About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have also had a small private pet/house sitting business for the past 12 years. I have a lot of experience feeding pets with strict/special diets using oils, powders, crushed up supplements etc. and administering medicine including insulin injections. Drop in- I will stop at your home and let dogs out, feed & water, play, etc. for no less than 20 minutes. I can also care for cats if you have them. I have had many dog/cat sitting gigs (mostly over multiple nights and staying at their place) over the past five years and really enjoy getting to spend time with other people's pets and help them out! I'll be good for your pets because I'm able to adjust to every individual need for your animals. I've watched dogs for friends and family for many years while they were on vacation. I have spent the last few years working in commercial pet care at various daycare and boarding facilities. This includes dogs, cats, birds and various small rodents. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make your dogs, and yourself as comfortable as possible. I'm happy to go on frequent walks of any duration or difficulty. I used to take one of my own dogs hiking so I'm willing and able to do whatever they are used to. I have a fenced yard, with a single cat in the home. She is very friendly and not territorial. I have privately boarded dogs for a long time and references are avilable.
About: I have been around all different types of pets since I was 5. They have always been a part of my family. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, chickens and so many more. I can provide many references if needed. I currently work from home so I am very flexible with days and hours. I am also able to pick your pup up or drop off if you need me too. Since I work from home, I am able to take them on multiple walks throughout the day! Your fur baby will be treated as if they were my own.

“Truly incredible ❤️ We needed a last-minute sitter for a 1.5 week trip. Makena was miraculously available and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. It’s always a little scary leaving your dog with someone you don’t know, but we did a quick meet and greet ahead of time and then Makena was amazing about sending photos and videos with quick updates over the course of the stay. Our dog was so well cared for and clearly felt loved and cozy in Makena’s home. I’m so so grateful and so sad this was our first and last time with Makena given we’re moving out of state soon. Any and every dog who gets to spend time with her (and her incredibly sweet dog, Bear) is so lucky! Our girl can be super anxious and shy but felt right at home from the very first day.
