About: I have such a huge passion for all pets! I work as a vet tech at a very well respected animal clinic! I’m also more than comfortable cleaning up accidents! I currently work full time but have an hour long lunch in which I can come take care of bathroom breaks, give meds, and do walks. I can do visits in the morning before work and visits after work as well! I can also pet sit on the weekends or house sit through the week! I currently live in an apartment so boarding wise I would like to stay to small dogs and cats only, but can house sit any size, breed, or age!

About: Hi, I’m Haley! I’m new to Rover but not new to pet care. I have over 15 years of professional animal care experience for everything between snakes and horses, but my heart will always belong to dogs. I grew up with Golden Retrievers and cats in the home, and adopted MY first dog at 16. I have three dogs currently: Honey, Bat, and Jonesy. You can read more about them on my profile! I lost my senior dog, Ellie, in April 2024. She had a slew of health problems including Cushing’s and diabetes. Being her mom for 12 years was the greatest gift, but caring for her at the end of her life was the greatest honor. The last few years with her came with its own set of challenges - but it ultimately taught me more about senior dog/special needs care than I ever anticipated. Rest assured I am confident and comfortable with injection medication as long as you point me in the direction of your pets preferred injection site. In addition to my own animals, I spent my youth learning from my aunts in the animal business One is a pet sitter with 30+ years of experience. The other runs a small boarding facility for dogs, horses, cats, and llamas on her 20 acre ranch in. Growing up with them I didn’t just learn how to care for animals, I inherited a deeply rooted respect and reverence for them. I work from home full time in HR management position. Most of the time I can step away as needed and resume my work anytime, anywhere, with no issues. I have a fenced in back yard but do not currently offer in-home pet sitting. This is due to my reactive rescue, Honey. She does well with dogs, but I would not feel comfortable having someone else’s baby around her. I want to keep everyone safe! I can come to your home for feedings, potty breaks, playtime, and even have some (limited) availability for overnight stays.

About: What sets me apart is that I grew up with bug dogs in my household. Being a caregiver to an English Bull Mastiff meant I had to develop skills like being able to understand dogs and train them be able to keep them on a schedule, with lots of attention. I understand and can meet your pets needs I go to school as a full time student but most of my classes are online! So that means I can watch your pet while I do homework take intervals of playing with them feeding them taking them out and other tasks! I can feed, brush, clean up after, watch, play, take outside, and work out and other special things to keep your mind at ease while you’re away from your pets!

About: I’ve cared for pets of all kinds-from farm animals to small pets like rabbits and hamsters, and of course, cats and dogs of all sizes. With years of experience and a lifelong love for animals, I’m ready to give your pets the same care and attention I give my own. I understand how important your furbabies are, and I’d love to provide them with reliable, loving care. I’m an active college student at Eastern Kentucky University! I have classes three days a week, with breaks between them, leaving plenty of time to care for your precious furbabies. I’d love to provide them with the attention and love they deserve. I would love to shower your pets with love and attention! I always follow any rules you provide for food, treats, or routines. For dogs, I enjoy giving them plenty of time outside when the weather permits, and I am happy to take them on walks. I’m also more than willing to get on the floor and play with any pets who want interaction. I follow instructions carefully and make it a point to leave your home tidy, taking care of any messes your pets might make along the way.

Note: I’m no longer able to offer boarding services. One of my own sweet boys is getting up in years—he’s a little more fragile, and a little less patient than he once was, and I worry that boarding a stranger would cause him a lot of unnecessary stress. I work from home — this allows me some flexibility and the ability to customize my breaks and lunch based on the needs of my clients. When caring for pets in the home of my clients, it’s important to remember that the little one that I’m caring for is likely stressed because their mom and/or dad are gone, and there is a stranger (me) in their home. With that in mind, I typically spend more time with them than what is required by Rover because they need the extra time to feel comfortable with me. I take time to try to get to know them and help them feel more at ease. I treat them with the same amount of compassion I want for my own!

About: I am a certified professional dog trainer through CCPDT and use positive reinforcement, force-free methods with all of my services. My goal as a pet professional is to make my time with your pets fun, exciting and productive. From pet retail, to doggy daycare, to my very own dog training business, I have been working as a professional in the pet industry for over 8 years. Currently, I have two dogs, two cats and a ball python and have owned many other exotics in the past. I have volunteered with retired racing Greyhound adoption for years by transporting, fostering and adopting them into their forever homes. I look forward to adding more pets and their owners to the awesome family I've created through my training and boarding business. Being a self-employed dog trainer, I am committed full-time to the pets in my care. Occasionally, when noted, I will have to step out for an in-home dog training lesson or walk, but I am able to return promptly, within 1-2 hours. I have a secure, privacy fenced backyard with cold water bowls, shade, raised dog beds, and toys to climb and play on. We love to pull out the puppy pool or sprinkler on hot summer days! Please note, dogs are never left unattended while out. If dogs must be left unattended for a short time, I have a fully suited up kennel room complete with a TV (to play cartoons or music), comfy blankets and cool AC or warm heat. For safety purposes, boarders will sleep overnight and enjoy their meals in their crates. I am a self-employed business owner, so dog training and pet care is my full-time job. My schedule is very flexible, as nearly all of my time is spent working with dogs, pets and my clients. Dogs will be crated for safety anytime they cannot be actively supervised, as well as during mealtimes. I have a fully suited, cozy kennel room in my home with heat/AC, music and a TV for comfort, plus a camera recording video footage for additional safety. My home is proofed, and my backyard has a secure 6.5ft privacy fence. Dogs will never be left unsupervised in the home or yard.

