“I recently took a trip overseas and had to leave my cat home for a week. This is the first time I've been away from her for more than one or two days, so I was very nervous. I can say with utmost confidence that I wouldn't have enjoyed my vacation as much as I did without Tessa's help. Nymeria's not been around many people other than myself, so I knew it'd be difficult for her to adjust to someone else, but Tessa was incredibly patient and understanding with her. She never tried to push Nymeria's boundaries and always made sure each visit was as stress free as possible. Even though the area where I live was going through nasty weather, Tessa made sure I got to see some photos and videos of my cat each day during her visit. Knowing that Tessa was making sure Nymeria was well fed, had plenty of water, and a clean litter box lifted such a weight off my shoulders. Not to mention Tessa also works at a veterinarian clinic! About: My wife and I live on a farm with plenty to explore! I’m a full-time teacher, which means patience, consistency, and understanding individual needs are a big part of who I am. I bring that same approach to pet care. I’m reliable, calm, and always focused on keeping pets comfortable, happy, and safe. When your dog is with me, they’re treated like family with plenty of affection, routine, and communication so you feel confident while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into our routine. My wife or I are almost always home which allows us to give pets full attention and avoid any rushed or distracted care. We live on a spacious property where dogs have plenty of room to explore, and we make sure outdoor time is always supervised. We use secure tethers and leashes to keep pets safe while still giving them the chance to enjoy fresh air and play. Whether inside or outside, we stay attentive to where the dog is and how they’re doing. About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was born, I love playing, walking and just handing out with them! Also i know the hardships it takes. I am a very available person, I do have a part time job but other than that I’m very free. I usually work a few hours every other day. About: I’ve taken care of dogs practically my whole life. It’s one of my greatest passions and most of my life I would dogsit for anyone who would let me growing up. I would love to make sure all of the animals are safe and well cared for while their owners are gone. I currently go to school and work part time, but there is most certainly time for me to fit in helping these families with their animals when they need it. I do live in an apartment complex but I have many years of experience with walking dogs of all kinds so I could walk it when needed. About: I’ve had the responsibility of taking care of over 20 pets of my own since I was young. I have a deep love for animals and understand that each dog has its own unique pet care needs. About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.

About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

About: I’ve been an avid animal lover since I was a kid. I have worked with and been around a wide variety of animals including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, fish, ferrets and more. Not only do my own animals rely on me for quality care, I have had the pleasure of caring for other animals while friends and family are away. Every morning before work I make sure all of my animals have food and water, as well as making sure my dogs get all of their daily vitamins and dental sticks. Currently I have open availability on weekends as well as morning and night availability throughout the week. At the beginning of booking with me I would set up a meet and greet to make sure your pets are comfortable with me. After doing so, we would begin services. During services I will make sure to closely monitor your pets, keep them leashed while not in a fenced in area, keep away from road ways and other - potentially dangerous animals. About: One of the hardest things to do is trust someone to care for your pet, to make them feel safe, and treat them as family members while you’re away. That is the care I strive for with every visit! Because being away from your hoomans can feel uncertain, I provide extra play time and extra love. I also clean up their messes—if there are any, and I’m happy to help with the occasional chore when you have to be away for more than a couple of days! I am also committed to working closely with you to provide tailored care and companionship. I provide clear communication, pictures of your babies with each visit. I bring experience caring for pets of all ages—from playful youngsters to wise seniors—along with expertise in administering medications and supporting animals with special needs. Note: I’m no longer able to offer boarding services. One of my own sweet boys is getting up in years—he’s a little more fragile, and a little less patient than he once was, and I worry that boarding a stranger would cause him a lot of unnecessary stress. I work from home — this allows me some flexibility and the ability to customize my breaks and lunch based on the needs of my clients. When caring for pets in the home of my clients, it’s important to remember that the little one that I’m caring for is likely stressed because their mom and/or dad are gone, and there is a stranger (me) in their home. With that in mind, I typically spend more time with them than what is required by Rover because they need the extra time to feel comfortable with me. I take time to try to get to know them and help them feel more at ease. I treat them with the same amount of compassion I want for my own!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16. My friends and family have relied on me to watch and care for their best friends during overnight trips and weeks away from home! I’m currently working part time. My schedule depends on my clients needs! I’m usually open Monday through Friday depending on the week. My schedule is first come first serve. About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.

About: I discovered pet sitting back in the early 90s (pre-internet); I ran across an ad in the newspaper for pet sitters needed for a great lady that had a Pet Nanny franchise. That was the most fun, and most rewarding job. The most amazing thing I did while in her employ was help a Basset Hound regain the use of his legs. One of my twice-weekly duties was to go over to "Kip's house," and perform physical therapy - which was simply moving all four legs in a prescribed way, for a prescribed period of time. I was so skeptical that it could work, but diligently performed the movements. I left for the birth of my oldest son before Kip's therapy concluded, but with all the people Kip's owner had hired to come in and do this consistently over several months, I was delighted to learn that he began walking again. I stopped pet sitting with the birth of my first son. Now that our sons are both grown and gone, and we work from home and my availability is flexible, it's time to jump back in! I grew up with cats, and Labs. And all the snakes, toads, and other things I could find outside. I also love and have owned (and miss) horses. I've also raised Leopard Geckos and had various other reptiles, and snakes. We currently have two dogs, two cats, and a crested gecko at home. I'm available for cat sitting, dog walks, and drop-in visits. I work from home with a flexible schedule. Not available for overnights/house sitting, as my babies (husband included) need me.
