I would like to know how dog is around new people. If they are shy, nervous, scared, etc then a prior meeting or two would probably be for the best. If they have any medication they need to take, any sort of routine they like to follow in the morning, evening, afternoon. An emergency contact and the number and location of their vet in case something happens.
A typical day
My day would depend on the specific preferences from the owner. We could spend a few blocks walking around the neighborhood, or it could be a quick drop-in to make sure your dog has what they need.

I've grown up with animals my whole life- cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, etc. I've taken care of pets of all ages, from young to senior.

Rachel is great! She is so accommodating and willing to work with you and your dog(s). She came and did 2 meet and greets with my dog Rascal and he knew her well enough by then for us to book her. She also sent pictures of both dogs throughout our time away to reassure us.
Rachel watched my family's 4 dogs while we went on a week long vacation. She was great, updating us daily with pics and a brief note on how they were doing. Will definitely use her again next year!
I was really nervous leaving my 9 month month old kitty and 18 year old cat at home for 5 days while i was gone, but Rachel was such a wonderful sitter, and provided me with wonderful photos and thoughtful, detailed updates while i was gone that really put my mind at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Rachel really went above and beyond to make sure my cats were well taken care of, played with and happy. She even brought a few toys and treats for them to play with! And my 18 year old cat needed a topical medicine in her ear each day, which Rachel applied to her no problem… meaning my cat really trusts her. I almost think my cats were a little disappointed to see me instead of Rachel opening the door when i got home yesterday haha! Thanks so much Rachel - we will absolutely be in touch the next time we need a sitter!! I highly recommend her :)
Rachel was amazing, she paid great attention to Sally and sent pictures to us everyday.