About: Spent whole life with dogs and cats. Am owner of service dog and work consistently with him daily; therefore, I can participate in any training your pet may be involved in. I am confident with all pets of all ages and happy to take care of your dogs and cats. I am certified cat and dog CPR/First Aid. I am EKU student on summer break so my current schedule is wide open. I plan to continue offering pet care services when school starts up again in the Fall. I have a large, well-fenced yard for your dog to play in, with a few nice shade trees as well. Love taking dogs for walks and our neighborhood is perfect for walking dogs. Dogs can also come inside to enjoy AC if it’s too hot outside. My dog + I are happy to come to your home also, to care for your pets.

About: I came into this world with a dog by my side. Dixie, Koko, Ginger, Roxy and now Drake have all confirmed the old saying that "A dog is a man's best friend." Luck has given me an older brother who is now a Veterinarian Pathologist and a sister-in-law who is a resident at the vet clinic at The Ohio State University. Needless to say, I've been drilled in every aspect of pet care and I am confident I will be able to take care of your family member like they were my own. As a college basketball coach, my schedule is quite busy and can vary but I also have the flexibility to set my own schedule. I pop out of work to come play with your 4 legged family member or even go for a stroll to get some fresh air. Much like human beings, not every pet is the same. Outside of the normal requirements to maintain a healthy lifestyle for a pet, how I interact with your pet will be based on how well we get along. If it will take some time for your pet and I learn each other, I am quite patient and will ensure the pet feels comfortable no matter what. If your pet welcomes me in with open paws, I will be a happy camper upon arrival.

About: I've had so many various types of dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, chickens and more. My main love is dogs. I find the best way to truly care for them is to understand them. Not only by breed but individually. I organized a large dog park group of over 40 members here in Richmond to advocate for dog friendly spaces and connect them with playmate friends and I love to help others with their four legged family members. My schedule is adaptable and I'd love to help you keep yours safe, fed, healthy and happy. A dog's smile is always the greatest reward. I'm available afternoons and evenings, week days and weekends and holidays as well! I can be contacted for short notice needs and I'm flexible with the ability to do task that you may need. I am flexible to the needs of your pet/pets and your wishes and needs for care. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I’ve potty trained them, worked with them on obedience as well as teach them how to do tricks! I currently do not have a full time job so I have plenty of time each day to fit pet care in my daily routine. We have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for them to run and we also have two dogs of our own to keep them company!

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was around 10-11 years old. Trust me to take care of your fur (or fur less) babies! I’m currently working the weekends at a local vet hospital. I can check in on your pets anytime during the week or before and after my shift! I can offer just as little as feeding/watering but can also take your babies on walks, offer to stay the night for your pet, anything is fine with me!

About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience! I am a responsible pet owner of (3) small dogs. I do have basic training experience and have crate trained all three of my dogs successfully (after many sleepless nights of course). I work from home full-time so I am always at home and available for drop ins, doggy day care, or boarding! My house has a fenced in yard and all three of my dogs are up to date on vaccinations, including Bordetella. I also walk our dogs daily (weather permitting) so you can ensure your little one will get exercise, if they would like it that is! I have also fostered rescue dogs previously through Paws 4 a Cause in Lexington. I am an avid animal lover and will treat your dog as one of my own. Please note: due to my dogs being smaller (all under 25 pounds) I wont be able to accept dogs larger than 30-40 pounds. My dogs are tough and love to play, but we want to avoid any play injuries! I work from home full-time so I will be available throughout the day for your pet. I am able to let your pet out, or drop by and check on your pets many times throughout the day. Even when my schedule is busy I still usually have time to step away for pet care! I care for the pets in my home by keeping a watchful eye over them. They have access to our backyard and I ensure to step out and check on them often. I know what foods are safe for dogs and what foods are dangerous. My dogs are on different medications (for allergies), so I am well versed on giving oral medications if needed as well. If I am checking on your pet(s), or staying over at your place, you can rest assured that I am taking care of your pet(s) as if they were my own!

About: I got my first dog, Simba, when I was three and have been around animals since. I often dog sit for friends and family because who doesn't love dogs?! I will follow any and all rules, just give me the scoop. I don't have much experience in giving dogs medication, however, I have three children who I have successfully medicated for the last ten years, so I'm confident with a quick demo I can make it happen! :) Currently my availability is very flexible as I am working part-time from home so I would be with your precious doggy at all times keeping a very watchful eye and making sure that we have a memorable time together! I offer daily walks and have three very sweet and kind children ages 11, 10, and 3who love to give extra ear rubs and play time with all animals. I do not have a dog of my own, however I have had a large variety of pets around my entire life and would be happy to take great care of yours! I’m currently working from home so I will have eyes on your bundle of joy the entire visit and can give as many updates as you’d like. Keeping your pet safe is my number one priority. I keep a very close eye and make for sure all doors/windows are shut. My apartment complex has a dog park, if interested, that your pet can enjoy!
