I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was born, I love playing, walking and just handing out with them! Also i know the hardships it takes. I am a very available person, I do have a part time job but other than that I’m very free. I usually work a few hours every other day. I love going on runs which I enjoy very much to take a dog on, this could be a short walk or a hike! I’m very active but always love bringing animals with me even if it’s just to get a pup cup or play at a park!!! I currently have 3 dogs, and I watch my sister dog on occasion. About: I am a high school math teacher who has some extra love to give. I have owned at least one at a time dog since I was about 5 years old. I currently have 3 adorable dogs (11 years, 5 years and 4 years old) and would have more if I had a bigger house. I also live with my Husband Chris and 2 yr old Daughter Mariah. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid. I’ve cared for friends and families dogs of all sizes and ages. I currently have a female American bully but in the past I’ve had English mastiffs, pit bulls, and a border collie. I enjoy high energy dogs that love to run and play as well as older dogs that just want to play around and be loved on. I’m currently on summer break. I am an athlete at Eastern Kentucky University and have required practices every day but I’m gone no longer than 3 hours per day. About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience! I am a responsible pet owner of (3) small dogs. I do have basic training experience and have crate trained all three of my dogs successfully (after many sleepless nights of course). I work from home full-time so I am always at home and available for drop ins, doggy day care, or boarding! My house has a fenced in yard and all three of my dogs are up to date on vaccinations, including Bordetella. I also walk our dogs daily (weather permitting) so you can ensure your little one will get exercise, if they would like it that is! I have also fostered rescue dogs previously through Paws 4 a Cause in Lexington. I am an avid animal lover and will treat your dog as one of my own. Please note: due to my dogs being smaller (all under 25 pounds) I wont be able to accept dogs larger than 30-40 pounds. My dogs are tough and love to play, but we want to avoid any play injuries! I work from home full-time so I will be available throughout the day for your pet. I am able to let your pet out, or drop by and check on your pets many times throughout the day. Even when my schedule is busy I still usually have time to step away for pet care! I care for the pets in my home by keeping a watchful eye over them. They have access to our backyard and I ensure to step out and check on them often. I know what foods are safe for dogs and what foods are dangerous. My dogs are on different medications (for allergies), so I am well versed on giving oral medications if needed as well. About: I’ve been an avid animal lover since I was a kid. I have worked with and been around a wide variety of animals including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, fish, ferrets and more. Not only do my own animals rely on me for quality care, I have had the pleasure of caring for other animals while friends and family are away. Currently I am the owner of 4 dogs, 26 chickens and 9 ducks. Every morning before work I make sure all of my animals have food and water, as well as making sure my dogs get all of their daily vitamins and dental sticks. Additionally my dogs get monthly flea/tick prevention and heart worm prevention. Right now this will just be a part time job but I am hoping to expand and make this my full time and only job. Currently I have open availability on weekends as well as morning and night availability throughout the week. Caring for pets is a big responsibility and I take pride in knowing animals will be safe with me. At the beginning of booking with me I would set up a meet and greet to make sure your pets are comfortable with me. After doing so, we would begin services. During services I will make sure to closely monitor your pets, keep them leashed while not in a fenced in area, keep away from road ways and other - potentially dangerous animals. I would also ensure timely medication, feeding, and watering schedules.
About: I have been taking care of animals for as long a so can remember. Growing up wi would always take care of neighbors cats while they were out of town, and now I dog sit, cat sit for family friends. I have also taken care of a wide variety of animals. I am an active person so I will walk your dog, run with your dog, take your dog to the dog park, or even go on hikes with your dog. Of course it is all up to you and I will not do anything the owners are not comfortable with. I love all kinds of animals and their safety is my top priority. I currently am a full time student so I am trying to prioritize my school over a part time job. I am free almost every day of the week depending on the week, and I am flexible with hours. Your pet and their safety is my biggest priority. Every pet varies on how they need to be taken care of as well as different safety measures needed to be taken. I cannot have pets stay at my own house because there is not a fence and there are a lot of people living in my house so the environment may not be the best for the animals because of all the noise.

About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.
About: Ever since I was a baby I have had a dog in my household. As soon as I could get a dog of my own I got Bentley, my German Shepherd/Coon Hound mix. I adopted him at only 6 weeks old back in 2020. Growing up neighbors would ask me to cat sit when they were on vacation which included changing litter, feeding, and playing with the cat daily. Additionally, I have been asked to help walk dogs and to house sit in the past! I live in the Hamburg area and work full time at the University of Kentucky. My traditional work hours are 8am-5pm M-F with an hour lunch break. I would be willing to carve out time in my lunch to walk or care for pets. I do not work weekends, and have the most availability to care for pets during that time! I am extremely trustworthy and will abide by any rules you have for your fur baby. I am experienced with crating, and have no concerns with helping to put your animal back in a crate after caring for it. My fur baby, Bentley, is also extremely dog friendly so if your animal needs socialization with another, I could provide that! Unfortunately, due to the nature of my living environment I cannot board myself as I live in an apartment.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood I’ve had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, parrots and fish in all stages of life. I’ve learned to cater to every need because of this, as every pet needs something specific to their age, size and personality. I can handle pets of all sizes and energy levels, and will treat each just as I would one of my own. I’m a full-time college student home for Summer break, and I have a very open schedule that I would love to fill surrounded by fur babies.
