“Beth is so great and takes such good care of my pup. I was hesitant to use this app, but she put me at ease and goes above and beyond to give my pup the time, attention, and exercise he needs! Thanks Beth :)”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life since I was young! I’ve had 5 dogs growing up and one of my very own into adulthood. I’ve also had 11 snakes, a guinea pig, and fish. I also currently have two of the best black cats in the world named Jasmine and Ozzy. I’ve pet sat since I was a young teen for family and friends. I have experience as well giving medications including insulin shots. I also have two of my own children and have a ton of experience with care and I’m so excited to meet your fur babies! I’m currently going to school for Respiratory Therapist! I am in person Monday and Wednesday from 8-5 but besides that I am free! I customize your pets experience to their owners requests and pets needs! Your fur babies will always get the most love and care. If your dog loves outdoors then I will spend time with them outside. If they love to just be cuddled with and a good belly scratch then I can provide that! I want to make your animals feel safe and loved!
“Alphonse is the best! He came today even though it was so cold. Had I known it was below 0 degrees I would have canceled today. Neither Alphonse nor my dog should have been out. They started their walk and Norma showed that she was cold and her paws were suffering. I’m so grateful that he had the good sense to bring her home before the scheduled end to her walk!”

About: dogs are the best and we don’t deserve them! i’ve taken care of dogs all my life and there’s never been a bigger passion of mine i currently have 5 dogs and take care of them every day of the week! they basically are my whole schedule and my whole passion i think communication is important and i want to make sure you feel your dog is as safe as they would be with you! i am here to make you and your dog feel comfortable and safe!
About: I am the definition of an animal lover, which I attribute to having had animals around my entire life. I grew up with Australian shepherds, German shepherds, cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! I am extremely comfortable walking dogs, giving them medication via food, and managing when to let them out to go to the bathroom. I’m also willing to give a big furry dog a good brush if they need it! I have lived primarily with big dogs, but have had close relationships with small dogs through friends and my husband’s family whom I have dog sat for in the past. In addition, I am a massive cat lover. I was given a kitten when I was 8 years old and had her for 19 years until she just recently passed. In her senior years, she had both hypothyroidism and asthma so I am well-versed in giving cats inhalers and medication in various forms (via dropper, ear application, in treats, and in food). I am a dependable dog and cat sitter/caretaker because I know how much your animal means to you. I’m an extremely organized person so you can count on me to be reliable with pick-up, drop-off, and everything in between. Taking care of your animal would not be a job to me because I am so happy to do it! I work twice a week so I could watch an animal full time during three weekdays in addition to weekends. I am still more than willing to watch animal for an entire week and either modify my work schedule to be with them more, or just make sure they are set up for the days I am in office. I have a non-smoking home with one cat and two people including myself. My home would be an extremely relaxing environment for a pet and due to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate nearly full-time care to an animal. Since I have a cat, I would only really be able to have dogs stay overnight for a couple-day stint since I'd prefer to keep them separate. In my client's home I would offer the same care in addition to respecting the environment. I'm naturally a very clean person and always pick up after myself.

“Rachel was awesome and so sweet. My Roxy loved her from the start and didn't even bark at her (which Roxy normally does to any new person that comes to our house) but she was calm and just wanted to sniff her. Rachel was prompt and overall awesome. We will definitely be rebooking for our recurring needs! I also appreciated Rachels last minute availability :)”

I have most mornings and evenings free for both walks and making sure they’re comfortable at home! I’ll care for your dog in your home so that they’re as comfortable as possible, and treat both your animals and your home with the utmost respect and care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
