About: I have always had dogs of my own. When there’s a dog or puppy in the house I am always the main caretaker. Also before switching careers I worked as a full-time vet technician and a customer advisor at a pet store. And I loved both jobs just as much as my current career. Providing the best quality pet care is my number one priority, whether it's my pet or someone else's. I love caring for animals and I love how they care for us too. I have been able to learn and gain valuable knowledge to provide a variety of pet care and always the best. Not only have I work with dogs on the job, I have a bachelors degree in Animal Science. About: Hello, my name is Shannan. I have experience with caring for dogs in clients’ houses. For note, I am Deaf and I use my fluent language, American Sign Language, for communication writing the paper or texting the phone. Usually, when I dog sit I stay at the dog’s house when the dog’s parents go on vacation or are gone for long weekends. I care for the dog, make sure they get fed, and are loved. We go outside and play, relax and go for walks around the neighborhood or at a park. I love to go for walks and get fresh air. I will inform you, how your dog is to make sure okay and send the photos as you need. Text me only and I will look forward to talk to you. I am free for any day of the week. I currently working at Gabe’s in Lexington and it has been different every week. Also, I working on my own small business design, like part of graphic design, illustration, and photography. I will clean the house before clients return home such as cleaning dishes, taking out the trash (if needed), and sweeping the floor. Also, I always make sure to fill the water in the bowl for a dog before I leave.

“She came and visited my kitties for a week. Litter box was not consistently cleaned daily or checked. My cats pooped on the floor in bedroom. They do not do this unless litter box is not cleaned for days. Same bowls were used for wet food for the entire week though I left instructions that there were extra bowls in a bin near food. It looks like the soft food just kept getting piled on into the same bowl and was dried and stuck on the bowl for days. Unfortunately won’t be using Jackie again.”
