“If I could leave 10 stars I would. Jill and her family were the best! I broke my tibia and fibula back in July and it’s been hard handling an 100+ pound German Shepherd so I was nervous about leaving him with other people, but I was so wrong. In these few days Jill has helped him calm down and just slow down in general. I was able to walk him for the first time in 6 months because of her. It’s like I have a new dog, I cried lol. I can’t believe how above and beyond she went. I’m so grateful to have come across her profile because I have been contemplating on giving him to someone who could handle him but I don’t have to do that now. She was always amazing with sending little pics and updates. Big shout out to Jill and the fam❤️ 100000/10 Forsureeee”

“Alicia was the best! I knew from our meet and greet that she was going to be great with Tig and of course she was. I had no worries while we were out of town as she sent updates and photos of our Tig often. I can tell he is going to miss his new hangout and all their love & cuddles. I will absolutely book again if I need to in the future.”

About: I am the definition of an animal lover, which I attribute to having had animals around my entire life. I grew up with Australian shepherds, German shepherds, cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! I am extremely comfortable walking dogs, giving them medication via food, and managing when to let them out to go to the bathroom. I’m also willing to give a big furry dog a good brush if they need it! I have lived primarily with big dogs, but have had close relationships with small dogs through friends and my husband’s family whom I have dog sat for in the past. In addition, I am a massive cat lover. I was given a kitten when I was 8 years old and had her for 19 years until she just recently passed. In her senior years, she had both hypothyroidism and asthma so I am well-versed in giving cats inhalers and medication in various forms (via dropper, ear application, in treats, and in food). I am a dependable dog and cat sitter/caretaker because I know how much your animal means to you. I’m an extremely organized person so you can count on me to be reliable with pick-up, drop-off, and everything in between. Taking care of your animal would not be a job to me because I am so happy to do it! I work twice a week so I could watch an animal full time during three weekdays in addition to weekends. I am still more than willing to watch animal for an entire week and either modify my work schedule to be with them more, or just make sure they are set up for the days I am in office. I have a non-smoking home with one cat and two people including myself. My home would be an extremely relaxing environment for a pet and due to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate nearly full-time care to an animal. Since I have a cat, I would only really be able to have dogs stay overnight for a couple-day stint since I'd prefer to keep them separate. In my client's home I would offer the same care in addition to respecting the environment. I'm naturally a very clean person and always pick up after myself.
“Carla did a great job watching and taken care of our dog Lizzo while we were out of town. She always provided amazing updates, photographs and videos of our pet, so we had a peace of mind. Lizzo seemed very happy and comfortable at her home. She play with her two dogs, especially her sweet heart Stella. At night, Lizzo slept with Carla. We are luck to have her because Carla really went above and beyond to take care of our dog. She is very trust worthy and caring and definitely recommend her.”

“Deanne took wonderful care of our dog at her house while we were out of town. She sent us pictures and messages to see how she was doing. I would totally recommend her to any pet owner and will certainly be using her in the future. Thank you for a great stay!”

“Dickson is a very caring dog sitter. He did everything he could to make my bulldog feel comfortable and have fun. He gives video and picture updates of their adventures. I would absolutely have him watch my dog again!”

“Megan was very welcoming and accommodated some last-minute travel plans and made Copper feel right at home. He also got along well with her three pups. He enjoyed having a fenced in backyard where he could run around and play. Thank you!”

“Don’t wait to book your dog’s stay with Debbie and her lovely family! She gave our 6 month Golden Retriever so much love and attention while we were away. We’ve already rebooked with Debbie for our next trip. She kept us updated with photos and made us feel at ease. Thank you Debbie!!”

“From start to finish, Barbara was helpful and welcoming to our family and Kylo. Kylo definitely missed her and wanted to say goodbye. We will definitely use Barbara again because she took amazing care of our family dog. Thank you for all the updates and for looking out for our dog.”

“Higgins loved his time with Carolyn. She is amazing and took great care of our boy. from frequent walks, daily updates and lots of pictures she keeps in close contact during the stay. We found a gem!!!”

“Excellent and highly recommend ! very welcoming and inviting while providing a safe and happy place for our dog while we’re away. Will book again without reservation . I appreciated the updates and pics also. Thank you Again , Mariya & Eva.”

“Rusty was a great match for our Frankie. At the meet and greet he asked many questions to get to know Frankie's personality. We left him for 10 nights and had daily pictures/movies of Frankie. Frankie is a senior and in the hot days of July his comfort was considered. It was nice to leave him in good care.”

