“I recently took a trip overseas and had to leave my cat home for a week. This is the first time I've been away from her for more than one or two days, so I was very nervous. I can say with utmost confidence that I wouldn't have enjoyed my vacation as much as I did without Tessa's help. Nymeria's not been around many people other than myself, so I knew it'd be difficult for her to adjust to someone else, but Tessa was incredibly patient and understanding with her. She never tried to push Nymeria's boundaries and always made sure each visit was as stress free as possible. Even though the area where I live was going through nasty weather, Tessa made sure I got to see some photos and videos of my cat each day during her visit. Knowing that Tessa was making sure Nymeria was well fed, had plenty of water, and a clean litter box lifted such a weight off my shoulders. Not to mention Tessa also works at a veterinarian clinic! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to watch over my fussy cat when I couldn't be there. Honestly I can't thank Tessa enough!”

About: I have been around animals my whole life and am passionate about caring for pets of all kinds! I truly believe pets are family and I know how hard it can be to leave your babies home, that is why I am dedicated to providing quality, exceptional care and tons of loving to your furbabies to help you feel as at ease as possible. I promise to go above and beyond to ensue your pets are happy & content during their staycation! I have 7 furbabies of my own: 3 pups, 2 kitties, and 2 free roam bunnies! They are my whole world. I am also one of the founders of a 501c3 cat rescue and am passionate about saving the lives of animals in need! I have previous professional experience working in a cat/dog boarding & daycare facility as well as currently as a dog bather in a salon. I can provide medication administration and am comfortable caring for pets with special needs as well as seniors and anxious/fearful babies. I will take my time earning their trust and love to build positive relationships with all of the animals I care for. I don't mind getting my hands dirty to clean up any accidents either. Your babies come first and I can't wait to get to meet them! I am currently working 8 hours Wednesday through Saturday so I’m available for morning/evening drop offs those days and am completely free Sunday through Tuesday to care for your furbabies! The safety and comfort of your furbabies is my number 1 priority! I will take as much time as they need getting to know them and earning their trust, so that they will be as happy as possible while you are away. My care will be tailored to your pets and their routines to help them feel as at ease as possible. I also love to keep parents updated and have a passion for photography, so I'll be sure to send you cute pics and videos of your babies!

About: I am a certified professional dog trainer through CCPDT and use positive reinforcement, force-free methods with all of my services. My goal as a pet professional is to make my time with your pets fun, exciting and productive. From pet retail, to doggy daycare, to my very own dog training business, I have been working as a professional in the pet industry for over 8 years. Currently, I have two dogs, two cats and a ball python and have owned many other exotics in the past. I have volunteered with retired racing Greyhound adoption for years by transporting, fostering and adopting them into their forever homes. I look forward to adding more pets and their owners to the awesome family I've created through my training and boarding business. Being a self-employed dog trainer, I am committed full-time to the pets in my care. Occasionally, when noted, I will have to step out for an in-home dog training lesson or walk, but I am able to return promptly, within 1-2 hours. I have a secure, privacy fenced backyard with cold water bowls, shade, raised dog beds, and toys to climb and play on. We love to pull out the puppy pool or sprinkler on hot summer days! Please note, dogs are never left unattended while out. If dogs must be left unattended for a short time, I have a fully suited up kennel room complete with a TV (to play cartoons or music), comfy blankets and cool AC or warm heat. For safety purposes, boarders will sleep overnight and enjoy their meals in their crates. I am a self-employed business owner, so dog training and pet care is my full-time job. My schedule is very flexible, as nearly all of my time is spent working with dogs, pets and my clients. Dogs will be crated for safety anytime they cannot be actively supervised, as well as during mealtimes. I have a fully suited, cozy kennel room in my home with heat/AC, music and a TV for comfort, plus a camera recording video footage for additional safety. My home is proofed, and my backyard has a secure 6.5ft privacy fence. Dogs will never be left unsupervised in the home or yard.

