Can I Pet That Doooog?
Hi, I’m Haley! I’m new to Rover but not new to pet care. I have over 15 years of professional animal care experience for everything between snakes and horses, but my heart will always belong to dogs. I currently have three wonderfully rotten canines: Bat, Honey, and Jonesy. I recently lost my senior dog, Ellie. She had a slew of health problems including Cushing’s and diabetes. Being her mom for 12 years was the greatest gift, but caring for her at the end of her life was the greatest honor. The last few years with her came with its own set of challenges - but it ultimately taught me more about senior dog/special needs care than I ever anticipated. Rest assured I am confident and comfortable with injection medication as long as you point me in the direction of your pets preferred injection site. In addition to my own animals, I spent my youth learning from my aunts in the animal business One is a pet sitter with 30+ years of experience. The other runs a small boarding facility for dogs, horses, cats, and llamas on her 20 acre ranch. Growing up with them I didn’t just learn how to care for animals, I inherited a deeply rooted respect and reverence for them.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in back yard but do not currently offer in-home pet sitting. This is due to my reactive rescue, Honey. She does well with dogs, but I would not feel comfortable having someone else’s baby around her. I want to keep everyone safe! I can come to your home for feedings, potty breaks, playtime, and even have some (limited) availability for overnight stays.

Haley was amazing! She left us a sweet note and candy to welcome us home after a 25.5 hour drive. Above and beyond! 10/10 recommend!
Haley was such a great help. She attended to my dogs and checked in on my other animals. She stayed in contact with me and gave me frequent updates. I would highly recommend Haley!
Haley was awesome again with our very particular and kinda weird cat. I will be contacting her thru Rover first every time we need a pet check-in person. She has seriously set the bar for what our family expects from Rover now. If you're on the fence, don't be.
Haley did an amazing job watching our 2 dogs and 2 cats while on vacation. She was extremely thorough and communicative and felt she genuinely had our pets best interest at heart.
Haley is amazing. We seriously lucked out choosing her to watch Kitty while we were out of town for a week. She had to make two visits a day for wet food and she still took the time to hang out with our cat for a little while each time. 100% will be using Haley for pet check-ins again.

Schedule
I work from home doing RCM, so during my day I am surrounded by my pets. By the time the evening rolls around I am ready to get up and get out - however my pet skills are better than my people skills. Rover has gives me a great opportunity to spend some time speaking my most fluent language: belly rub.