“Kim was great with our dachshund. She’s very caring and communicative. She sent photos and updates so we knew our dog was in good hands. Can’t wait to book again when it’s warm for our dog to run around in her fenced backyard!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I’m so glad I went with Kimberly! She communicated very well and took good care of all my kitties! I was very nervous about leaving them all weekend, but when I got back they seemed like they have a good weekend and we’re not stressed about me being gone. Will definitely be using her again if needed!”

“Heather is amazing. We left our girl for the first time for a vacation and Heather made us feel really secure in doing so. She gave every bit of care and attention to keep the cat doing well in our absence. The reports were thoughtful and thorough. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Kaitlyn is amazing. We were gone for two weeks and she took care of our little kitties like they were her own! We didn't worry at all! We will definitely request her in the future.”

About: I lived with two cats for two years, mastering the art of meals, clean litter boxes, and top‑tier cuddle sessions. I also cat‑sit my brother’s cat often, at his place as well as my own, so I’m used to adapting to different routines and making sure every kitty feels safe, cozy, and adored.
About: Ive been around dogs all my life, whether that be family dogs or neighbors dogs that I would visit all the time and watched grow up, I’ve had 3 dogs in the last 10 years and currently have a working breed puppy under 1 year old. I’ve been doing all of her training at home and have been teaching basic skills to my pets for 9+ years! I work full time from 7-2 Wednesday through Sunday, I’m available for sitting, walking, and if your dog is dog friendly I can take it and my puppy to any nearby dog park/ open field (with long leads) and let them burn off some steam! Have any weird quirks when it comes to your beloved pet? I’ll gladly work with anything you may throw at me! I’d love to help keep your pet entertained and exercised whenever you need a helping hand! I have a couple of snuffle mats I can bring by if your pup needs a little extra enrichment!

“We had such a wonderful experience with our dog sitter! She took amazing care of our dogs and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. She was reliable, caring, attentive, and kept us updated, which gave us so much peace of mind.”

“I was really nervous leaving my 9 month month old kitty and 18 year old cat at home for 5 days while i was gone, but Rachel was such a wonderful sitter, and provided me with wonderful photos and thoughtful, detailed updates while i was gone that really put my mind at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Rachel really went above and beyond to make sure my cats were well taken care of, played with and happy. She even brought a few toys and treats for them to play with! And my 18 year old cat needed a topical medicine in her ear each day, which Rachel applied to her no problem… meaning my cat really trusts her. I almost think my cats were a little disappointed to see me instead of Rachel opening the door when i got home yesterday haha! Thanks so much Rachel - we will absolutely be in touch the next time we need a sitter!! I highly recommend her :)”

“Emily visited daily and fed the cats as per instructions. She gave them attention and sent photos. She went above and beyond with the litter boxes and other minor chores. I would book her again.”

“A first rate job taking care of my elderly cat. She was fed exactly on schedule and her dietary considerations were met as directed. My pet was played with, cuddled and visited by a conscientious and kind caretaker who I felt confident was respectful of my property. Chris is a treasure.”

About: I grew up with many different cats. Most of them rescues and strays that we were able to save. I was fortunate to save my current cat from a hoarder house. She has had many health issues as she grew older. On the other hand, when I visit my mom, I am able to see the cats I grew up with and see them live their lavish lifestyle.

About: My dog passed away a few years ago and I miss him every day, but my family is not in a place to have a full time dog right now. However, I work from home and I’d love to have a doggie “coworker” who needs a buddy during the day. I have provided care to multiple dogs and can provide references if you need them. As mentioned, I currently work full time from home. Both of my children are in school all day so it’s just me in the house. I do have drop off and pick up to work around but we can discuss. I work out of a home office and can have the dog in the office with me all day. They can be in a dog bed or sitting on my lap if they’re small enough. I’ll take them on frequent walks and make sure they get adequate exercise. We have a gazebo and I'd be happy to sit outside with your dog so they get fresh air too (weather permitting).
“Carolyn was great with Bella and Lincoln. She provided pictures and updates throughout the day. It's comforting knowing our pups were in good hands while we went into Chicago. I'm glad they spent the day having fun and going on walks with Carolyn 😊”

