I have 3 dogs myself and we go on walks regularly taking 1 or 2 dogs at a time. We hang out in our back yard often and play fetch, sometimes we go paddle boarding in the summer months. I walk my children to and from school on nice days with a dog or 2 in tow. We take the dogs on sniffaries very often either leash walking or letting them sniff the air on a car ride especially when the weather isn’t the greatest. I own a salon downtown and work part time while my kiddos are in school, they are older 9 and 10 yrs and have grown up around dogs and know their manners around dogs. I may leave for 2-4 hours during the week, guest dogs either crate (I own different size crates no need to bring one) or relax in a bedroom while I am out if they do not tear up items and can be left out. I do leave a live camera on them while I am away to check in. Other than that we are home quite a bit just playing in the back yard.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 6’ privacy fence that we supervise and play with dogs in. Having multiple dogs in my home with mixed energy, some relax and watch while my younger dog tends to do my job for me and plays with the more high energy dogs nonstop. I feed guest dogs in a separate room if needed and have space for more shy dogs to decompress if they get overwhelmed by people or other dogs. I only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time to not over load our pack and keep attention to the guest dog(s). I also carry Pet Care Insurance on top of Rover’s guarantee because I do care about your dogs, mine and anyone coming into my home. Only 30% of pet sitters carry pet care insurance.

Information Jessica M. would like to know about your pet
Please bring your dog’s favorite toy and dog bed or blanket to remind them of home for comfort and let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should be made aware of. Are they playful and friendly, are they a bit shy? Do they need to decompress quietly or will they be ready for backyard play with other dogs? Please bring your dog’s food and instructions on amounts/how often, treats and please let me know if they have any food sensitivities!
A typical day
We have a dog pool that gets filled often for dogs to splash in, tug ropes, frisbee, a ball dispenser for those that know how to bring back to dispenser or wait for me to refill because a lot of dogs just don’t get it…It’s pretty funny! I have treat puzzles and we often snuggle and watch movies with the kids. If they know basic training or want to work on sit, look at me, down, stand, off, shake, other paw, wait, come, heel, easy, leave it, place and take gentle those are the basic commands I typically work on.

Reviews

Jessica is the best sitter I have ever had on Rover!!! She took great care of my Mickey and provided lots of updates throughout each day. Will definitely book with her again, my dog had a great time with her and her dogs!!

Amazing as usual!

My dogs absolutely loved the stay. Jessica is awesome!

If you are looking for a dog sitter - look no further! Jessica is a kind and caring person who has a lot of experience with dogs. My dog stayed with Jessica for 8 days and had so much fun. Jessica sent me updated and pictures constantly, and went out of her way to make sure my needs are met and that my dog is happy and healthy. As long as Jessica is available, she will always remain my first choice dog sitter.
