About: I've had pets all through late childhood and into adulthood. I currently live in an apartment that makes owning pets difficult, but I love nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with a fluffy friend and a book. I've been able to get my "puppy fix" by petsitting for friends and family. I'm the one they call when they'll be out of town or working late to take care of their fluffy family member. About: I’ve had dogs since I was 3 years old. I love my pets, past and present. Currently, I have 5 dogs and 2 kitties. I have PERSONALLY successfully potty trained 2 of the dogs my family has had. I’ve owned a range of very large and very small dogs. I’ve dealt with puppies as young as 3 months and seniors as old as 13 years for dogs and 16 for cats (the cat is still alive and doing well!) I am a university student so I will be able to take care of your pets mostly in the evenings. However, I am available until noon on most weekdays and completely free on any weekend . She took the time to make him comfortable by giving him treats, keeping his favorite toys and fresh catnip available, and simply spending time talking to him. She went above and beyond to keep me informed and reassured. During my trip, Heather experienced a medical emergency of her own. She communicated with me and even offered to complete her remaining scheduled visits. I ultimately decided to return home early and let her know that she didn't need to worry about those visits because I wanted her to have the time to rest and recover. I appreciated her communication and willingness to follow through, even under difficult circumstances. Heather is trustworthy, caring, and clearly has a genuine love for cats. I especially appreciate the time she took to get to know both Charlie and me so she could understand his needs, personality, and routine. Being able to leave town for a few days knowing Charlie was in caring hands is priceless, and I couldn't have asked for a better sitter. I was really nervous leaving my 9 month month old kitty and 18 year old cat at home for 5 days while i was gone, but Rachel was such a wonderful sitter, and provided me with wonderful photos and thoughtful, detailed updates while i was gone that really put my mind at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Rachel really went above and beyond to make sure my cats were well taken care of, played with and happy. She even brought a few toys and treats for them to play with! And my 18 year old cat needed a topical medicine in her ear each day, which Rachel applied to her no problem… meaning my cat really trusts her. I almost think my cats were a little disappointed to see me instead of Rachel opening the door when i got home yesterday haha!