About: I've lived with dogs almost my entire life, and adopted my first dog 15 years ago. I've since owned two Border Collies, who both participated in advanced agility and obedience work. I'm comfortable with high-drive, working breeds as well as your typical pet dogs. I have also trained and lived with Golden Retrievers, Labs, Pitties, Havanese and Shih Tzus, so I'm familiar with a wide range of breeds, and I've cared for dogs in all stages of life -- from puppies to seniors. Whether your pup is a cuddle-loving couch potato or a ride-or-die adventure pal, they'll fit in great here! I currently work from home most days, and homeschool my two kids (ages 10 and 12). I have a very flexible schedule and am always up to go for a hike or play fetch between various family activities, or to snuggle up on the couch with a good book and a pup to cuddle. Your pet will be surrounded by a friendly family environment, and included in the daily routine I follow with my own dogs! I have a fenced in yard and am located near many lovely nature trails as well as a fully walk-able neighborhood including access to the McHenry Riverwalk only a block away! Daily walks never get boring with so many options available. Whether I'm strolling down the block to watch the geese on the river, or hitting up a local trail, every day is fun and interesting. If our dogs get along these can be joint adventures, but if your dog is more of a solo adventurer I am happy to walk and play separately!

“Rachel was awesome and so sweet. My Roxy loved her from the start and didn't even bark at her (which Roxy normally does to any new person that comes to our house) but she was calm and just wanted to sniff her. Rachel was prompt and overall awesome. We will definitely be rebooking for our recurring needs! I also appreciated Rachels last minute availability :)”

I'm very comfortable with all dogs no matter the size or breed. I have handled a variety of dogs from timid to major explorers. Any instructions given to me I will happily follow. I have always had a easy time connecting with dogs! They are truly mans best friend and I understand just how much they mean to their families :)
About: I've grown up around animals of all kinds and have also provided care for many of them along the way. I take pride in ensuring any animal in my care is safe, happy and healthy from the day they arrive to the day they leave! (We have a female dog who we'd love to let meet more friends, if possible!) Schedule open to discussion, dependent on the individual(s) wants and needs- I can provide care for cats/dogs as well as farm animals: chickes, pigs, goats/sheep, minis/horses, donkeys, turkeys, ducks, etc. I am happy to provide labor as well as feeding, mucking, turning out/exercising, moving hay/watering, egg collection, etc. Happy to learn what I do not know! 😊 I am happy to provide walks and playtime to those in my care, at your place of residence! (Or tailored care to the particular animal(s) at your home)- open to discussion based on the needs of the client requesting at the time.
About: I grew up with cats and dogs in the household. While my mom was away at work, my sister and I would be in charge of taking care of the animals. When I was younger, my neighbors and boyfriend’s family would intrust in me to take care of their dogs and take them for walks. I have a full-time job Monday-Thursday. I am flexible enough to alternate Fridays and Saturdays every week. Although they are already set in the schedule. Depending on the day I am not working, I am free all day (Friday-Sunday). I can give more details on my work schedule as needed. Depending on the client's house and their rules, I respect the clients guidelines and the requirements they expect. From previous walks/ in home stay/ feedings, I always communicated and client put their trust in me. If there was any concern or question, I respond very quick to ensure they can rely on an answer.

“We starting using Lori about two weeks ago and she has been great. Chelsea, our dog, loves her. The weather had been rainy windy and cold lately but she is still taking great care of her and it truly puts my mind at ease while working knowing Chelsea is in good reliable hands. ”

“Stella and her lovely family were absolutely wonderful with our guy. They were of course very much experienced and knowledgeable. They provided daily feedback and were very responsive to any messages. Highly recommend and would come back!”

“Higgins loved his time with Carolyn. She is amazing and took great care of our boy. from frequent walks, daily updates and lots of pictures she keeps in close contact during the stay. We found a gem!!!”

“Angela & Dave took great care of Scout. Angela was very communicative and sent photo updates throughout the stay. Scout made new friends with their dogs and the others staying too.”

“Loved having Jess take care of our big pup! He was welcomed into her family for our extended vacation and he immediately felt comfortable and at home! (He’s a little anxious so this was a big deal!). We got regular updates and photos. Will 100% use her again!”

“I loved leaving my Yogi at JoAnne’s. She was very welcoming, anxious to make sure I was comfortable with her house and her puppy and she had a calm friendly manner. Yogi ran right in, met her dog and started playing, JoAnne sent me several very cute pictures of Yogi playing and resting, so I could see that he was having a good time. I would hire her again if she is available.”

“Melody was absolutely amazing with our dog blue! Kept us updated with lots of pictures, took him for walks and car rides, and even got his nails clipped for us!!! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe place for their animals! Thank you Melody!!! Blue absolutely loved his stay with you!”
