“Andy did a great job helping Nate feel at home. Nate got snacks he likes and outside breaks that were on his schedule. Andy sent a lot of updates with pictures. Besides the cute pictures, Andy sent me a picture that showed Nate feeling relaxed. Frankly, I was glad Nate still wanted to come home! Andy understands dogs, has an appreciation for the variety of normal dog behavior, and really does love dogs. His daughter also really loves dogs. Although I found Andy through Rover, a mutual friend confirmed that he’s a dog lover and would trust him with her dogs. Knowing that we had mutual friends was literally an answer to prayer. I would definitely trust this family with Nate again.”

“Butterscotch had a great vacation at Cheyenne’s! It was clear from the photos that she was very well taken care of and loved on lots! I super appreciated Cheyenne’s clear communication style and flexibility around my schedule.”

“When we needed a sitter last minute on vacation Emily came to the rescue and was one of the best dog sitters we have ever had. Emily sent pictures through the day, followed all our care instructions and loved our baby like we do.”

“I am so thankful to have found Melody. My dog, Opal, took to her right away, and she LOVES being over there for daycare and overnight stays. The times are super flexible, and I’m thankful to have someone that loves my dog as much as I do! I get pictures and videos on how Opal is doing throughout the day. Definitely the best dog sitter in Lex!”

“Kathryn is amazing! She watched my dog for a weekend and was great about giving daily updates on our girl. We will gladly drive 40 minutes to use her as a sitter in the future! Highly recommended and one of a kind!”

“Madison was amazing!!! Ranger is a very energetic pup and he had the best time with her and her dogs. She worked with all my requests and sent tons of pictures. I would give 10 stars if I could!!! I will definitely recommend her.”

“Great experience! I was recommended by a friend and I will say I am so glad I trusted her to leave my baby with her! She sent so many pictures and gave me updates while I was traveling! Definitely helped ease my nerves. I’ve never left my girl behind. I know my baby had a great time and the fact that she got to socialize and meet other dogs was even better! Thank you so much Ann!”

“Drop off and pick up was so nice and easy. Most of all I appreciated picking up my gal and seeing how relaxed and loved on she'd been. My girl will be anxious for hours if she's been alone or stressed, but she was perfectly relaxed and happy! So thankful!”

“Jennifer is so thorough, and she and her dog have provided a delightful environment for Lulu to play, rest and enjoy herself! Lulu highly recommends her! (Told me so herself!)”

“Sandra is always a wonderful sitter for our German Shepherd, but this time she really went above and beyond. Due to complications with our daughter’s birth, we were at the hospital for quite some time. Sandra offered to keep our shepherd for an extended period of time without issue. I also cannot thank her and her family enough for the kindness they demonstrated during this incredibly stressful time. I recommend Sandra without reservation.”

“Erin as very accommodating. Responded promptly to all messages. Sent pictures and took very good care of our little puppy. I was very thankful to have her watch our fur baby and when we go out of town again she will be our first choice!!”

“This was Lucy’s second time staying with Brooke and Jason’s family. We knew she was in great hands getting lots of attention and lap snuggles from everyone. We would recommend Brooke and Jason to anyone looking for a great sitter. So happy to have found them.”

“Megan takes such good care of Sophie! Sophie is on more meds now that she’s older and Megan is so good about asking any questions and keeping up with the medication chart. We were unable to fly home after the Caribbean air space was shut down and Megan kept Sophie even longer until we returned. We appreciated it so much. We will definitely book with Megan again!”

“I recently took a trip overseas and had to leave my cat home for a week. This is the first time I've been away from her for more than one or two days, so I was very nervous. I can say with utmost confidence that I wouldn't have enjoyed my vacation as much as I did without Tessa's help. Nymeria's not been around many people other than myself, so I knew it'd be difficult for her to adjust to someone else, but Tessa was incredibly patient and understanding with her. She never tried to push Nymeria's boundaries and always made sure each visit was as stress free as possible. Even though the area where I live was going through nasty weather, Tessa made sure I got to see some photos and videos of my cat each day during her visit. Knowing that Tessa was making sure Nymeria was well fed, had plenty of water, and a clean litter box lifted such a weight off my shoulders. Not to mention Tessa also works at a veterinarian clinic! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to watch over my fussy cat when I couldn't be there. Honestly I can't thank Tessa enough!”

“Candace is absolutely amazing!! She took care of my two guinea pigs while I was out of the country for three weeks! She gave great updates and sent me photos that really helped when I was missing my babies 💕”

“Rachael was great! She accommodated us last minute. She was friendly, responded promptly, followed instructions, and sent photos and updates daily. She even checked our mail for us because I forgot to put it on hold. I would definitely recommend her!”
“Mindy was excellent! She came to feed ike and do litter while we were gone in Florida...she was very professional and took great care of him...he loved her from the start..she took a great photo of him rubbing on her leg which made us feel good....thank you again! It was our first time using rover and it was awesome! Highly recommend the app and Mindy!!”

