About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 7 years old. I grew up on an acreage and we always had cats and dogs. I can administer shots and medication and have experience bottle feeding kittens and bunnies. I love animals and understand that each one is different and deserves love. I am patient and careful with each pet, giving them the attention they need and feel most comfortable with. I have a soft spot for senior animals. I am a teacher, so I am available all summer for your pet sitting needs! During the school year, I am only available on the weekends or after school check-ins. I will follow all directions and rules for taking care of your pet(s). Each one is special and I understand they all have their own needs. I am great at going with the flow with your pet and letting them lead the activity.
“I was really nervous leaving my 9 month month old kitty and 18 year old cat at home for 5 days while i was gone, but Rachel was such a wonderful sitter, and provided me with wonderful photos and thoughtful, detailed updates while i was gone that really put my mind at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Rachel really went above and beyond to make sure my cats were well taken care of, played with and happy. She even brought a few toys and treats for them to play with! And my 18 year old cat needed a topical medicine in her ear each day, which Rachel applied to her no problem… meaning my cat really trusts her.
