1. Mindy V.
“Mindy took great care of our boys! I’m always nervous about leaving them, because our oldest is 12 now, and has a knee that is problematic, but Mindy took her time with both of them, walked them, fed them (which, again, is a task with the oldest) and communicated clearly during visits. I’d definitely recommend Mindy, and hope to have her keep the boys again.”

About: Hi there! I absolutely love animals and enjoy taking care of them. I’ve been watching/taking care of dogs for around 10 years and I love it! I do have one dog of my own, but when I do book pets, she goes and stays with her grandparents, so your fur babies can have all my attention! I currently work full time at a thoroughbred farm in Nicholasville! When I house sit, my typical routine is to get up around 7, take care of all the fur babies and head to work! When my lunch break comes, around 12, I head back and hang out and play with all of the animals until I have to go back to work around 1. Then around 3:30/4 I head home for the night :) I have a fenced in backyard that is shaded by trees! All the dogs that I have watched seemed to love hanging out in the backyard!
3. Destiny P.
“My wife and I have had Destiny take care of our Dogs Toby and Sadie several time, and she always does an amazing job! Toby is a 70 Lb shepherd lab mix and Sadie is a 60 Lb rough collie. She does a great job keeping all their needs met, and also takes the time to bond with the dogs and settle any anxiety’s that have when we’re gone. Destiny is a genuine pet person and it shows !”

About: I have had animals my whole life and love them!! I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I care for them along with many animals of my friends and family. I have a wide variety of experience from all sizes, breeds, and ages. I promise to love your animal just as they were mine:) I am a nursing student at EKU and I am just looking for something that will allow me to balance my school schedule as well. I have a pretty open schedule except for Tuesday’s and Thursdays which I am not available from 8:00am-4:00pm due to classes. I am not able to be at home with my animals so why not accompany the ones around me😊 I pretty much do whatever the client wants me to do or what the animal is used to. I do not crate my animals at home due to someone always being in the household with them but am understanding of any demands or routines.
8. Emmet G.
“Emmet is fantastic with animals! He has helped care for dozens of foster animals, dogs and cats included, and has such a big heart with them. He currently has two cats, one of which he has cared for since birth (and bottle fed too), and is such a loving pet parent to them both. He would be great with your animals!”

She has watched my black lab, Fenway, on multiple occasions during trips and busy days, and she has done a phenomenal job. Bailey is caring, attentive, and engaging with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and she would be a great pick for any Rover needs!”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I understand how important it is to find loving, quality care for your little one! I also understand the anxiety that can come with leaving your guy or gal in the care of someone else. I’ll work with you to customize care, companionship, and communication to make sure both you and your furry friend feel completely at ease! I am experienced with older and younger animals, medication administration and special needs animals. For all services - drop ins, house sitting and dog walking services - you can look forward to regular updates, and pictures while your little one looks forward to playtime, massages, and snuggles! I’ll take care of your little one as if they are my own. Unfortunately, I no longer offer boarding services. One of my guys is getting older, is easily injured and a bit impatient! :) I work from home — this allows me some flexibility and the ability to customize my breaks and lunch based on the needs of my clients. Unfortunately, I no longer offer boarding services due to the needs of my older dog Giggs. He gets stressed easily and has knee and back issues from time to time.
19. Ragheen Hill
“We have a rescue dog that struggles with fear based anxiety/aggression and separation anxiety. We started using Reghan's services in March 2021, shortly after we adopted Murphy when we were deep into separation anxiety training. At that time, Murphy could only be left during monitored departures where we returned as soon as he got distressed. Reghan's dog sitting services were crucial during that time because it allowed us to still be able to leave the house, but not set back his training. She followed our detailed instructions on his training routine and medicine. Our dog doesn't easily warm up to people, but he loves Reghan and is so happy when she stays with him/drops in! Murphy has progressed significantly from where he started with separation anxiety but he still has to be managed differently from other dogs. Reghan continues to dog sit for drop-ins, extended letouts, overnights, and vacations. She sends photo/video updates and lets our boy snuggle with her. She does walks within the guidelines provided and plays fetch. The neighbors have commented on how good she is about calmly getting Murphy to relax in the backyard when he loses it over a squirrel! She keeps the house tidy while stays for overnights and vacation. She has checked mail, brought in garbage bins, and completed minor pool maintenance upon request. Murphy would not have made the progress he has without a dog sitter like Reghan. She has a way with animals and her caring and calming approach earned the trust of our nervous dog!”
