess that could be the only issue with other clients, if your dogs don’t prefer children, but I personally have no hesitations to book her again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