“Cindy was reliable, responsive and took good care of our house full of cats while we were away. She sent pics and updates and even did a few dishes that were in the sink. We would have her sit again. Thanks Cindy!”

“I would highly recommend Tyler to take care of your pets. He not only fed my cats but also put food out for deer and birds (which i do) while i was away and gave me twice daily updates. I live in a remote area as well. Your pets are in safe and reliable hands with Tyler, i highly recommend him.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—I’ve never known a home without a dog. Growing up, I had the opportunity to care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic Jack Russell Terriers to loyal Labrador Retrievers and loving Pitbulls. I was always involved in their daily care, whether it was taking them on walks, feeding them, or making sure they stayed up to date with vet visits. My love for animals has only grown over the years. Two years ago, I adopted my dog, Russell, from a shelter, and he has been my loyal companion ever since. I also have two cats, Chief and Reid, who keep life interesting and have taught me even more about pet care. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’m truly passionate about. I love making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. As a part-time Graduate Assistant, I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day to care for and play with your pups, especially on the weekends! As a dog owner myself, I know what it's like to worry about your pet while gone. I will ensure pets are fed, exercised, and groomed according to their needs. I provide loving companionship, and follow specific care instructions for each pet’s well being and comfort.

About: I’ve been caring for cats for over ten years, including my own at home. I’m experienced in administering medications and supporting cats with a range of needs. I’ve also cared for an injured rescue cat who required more intensive support, including assisted feeding, which gave me experience with attentive, hands-on care and close monitoring. I understand that every cat has a unique personality, and I take the time to build trust—whether that means engaging with playful, social cats or giving space to those who are more shy or independent.

About: I have been around cats my whole life and am passionate about caring for them! I truly believe pets are family and I know how hard it can be to leave your babies home, that is why I am dedicated to providing quality, exceptional care and tons of loving to your furbabies to help you feel as at ease as possible. I promise to go above and beyond to ensue your kitties are happy & content during their staycation! I have 5 furbabies of my own: 2 pups, 1 kitty, and 2 free roam bunnies! They are my whole world. I am also one of the founders of a 501c3 cat rescue and am passionate about saving the lives of animals in need! In the past 2 years, I have helped to rescue over 200 kitties. I always work diligently and patiently to earn their trust and nurse them back to health. Through my work in rescue, I have experience with kitties of all temperaments and more than comfortable caring for anxious or afraid kitties and helping them to feel comfy around me. I can provide medication administration and am experienced caring for senior, special needs, or fearful kitties. I will take my time earning their trust and love to build positive relationships with all of the cats I care for. I don't mind getting my hands dirty to clean up any accidents either. Your babies come first and I can't wait to get to meet them!
“Selah did a fantastic job. This was our first time using rover and she did not disappoint. She kept me well informed of messes, updates and earned our dogs trust. She even picked up our trash cans when the wind blew them over. Highly recommend using her to care for your fur baby.”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every cat like they’re my own. I understand that every cat has a different personality and comfort level, so I’m patient with shy cats, playful with social ones, and attentive to senior or anxious pets. I’m comfortable administering medications when needed and paying close attention to routines, behavior changes, and overall well-being. I also genuinely care about cleanliness — especially deep-cleaning litter boxes and keeping your home smelling fresh and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to make both cats and their owners feel relaxed, safe, and cared for from the moment I walk in the door. 🐾

“When I was planning a trip out of town and my original sitter fell through, Heather was able to make availability short notice. She took excellent care of my kitty, giving me updates and pictures every day. She definitely went above and beyond and I felt so much better about being away knowing that she was taking care of my old man cat.”

“I recently moved from NY to KY and was in need of someone to help care for my four dogs. I had spoken to many people and wasn’t comfortable with anyone as I had my prior dog walker in Ny for over 10 years. I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . She helps with my dogs that have medical issues and she is always there when and if I need her. She takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I’ve never had to worry about them when I’m away. She is an absolute god send and I highly recommend her!”

About: I've literally taken care of cats forever. Plus, I have three of my own cats who were all strays and had several medically complex issues upon bringing them home, so I am well versed with proper treatment of even the sickest of fur babes!
About: My wife and I live on a farm with plenty to explore! I’m a full-time teacher, which means patience, consistency, and understanding individual needs are a big part of who I am. I bring that same approach to pet care. I’m reliable, calm, and always focused on keeping pets comfortable, happy, and safe. When your dog is with me, they’re treated like family with plenty of affection, routine, and communication so you feel confident while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our routine. My wife or I are almost always home which allows us to give pets full attention and avoid any rushed or distracted care. We live on a spacious property where dogs have plenty of room to explore, and we make sure outdoor time is always supervised. We use secure tethers and leashes to keep pets safe while still giving them the chance to enjoy fresh air and play. Whether inside or outside, we stay attentive to where the dog is and how they’re doing. Our goal is a calm, safe environment where pets can relax, stretch their legs, and feel comfortable and cared for.

