I was raised with dogs and after college started adopting my own. I had a Doby/Shep mix that lived to be 11.5, a Lhasa Apso who lived to 15.5, another one who lived to 16, I adopted another Lhasa Apso when he was 14 and he lived to be 17! Right now, I have a 7 year-old, 17 lb. PomPooKie. I am very responsible if your pets need medication or special food. I also raised a child, she's 39, alive, employed, & doing well. LOL! Dogs who want to come for sleepovers need to be house-broken and able to walk on a leash as my yard is not fenced. I have also had frogs & a snake as a pets. I taught music in Schaumburg for 35 years and I am the GM of The SYMPHONY of Oak Park & River Forest and play oboe, Ehorn, ukulele, & sing in a few groups.
