“I recently took a trip overseas and had to leave my cat home for a week. This is the first time I've been away from her for more than one or two days, so I was very nervous. I can say with utmost confidence that I wouldn't have enjoyed my vacation as much as I did without Tessa's help. Nymeria's not been around many people other than myself, so I knew it'd be difficult for her to adjust to someone else, but Tessa was incredibly patient and understanding with her. She never tried to push Nymeria's boundaries and always made sure each visit was as stress free as possible. Even though the area where I live was going through nasty weather, Tessa made sure I got to see some photos and videos of my cat each day during her visit. Knowing that Tessa was making sure Nymeria was well fed, had plenty of water, and a clean litter box lifted such a weight off my shoulders. Not to mention Tessa also works at a veterinarian clinic! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to watch over my fussy cat when I couldn't be there. Honestly I can't thank Tessa enough!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs practically my whole life. It’s one of my greatest passions and most of my life I would dogsit for anyone who would let me growing up. I would love to make sure all of the animals are safe and well cared for while their owners are gone. I currently go to school and work part time, but there is most certainly time for me to fit in helping these families with their animals when they need it. I do live in an apartment complex but I have many years of experience with walking dogs of all kinds so I could walk it when needed. As for as toys, a crate or bedding at my apartment, I don’t have much of that, but could get some if needed.

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats all my life I personally have 2 dogs and one cat. Ive lived around animals my whole life and love them all dearly. I am currently a college student and I am in a musical theatre production but I will have plenty of time for your pets in between classes and before and after rehearsals! I will give your pets all the attention I do not offer services in my home because my cat is very jumpy but I will gladly come over and keep your baby company, walk them and feed them.

About: I am a certified professional dog trainer and was a veterinary assistant for over 8 years. I have over a decade of experience caring for animals large and small. I have ample experience caring for pets with mobility issues, incontinence, kidney disease, diabetes, anxiety, or other illnesses. I can provide gold standard care regardless of your pet's needs- including oral, topical, or injectable medications, subcutaneous fluid therapy, or just being a patient and calm friend to a fearful friend. I love and care for dogs and cats equally! I currently work a full-time 9-to-5 but have a somewhat flexible schedule within those hours. Early mornings, lunch breaks, evenings, nighttime checks, and weekends are all available options. If taking your pet out of the house, I like to have a fit check of your leash/harness or collar setup first. If your pet is known to be a "houdini" who can escape their gear, I may recommend alternatives and can help you with fitting your pet appropriately and/or bring a second form of containment with me (such as a slip leash used at vet offices) to ensure your pet's safety.

Although I work as a substitute teacher, there are many days I am home part or all of the day. While I have a generic routine, I like to know the pets usual routine so I can cater to that as much as is possible. I have a small fenced yard, but most importantly, my apartment is set up with pet safety in mind. I have gates and latches to prevent accidental runners, my cat has her own space to keep away from other animals, I have the space and ability to separate dogs if needed. Ultimately I treat them like my own. They are welcome in my bed, have free run of the common areas, have lots of toys... I am always up for snuggles and fun!

About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. As I hope you can tell, I will not only provide what your pet needs to survive, but I will also provide him/her with special attention and love. I look forward to meeting with both you and your pet! Until then, take care! I will be able to fulfill any house/pet sitting duties without any issues, as I am able to balance my obligations responsibly and with respect to myself and those that hire me. While pet/house sitting, I will abide the rules given to me. This could include when they play, where they sleep, any medications needed, when to eat, etc.

About: I’ve loved caring for my friends and family’s pets for many years, so now I would love to love and care for your pets as extra income I work full time M-F, often weekends I am available for overnight stays, or throughout the week on my lunch for a 30 minute walk I take care or your pets and your home like they are my own. I live with two other young girls, and we live on a safe culdesac with a completely fenced in backyard, and our yard backs up to a local park, which is perfect for games of fetch and quick walks! I am serious about leash safety, and always make sure other dogs are on leashes when interacting with my own dog.

My mom is a dog groomer and I’ve handled and cuddled all dogs and cats of all sizes & have watched & learned to care for every ones extended families (fur babies)! With a small old dog of my own I’ve been able to experience a full spectrum of dog parenting and would love to take care of your pets so you can rest and relax knowing they’re in good hands :) I teach yoga a few hours a week and enjoy getting steps in and hanging with dog friends in the between, this let’s me continue my yoga gig and do something else I love too! I try to stay as close as I can to the routine of the animal and what’s “normal” for them and comforting them while owners are away. And maybe a few extra treats ;) near our home is a dog park + plenty of space to roam for in-home pet visits as well!