About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.

“Cheyenne took wonderful care of our Jax. He had a blast playing with her dogs and made a new friend, Romero. Her kids took to him right away. As labs do, he got muddy and she went over and above by bathing him. She sent frequent pics and videos of him playing. We will definitely use her again if we are in the area again.”

I would also ensure timely medication, feeding, and watering schedules.

“Tiffany has been wonderful with Sable and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. She was always kind, attentive, and thoughtful during her visits, and Sable enjoyed her time with her. Tiffany communicated openly and honestly when her availability changed, which I truly appreciated, and she even offered to continue helping while we transition to another walker. I’m grateful for the care she provided and wish her all the best moving forward.”

“Mindy is a true blessing to our group of 3 pups. My rescue who is scared of everyone and everything looks for weds to her walks with Mindy. Can’t recommend her enough!”

“Kailey has been a great walker for Sable. She’s punctual, consistent, and very easy to coordinate with. She provides peace of mind through solid communication and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. I’m very happy with her service and would recommend her without hesitation.”

I promise to go above and beyond to ensue your pets are happy & content during their staycation! I have 7 furbabies of my own: 3 pups, 2 kitties, and 2 free roam bunnies! They are my whole world. I am also one of the founders of a 501c3 cat rescue and am passionate about saving the lives of animals in need! I have previous professional experience working in a cat/dog boarding & daycare facility as well as currently as a dog bather in a salon. I can provide medication administration and am comfortable caring for pets with special needs as well as seniors and anxious/fearful babies. I will take my time earning their trust and love to build positive relationships with all of the animals I care for. I don't mind getting my hands dirty to clean up any accidents either. Your babies come first and I can't wait to get to meet them! I am currently working 8 hours Wednesday through Saturday so I’m available for morning/evening drop offs those days and am completely free Sunday through Tuesday to care for your furbabies! The safety and comfort of your furbabies is my number 1 priority! My care will be tailored to your pets and their routines to help them feel as at ease as possible. I also love to keep parents updated and have a passion for photography, so I'll be sure to send you cute pics and videos of your babies!
About: Hello!! My name is Abby I am a senior at EKU majoring in animal and veterinary sciences, I am studying to become a veterinarian. I currently work at a veterinary clinic as a veterinary technician. I have a strong passion for animals and will make sure that your pet is taken care of while you are away :) I’m looking for a little side job from working at the veterinary clinic to make a little extra money and also broaden my experience of working with animals for my veterinary school applications. I am available anytime :) I had 3 dogs growing up and I currently own a 6 month old golden retriever lab mix named Beau. i know how to take care of your fur baby like it was my own and i can assure you your fur baby will be taken care of :)
About: One of the hardest things to do is trust someone to care for your pet, to make them feel safe, and treat them as family members while you’re away. That is the care I strive for with every visit! Because being away from your hoomans can feel uncertain, I provide extra play time and extra love. I also clean up their messes—if there are any, and I’m happy to help with the occasional chore when you have to be away for more than a couple of days! I am also committed to working closely with you to provide tailored care and companionship. I provide clear communication, pictures of your babies with each visit. I bring experience caring for pets of all ages—from playful youngsters to wise seniors—along with expertise in administering medications and supporting animals with special needs. Note: I’m no longer able to offer boarding services. One of my own sweet boys is getting up in years—he’s a little more fragile, and a little less patient than he once was, and I worry that boarding a stranger would cause him a lot of unnecessary stress. I work from home — this allows me some flexibility and the ability to customize my breaks and lunch based on the needs of my clients. When caring for pets in the home of my clients, it’s important to remember that the little one that I’m caring for is likely stressed because their mom and/or dad are gone, and there is a stranger (me) in their home. With that in mind, I typically spend more time with them than what is required by Rover because they need the extra time to feel comfortable with me. I take time to try to get to know them and help them feel more at ease. I treat them with the same amount of compassion I want for my own!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my patience, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals of all personalities. I have two labs and two cats of my own, including a rescue we welcomed into our home, so I understand how important trust, routine, and a calm environment are for pets. I successfully introduced all of our animals and helped them learn to coexist comfortably, which gave me valuable experience with animal behavior, slow introductions, and reading body language. I’m comfortable caring for both energetic and anxious pets, and I take pride in making animals feel safe, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away. I also genuinely enjoy the little things that make a difference — keeping spaces clean, deep-cleaning litter boxes, sticking to routines, and giving pets individualized attention based on their needs and personalities. 🐾 Pet care is already a huge part of my daily life, so caring for other animals fits naturally into my routine. Between my two labs and two cats, I’m used to managing feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cleaning, and making sure each pet gets individual attention and affection every day. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care never feels like a chore to me — it’s something that brings me peace and happiness. I’m someone who pays attention to the little details, whether that’s noticing changes in behavior, keeping litter boxes and living spaces clean, or helping pets feel comfortable and safe in their own environment. My schedule allows me to be dependable, communicative, and consistent with the care I provide, which I know is important when someone is trusting me with a beloved pet.
“Selah has been an absolute blessing to work with. She is kind, reliable, communicative, and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. From the very first interaction, it was clear that she approaches her work with intention, patience, and compassion. My dog, Sable, was always well cared for and comfortable in her presence, which meant a great deal to me. Selah was respectful of schedules, attentive to details, and carried herself with a warm, trustworthy spirit. I would confidently recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet with true care and integrity. God bless you, Selah, and thank you for everything.”