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I have pet sit for my neighbors and friends many many times. I love spending my time with things I love and doing and I love spending time with animals. i'm currently not working so I have a lot of free time to make sure that the animals I am caring for are very well cared for I have a friendly cat and a fencing yard with a bunch of grass trees and shade so that your pet can stay cool while still having fun

“This was my first time using Rover and first time finding a sitter in my new area after a recent move so I wanted to be sure I found someone who loves cats and would take good care of them while we were away. Hannah was very reliable, prompt and communicated updates and pictures at each visit. She let me know about anything I would need to know with our pets and with our home (such as when our power went out and went it came back on, or how well they were eating or interacting with her). She also gave medicine to one of our kitties each day. Hannah was easily available by phone and was even able to add in an additional impromptu visit to make sure our babies were safe and taken care of (on a holiday weekend I might add!) Her love and concern for our babies was apparent. We will definitely book with Hannah again next time we need a sitter! Thank you! 😊”

About: I have loved pets my whole life. My experience includes many years working for a local humane society, pitbull rescue, vet clinic, and doggy day care. I am certain that I can accommodate your furry friend regardless of their needs! I work full time, so I am only available for long-term jobs on weekends. However, during the week I am happy to come by to walk your pet after work or check in on them before and after my shift. I do not have a yard, but all pets that board with me would stay inside and only be let out on leashes for potties and walks. My home is animal friendly with hardwood floors, and there will be no table scraps or "people treats" given to pets. At night pets will stay with me in an enclosed bedroom (and are welcome to get up on the bed if so allowed by their pet parents).

About: My wife and I live on a farm with plenty to explore! I’m a full-time teacher, which means patience, consistency, and understanding individual needs are a big part of who I am. I bring that same approach to pet care. I’m reliable, calm, and always focused on keeping pets comfortable, happy, and safe. When your dog is with me, they’re treated like family with plenty of affection, routine, and communication so you feel confident while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our routine. My wife or I are always home which allows us to give pets full attention and avoid any rushed or distracted care. We live on a spacious property where dogs have plenty of room to explore, and we make sure outdoor time is always supervised. We use secure tethers and leashes to keep pets safe while still giving them the chance to enjoy fresh air and play. Whether inside or outside, we stay attentive to where the dog is and how they’re doing. Our goal is a calm, safe environment where pets can relax, stretch their legs, and feel comfortable and cared for.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs practically my whole life. It’s one of my greatest passions and most of my life I would dogsit for anyone who would let me growing up. I would love to make sure all of the animals are safe and well cared for while their owners are gone. I currently go to school and work part time, but there is most certainly time for me to fit in helping these families with their animals when they need it. I do live in an apartment complex but I have many years of experience with walking dogs of all kinds so I could walk it when needed. As for as toys, a crate or bedding at my apartment, I don’t have much of that, but could get some if needed.

About: Growing up, we had a wide array of pets, from fish to hamsters to cats to dogs. We had a retriever/pittie mix as a family dog, and now I have my own young german shepherd named Koda. I know what it's like for people to fear your dog and believe no dog is beyond help. Koda was reactive when I rescued her and have worked with a dog trainer for over a year when I lived in Boston. Slowly and surely, her reactivity is getting better through balanced training and dog psychology. I believe in structure and boundaries with pets and have been trained to used the slip lead, power loop, prong collar, e-collar. I work from home full time and train/exercise Koda 1.5-2 hours a day so am used to working with a dog that needs constant mental and physical stimulation. I believe that firm boundaries and structure help guide a dog and puts their mind at ease. My dog is crate-trained and is not allowed on furniture unless she has earned it (:

About: What sets me apart is that I grew up with bug dogs in my household. Being a caregiver to an English Bull Mastiff meant I had to develop skills like being able to understand dogs and train them be able to keep them on a schedule, with lots of attention. I understand and can meet your pets needs I go to school as a full time student but most of my classes are online! So that means I can watch your pet while I do homework take intervals of playing with them feeding them taking them out and other tasks! I can feed, brush, clean up after, watch, play, take outside, and work out and other special things to keep your mind at ease while you’re away from your pets!
