About: I've owned pets and have loved animals my entire life. My patience allows me to create special bonds with animals of all shapes, temperaments, and sizes. I currently work from home, so a midday potty, food, walk, and/or play session would fit perfectly into my schedule! Longer sessions would work as well. I believe your pet will be most comfortable at home, and would be willing to travel there during the day for any expected, or unexpected, services.
âWe were lucky to have Cynthia as our dog sitter. Cynthia and her family were able to watch our dog Gary on short notice, which made us really happy. Right from the beginning, Cynthia communicated with us well and was very friendly and understanding. We felt comfortable leaving Gary with Cynthia. She sent regular updates with photos and wrote a lovely Rover card at the end, filled with pictures and lots of details. It was so thoughtful and sweet. We would definitely recommend her to others without hesitation. Cynthia is professional, kind, and genuinely loves dogs. Thank you for taking such great care of Gary and being an outstanding dog sitter!â

âEmily took great care of our pup, Toby! He is 10 weeks old and she was capable of managing the extra needs of a young puppy. Emily was very communicative and responsive to messages. We would send our pup to be cared for by her again!â

âMy little Westie loves Suellen and her two sweet dogs. They treat her like one of their own. It's great for me to be able to drop her off for the day, knowing she'll have fun and be safe.â

âWe are very grateful to Tracy. She took care of our adolescent dog with his first experience with daycare. We had a sudden family emergency that required someone to look after our pub. She was open and communicative which was very helpful. Would recommend to others.â

âMegan was absolutely wonderful! Very friendly and I loved the updates. Lazlo was very Happy and had a Fun day đâđŚşđ Will Definitely be a repeat client!!â

About: I took care of my family's dog until I moved to college, and I really miss having a dog! Rover is perfect because it will allow me to satisfy my love for dogs while fitting with my schedule and helping you. I am also hoping to get a dog in the near future. I enjoy running and walking so having a dog with energy is not a problem as long as they are leash trained. Iâm currently working from home full time. I can be flexible on when walks occur but am fairly busy between 8-5 and need some heads up to plan around meetings. I do not have a fenced in yard but will take your dog on frequent walks or as needed if youâre booking that service. Iâm careful to follow instructions on how to get into your house for walks and lock up on the way out.
âVirginia was quick to respond, happily took Merlin in in less than a weeks notice, and was flexible with my schedule/longer work hours. It was just an extra bonus that her pup, Athena, and Merlin instantly hit it off! I will definitely be booking with her again.â

About: I've taken care of pets since I was little. My first job was pet sitting my neighbors dog and two cats. One of my favorite memories from childhood was volunteering at my local humane society in Florida. I did that for multiple years and helped walk dogs and entertain the cats. We always had dogs growing up and have had cats and a guinea pig before as well. I've always loved taking care of animals and would be honored to take care of your pet! :) I work from home, so will have plenty of time to interact with your animals throughout the day. I usually run an errand or go to the gym after work but other than that I am at home most of the time and can shower your pet with love and attention or give them space if preferred! :) I live in a 2 story home with a basement and side yard (no fenced backyard). My neighborhood is very walking friendly and my home is very safe! I have plenty of space to crate your pet if preferred.
âI'm thrilled I found this family to take care of my chocolate lab. Came to Madison for a wedding looking to find someone to wear out my dog. I sure did find great family. They have nice size property for her to run around, toys , and a bonus kiddie water pool. I picked her up and she fell asleep right away before we made it too the hotel. Thank you. I will use them again whenever I'm back in Madison.â

About: I started pet sitting at age 12. Iâm comfortable with all animals from exotic to barnyard (ex. Horses, pigs, bearded dragons, wolf-dogs, fox, skunks, parrots and ferrets). I have had my dog for six years, and I recently took in a senior cat over the summer whom has adjusted flawlessly. I am a full time student and currently unemployed during my pregnancy journey. I spend most days at home, as most of my coursework is online. My pets are crate trained and respect boundaries. I also have baby gates for separation. I do not require crate training but it is extremely helpful if your pet is, so please let me know!
âOur 3 dogs love going to Karaâs. They run in the door and barely look back at us. We know theyâre having a great time by the photos Kara sends us during their stay. She takes wonderful care of them.â

âWe are not from Madison, but just in town for one evening. Meghanâs communication was excellent from the beginning to the end. We talked about our situation and what we needed for care later in the evening. Meghan provided fantastic care for Moose - playing lots of fetch and helping him with his nervous separation. She took and shared lots of photos and brought him on 3 walks. Her profile was thoughtful and drew us in - we knew she would be the perfect fit. We are thankful for her hospitality and letting us park our car in front of her house while we were in town for a football game. If we are in the Madison area again, we will hire Meghan to hang out with Moose. Thank you! ??â

âElla was really sweet for helping me find a sitter last minute. Her communication before, during, and after was impeccable! It made me feel assured that Remy was in good hands while in her care. I highly recommend!â

Richmond Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Laura was absolutely amazing with my 6 month old puppy Apollo, I wish I could hire her as my own full time dog sitter! She was caring, an absolute animal lover, and she had a day full of activities for Apollo. I am a first time pup mama and it always makes me so nervous to leave Apollo with someone else. This is my first time sending Apollo to someone elseâs home. Laura sent multiple updates through out the day with photos. Laura has her own dogs and cats and introduced them to my rambunctious puppy safely. I was most worried about my puppy being around other animals due to his extreme energy, but she was very reassuring that this is just how puppies are and not to worry. Best part is Laura makes her very own homemade treats, and was sure to ask about sensitivities and even sent me her ingredient list to be safe. 1000/10 recommend, will not hesitate to utilize her again.
