“We needed care for our almost 13 year old quirky dog, Lucy for a week while we traveled to Michigan to be with my mom while she had major surgery/recovery. I found Debbie on Rover and contacted her regarding boarding Lucy while we were gone. On the phone, I immediately felt comfortable with Debbie. We chatted for 15-20 minutes and I told her all of Lucy's "quirks." She invited us over for a meet and greet right away to ensure Lucy (and us) felt comfortable. Our Lucy has been recovering from a leg injury and also has been a VERY picky eater. Therefore we needed someone that would be very patient with her. Debbie and her family were amazing. Debbie and her husband were able to get Lucy to eat regularly and also take her vitamins! This has been a feat for us let me tell you! They even taught me a couple tricks to get Lucy to eat her vitamins! And since Lucy has come home, she has been so much better with her eating and her leg as well! I couldn’t be more happy ? We received updates every single day...and Debbie took so many beautiful photos of Lucy. She really has a talent for photography! I never had to worry for a minute about Lucy. She was spoiled rotten by Debbie and her family. We cannot express how grateful we are to have found Debbie and her family.”

About: I am the definition of an animal lover, which I attribute to having had animals around my entire life. I grew up with Australian shepherds, German shepherds, cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! I am extremely comfortable walking dogs, giving them medication via food, and managing when to let them out to go to the bathroom. I’m also willing to give a big furry dog a good brush if they need it! I have lived primarily with big dogs, but have had close relationships with small dogs through friends and my husband’s family whom I have dog sat for in the past. In addition, I am a massive cat lover. I was given a kitten when I was 8 years old and had her for 19 years until she just recently passed. In her senior years, she had both hypothyroidism and asthma so I am well-versed in giving cats inhalers and medication in various forms (via dropper, ear application, in treats, and in food). I am a dependable dog and cat sitter/caretaker because I know how much your animal means to you. I’m an extremely organized person so you can count on me to be reliable with pick-up, drop-off, and everything in between. Taking care of your animal would not be a job to me because I am so happy to do it! I work all day Tuesday and Thursday and the occasional Monday, Wednesday or Friday depending on when I am scheduled (only 4 hours shifts on those days) so I could watch an animal full time during three weekdays in addition to weekends. I am still more than willing to watch an animal for an entire week and either modify my work schedule to be with them more, or just make sure they are set up for the days I am in office. I have a non-smoking home with one cat and two people including myself. My home would be an extremely relaxing environment for a pet and due to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate nearly full-time care to an animal. Since I have a cat, I would only really be able to have dogs stay overnight for a couple-day stint since I'd prefer to keep them separate. About: My husband I both grew up with golden retrievers and have a soft spot for them. When I was first out on my own and bought my first home, I rescued a pit bull and she was with me until she passed. My husband, sons and I are all dog lovers and would love to welcome your dog into our home. My husband is home full time and I work from home and we are anxious to care for your pet! We have 2 sons - ages 6 and 10, so kid-friendly dogs are a must. We are available any day of the week at any time, unless we have something specific planned (which is not often). Please feel free to ask about specific dates and times and I will be sure to add you to my calendar! My husband is home full time and I work from home so we have ample amounts of time to care for your pet. My 2 sons LOVE dogs and love to play and take dogs on walks. Our yard is unfenced, per our HOA rules so your pet will always be on a leash for potty breaks and walks around the neighborhood. Pets are free to explore the entire home and will not be crated or gated, unless a crate is provided and requested.

About: Ive always grew up with dogs and cats. When they're around me they must get spoiled I cannot resist! I have a separate room that any animal is more than welcome to stay in incase they prefer being alone vs getting along with other animals. Dogs i can take anytime and Cats are more then welcome to stay for days as there is a separate room if needed, a spare litter box and plenty of extra cat food bowls! If given the opportunity to take care of your baby, I would treat it as my own! Spoil it and be sure to make sure it has everything it needs and make it feel at home even when it is not at its usual home!