About: I discovered pet sitting back in the early 90s (pre-internet); I ran across an ad in the newspaper for pet sitters needed for a great lady that had a Pet Nanny franchise. That was the most fun, and most rewarding job. The most amazing thing I did while in her employ was help a Basset Hound regain the use of his legs. One of my twice-weekly duties was to go over to "Kip's house," and perform physical therapy - which was simply moving all four legs in a prescribed way, for a prescribed period of time. I was so skeptical that it could work, but diligently performed the movements. I left for the birth of my oldest son before Kip's therapy concluded, but with all the people Kip's owner had hired to come in and do this consistently over several months, I was delighted to learn that he began walking again. I stopped pet sitting with the birth of my first son. Now that our sons are both grown and gone, and we work from home and my availability is flexible, it's time to jump back in! I grew up with cats, and Labs. And all the snakes, toads, and other things I could find outside. I also love and have owned (and miss) horses. I've also raised Leopard Geckos and had various other reptiles, and snakes. We currently have two dogs, two cats, and a crested gecko at home. I'm available for cat sitting, dog walks, and drop-in visits. I work from home with a flexible schedule. Not available for overnights/house sitting, as my babies (husband included) need me. Being a home and pet owner myself, security, attention, and comfort are a top priority. It's vital to me to care for others' pets (and homes) as I would my own. I'm older, and neurotic about proper care and attention. I would love to hear about your routines, so I can know what they expect, and try to replicate as best I can.
“Alicia is not just dog walker, she really put in the work to form a fast bond with my pup and is always looking for ways to make or keep her happy and feeling safe. I guarantee it's my pup's favorite time of day when Alicia stops by.”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages. What sets me apart is that I provide a loving family environment where dogs are treated like members of the family. My home is full of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and we take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I am comfortable following feeding schedules, administering most basic medications, caring for senior dogs, and helping reinforce routines and good behaviors. My two kids also love dogs and enjoy giving them extra attention and playtime, helping create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every furry guest. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for in a safe, loving home where they will receive plenty of attention and affection. 🐾 I am currently in nursing school only 2 days a week and my husband works for a healthcare company from home so someone will always be there for your pup. I treat animals as if they are my own children. I will keep them safe and satisfied while you are away so you can have a peace of mind wherever you go.
“Addie is fantastic!! We met her twice before we left town just to be sure things were all set— and our dog loves her. We were flexible about where she stayed with our dog- her house or ours- because we were gone for 16 days. She did everything she could to make sure we were comfortable with her. She sent pictures, responded quickly to texts, and Levi’s know how everything was going. Additionally, Addie is a genuinely nice person who is driven in her work as a dancer. We were very impressed with her. We are looking forward to many more trips, knowing our dog is safe and well loved in our absence.”

“We went out of town for a week leaving our one year old Bulldog with Nef. He came to meet our dog and even accommodated transportation. My dog is very picky on who she likes however it was love from first sight. This was the first time we had to board our dog and now we have our go to person for life. Thanks Nef for the outstanding service!”

“Brian clearly treated our beagle very well! He gave her plenty of exercise (which she needs), and kept us appraised on how she was doing. A very good caregiver, all in all!”

“We could tell our pup was in good hands with Kelsey. She sent me detailed updates daily and pictures too. Our dog is not the best eater and she worked with her to be sure she ate. She also took our pup for walks and played with her. We really appreciate her taking such good care of our pup while we were away!”

“Audrey and Samuel are amazing they always take great care of my pups! Our dogs are a handful but they love having them and the dogs always get so excited when we turn down their street!”

“Kath and Jordan took wonderful care of our pup. They were so kind and communicative throughout his stay. Luigi is a very high energy little guy and they welcomed him with open arms! We would 100% not hesitate to rebook.”
