“I recently moved from NY to KY and was in need of someone to help care for my four dogs. I had spoken to many people and wasn’t comfortable with anyone as I had my prior dog walker in Ny for over 10 years. I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . She helps with my dogs that have medical issues and she is always there when and if I need her. She takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I’ve never had to worry about them when I’m away. She is an absolute god send and I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs practically my whole life. It’s one of my greatest passions and most of my life I would dogsit for anyone who would let me growing up. I would love to make sure all of the animals are safe and well cared for while their owners are gone. I currently go to school and work part time, but there is most certainly time for me to fit in helping these families with their animals when they need it. I do live in an apartment complex but I have many years of experience with walking dogs of all kinds so I could walk it when needed. As for as toys, a crate or bedding at my apartment, I don’t have much of that, but could get some if needed.

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was born, I love playing, walking and just handing out with them! Also i know the hardships it takes. I am a very available person, I do have a part time job but other than that I’m very free. I usually work a few hours every other day. I love going on runs which I enjoy very much to take a dog on, this could be a short walk or a hike! I’m very active but always love bringing animals with me even if it’s just to get a pup cup or play at a park!!! I currently have 3 dogs, and I watch my sister dog on occasion. My house has a fenced yard of an acre letting the 3 of them run freely. I’m very much for making an outside environment for dogs. But also believe in rest time. I usually spend time watching tv with my dogs or just laying with them

I own a pet-sitting business serving Central Kentucky. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses of different ages, sizes, personalities, and needs. I follow owner instructions carefully, keep a close eye on the animals in my care, and communicate promptly if I notice anything concerning. You’ll also receive updates so you know how your pets are doing while you’re away. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pets in someone else’s hands. My goal is for you to come home to happy animals who have been well cared for and whose normal routine has been disrupted as little as possible. Whether you have one spoiled house cat, an energetic dog, a senior who likes to take things slowly, or a whole household of four-legged family members, I’d be happy to care for them. Although I work as a substitute teacher, there are many days I am home part or all of the day. While I have a generic routine, I like to know the pets usual routine so I can cater to that as much as is possible. I have a small fenced yard, but most importantly, my apartment is set up with pet safety in mind. I have gates and latches to prevent accidental runners, my cat has her own space to keep away from other animals, I have the space and ability to separate dogs if needed. Ultimately I treat them like my own. They are welcome in my bed, have free run of the common areas, have lots of toys... I am always up for snuggles and fun!

About: I have been training dogs since I was 12 and sitting for 6 years now. I find the most joy in being with animals of all kinds. My experience doesn’t stop at dogs. I have cared for cats, horses, chickens, ducks, bunnies, fish, and so many more. I just moved to the area and I am trying to build up my clientele again. My schedule is pretty wide open right now as I wait for my next training in May 2027. My home is not conducive to boarding other peoples animals but I will happily care for them in the comfort of their own home where they are comfortable and have everything they need, while I pour my time and energy into them!

About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

About: I have always been around animals. From bottle feeding kittens to keeping friends dogs when they go on vacation. I am a huge animal lover and want to love your animal like my own! I currently work full time 7am-3:30pm daily but I’m happy to fit your animal care needs into my evenings or weekends that I always have free! I currently have no pets of my own. Prefer to care for and board pets at the owners home. Happy to make accommodations as needed!

I own 3 energetic dogs who play constantly and run around the yard, so I am definitely used to a little controlled chaos. I can easily take dogs on walks or crate them. About: We came across the Cavapoo breed as our loving Rottweiler was on his journey to his “better place”. We chose the Cavapoo breed as our furry rainbow puppy to help us all with the tough loss. Fast fwd 5 years, and WOW, still can’t believe the journey that was created for us. Dog breeding, training, boarding and grooming just the way I would want my pups taken care of…in a home. Our setup is ready for all stages of dogs and of course, personalities. This is a small family business and we make pet care fit seamlessly into our lives. We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.

About: My first job was working at a vet clinic with dogs and 20 years later I’m still passionate about what I do! I am a certified pet care technician with a lifetime of experience working with dogs. Also pet CPR certified. I have a dog grooming area on-site at home as well. Can sent text and photo updates. I am a current member of APDT Association of professional dog trainers, working towards my dog training certification. I love all breeds but I especially love working with bully breeds. Many boarding facilities do not allow these breeds of dog. Most are just big cuddle bugs, and I am happy to oblige!

About: - There has never been a point in my life where I did not have a dog and a cat as a pet, so I have been surrounded by them for as long as I can remember. - I moved out of my parents house and now I don’t have a dog of my own. I honestly just need to be around some dogs because they just make me so happy. So, that’s another reason I want to start pet sitting in Lexington! - I am obsessed with dogs and cats because they are so cute and lovable. - I've dog-sat and cat-sat before and loved it. I have work during the day, but am available after 5pm and all day on the weekends. I can stop by before work, during my lunch, and anytime after I get off. I can also work from home if needed if your pet requires more frequent walks / check ins. I am very flexible, so whenever I am needed, I can most likely be there. I am able to do whatever is needed. I am totally a dog and cat person so I will be very happy just being in the presence of either. I can take them on several walks, show them love, cuddle with them and play with them.

About: I have 7 years experience in everything animals! exotic too! i’m reliable, timely, and organized! i can accommodate to all needs! whether that’s hand feeding, some anxiety, medical issues or administration of medicine, i can handle it all no matter the age or breed. i work full time as a Security Officer but my schedule is very set most days of the week with the occasional weekend shift once a month. but i will work very hard with you to account for any need you have! all animals have their own personality just like children! i wanna get to know your baby and find out what makes them happiest to ensure smooth and easy transition and a good bond! if they have a favorite toy, are food motivated, etc.

About: Hi I’m Raquel ! I’ve been in a home of pet lovers and care takers my whole life! My mom is a dog groomer and I’ve handled and cuddled all dogs and cats of all sizes & have watched & learned to care for every ones extended families (fur babies)! With a small old dog of my own I’ve been able to experience a full spectrum of dog parenting and would love to take care of your pets so you can rest and relax knowing they’re in good hands :) I teach yoga a few hours a week and enjoy getting steps in and hanging with dog friends in the between, this let’s me continue my yoga gig and do something else I love too! I try to stay as close as I can to the routine of the animal and what’s “normal” for them and comforting them while owners are away. And maybe a few extra treats ;) near our home is a dog park + plenty of space to roam for in-home pet visits as well!