About: I grew up with a sweet smooth collie and helped take care of her throughout my childhood. These days I take care of friends and families dogs while they go on vacation or just need a quick sitter for the day/night. I also have a pet chinchilla, Cheaches, that I take care of everyday :) I'm a elementary teacher, so my availability during the summer is very open. I plan to be home full time most days but things do come up. If I need to be away I will always prioritize coming back to care for the pets. About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I have never had a moment in my life where I was not around pets in some capacity. I spent time with my own dogs and cats as well as working at my sister’s grooming salon as a bather and pet sitter. I was also my friends and neighbors contact when they needed someone to care for their pets. I have been an active volunteer with a local pitbull rescue for many years and spend my free time with the rescue dogs and doing adoption events. I also started volunteering at the local animal rescue by my house as and spend time taking dogs out and helping with fundraising events. I am available on a case by case basis during the day throughout the week but have open availability on weekends for in-home sitting or walks. I can do early morning, lunch, or evening walks/check-in for those busy days to bring you peace of mind that your pets are safe and cared for. I am happy to help provide that. *Surcharges* -visits between 9:00pm-7:00am will have $10 surcharge added after we confirm booking -visits requested outside of 8 mile radius may also incur a $10 surcharge after booking is confirmed (Ex: a $35 drop-in visit(30 min) would become $45) I take care of all animals as though they are my own by ensuring their best interest at heart. I treat the safety and well being of all animals as a top priority. I truly care for animals and have an infinite amount of compassion and respect for them. I am certified in Pet CPR + First Aid. I am knowledgeable with different behaviors and walking accessories (ex: different harness and collar set ups) so I can ensure safety for your pet in all situations that may present while on a walk or visit. Please trust that your pets will be treated with absolute care and respect. I will go above and beyond for any animal in my care as well as providing you with the best communication and care for your home and time.
About: I've grown up with animals my whole life- cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, reptiles, etc. I've taken care of pets of all ages, from young to senior. I am available all days of the week, including the weekends. My time schedule is flexible and I would also be able to do drop in visits or stay overnight as well. By following owner specific instructions when given, I strive to make both the pet(s), and thus the owner, feel safe while under my current care.
About: Love to have a furry companion on my walks and give them some time outside, I’ve had dogs my whole life big and small and always enjoy walking them. Me and my husband are working part time, and we love dogs, so we have plenty of free days to spend and take nice walks with your pup! I am a dog lover and dog mom of a handsome young beagle named Tom and a high energy Cattle Dog mix named Titan. I'm excited to be a part of a fun adventure in your pups life! Debbie and her husband were able to get Lucy to eat regularly and also take her vitamins! This has been a feat for us let me tell you! They even taught me a couple tricks to get Lucy to eat her vitamins! And since Lucy has come home, she has been so much better with her eating and her leg as well! I couldn’t be more happy ? We received updates every single day...and Debbie took so many beautiful photos of Lucy. She really has a talent for photography! I never had to worry for a minute about Lucy. About: I am the definition of an animal lover, which I attribute to having had animals around my entire life. I grew up with Australian shepherds, German shepherds, cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! I am extremely comfortable walking dogs, giving them medication via food, and managing when to let them out to go to the bathroom. I’m also willing to give a big furry dog a good brush if they need it! I have lived primarily with big dogs, but have had close relationships with small dogs through friends and my husband’s family whom I have dog sat for in the past. In addition, I am a massive cat lover. I was given a kitten when I was 8 years old and had her for 19 years until she just recently passed. In her senior years, she had both hypothyroidism and asthma so I am well-versed in giving cats inhalers and medication in various forms (via dropper, ear application, in treats, and in food). I am a dependable dog and cat sitter/caretaker because I know how much your animal means to you. I’m an extremely organized person so you can count on me to be reliable with pick-up, drop-off, and everything in between. Taking care of your animal would not be a job to me because I am so happy to do it! I work all day Tuesday and Thursday and the occasional Monday, Wednesday or Friday depending on when I am scheduled (only 4 hours shifts on those days) so I could watch an animal full time during three weekdays in addition to weekends. I am still more than willing to watch an animal for an entire week and either modify my work schedule to be with them more, or just make sure they are set up for the days I am in office. I have a non-smoking home with one cat and two people including myself. My home would be an extremely relaxing environment for a pet and due to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate nearly full-time care to an animal. Since I have a cat, I would only really be able to have dogs stay overnight for a couple-day stint since I'd prefer to keep them separate. In my client's home I would offer the same care in addition to respecting the environment. I'm naturally a very clean person and always pick up after myself.

About: In addition to my own dogs, I have also owned cats of my own in the past, giving me years of firsthand experience with feline care. This personal background fits perfectly with the routine care I provide for my sister’s animals whenever she goes on vacation four times a year. I take complete charge of her four dogs—three Miniature Pomeranians and a Goldendoodle—and have even cared for their puppies in my home on two separate occasions while she was out of town. My responsibilities for her also include looking after her cats, ensuring they are properly fed, and keeping their litter boxes clean. This extensive, hands-on experience with multi-pet households, puppies, and feline care has made me highly adept at maintaining safety, routines, and a nurturing environment for animals of all ages and types. I'm pretty open as I'm a special education teacher and off in the summer. I have free time and I'm flexible. I would love to make extra money doing what I love. I care for them as I would my own children. We are all in the same area as a family. Pets are free to roam the house and I have a fenced in yard.
