About: I’ve taken care of dogs practically my whole life. It’s one of my greatest passions and most of my life I would dogsit for anyone who would let me growing up. I would love to make sure all of the animals are safe and well cared for while their owners are gone. I currently go to school and work part time, but there is most certainly time for me to fit in helping these families with their animals when they need it. I do live in an apartment complex but I have many years of experience with walking dogs of all kinds so I could walk it when needed. As for as toys, a crate or bedding at my apartment, I don’t have much of that, but could get some if needed.

“I recently moved from NY to KY and was in need of someone to help care for my four dogs. I had spoken to many people and wasn’t comfortable with anyone as I had my prior dog walker in Ny for over 10 years. I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . She helps with my dogs that have medical issues and she is always there when and if I need her. She takes care of my dogs as if they were her own and I’ve never had to worry about them when I’m away. About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.

About: Im here to help offer the most relaxing experience for your animal. Also to assure that your animal feels at home and is getting the personal care that each individual animal needs. I do have 2 loving animals, a golden retriever and a corgi here in the home. There is always a family member here on the property full time. I have a large property for the animals to roam and a large section of it is fenced in. I love going on walks and doing outdoor activities and hope you choose to let your animals have a fun experience with our family. 😁 I run a business from the home. I'm always here and have lot of time to play catch! We're available for holidays and extended stays! I have a large fenced in yard with two loving dogs that love to play with other puppies. I live in a quiet subdivision in the country with lots of trees, grass and fresh air. If your animal feels more comfortable in a crate, I do have those options, but would prefer them to be able to roam free in the household.

About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. They had grandkids to see and wanted to explore as many different countries as they could. They used to say, "Maggie, you are so convenient, and I am glad that you are here so we can leave and do things that we love more often." My mom never once told me to go and do my job. I woke up and was ready to go see Bootsy and Bella. They moved when I was 16, and I was their sitter until the day they left. I realized that for people to do the things they loved, they needed an easy, stress-free, and affordable sitter for their animals. Anyway, I started a show kennel for my Italian Greyhounds because of her, and now this is my full-time gig. I run a full-time boarding and daycare facility at my house. I am open for boarding and daycare 7 days a week. I own show dogs, and so I am home training and working on my websites while the dogs have multiple areas and an outdoor fenced area to play. I work on my computer for 3-5 hours a day and play with and walk the dogs while I rotate in between that. I take lots of pictures during the day and have an instagram that I post them on. The dogs rotate among the kitchen, the basement, and the outdoor enclosure. All dogs have access to water 24/7. The outdoor enclosure has a roof, and I run a fan when it is hot, in accordance with USDA guidelines. If the weather is bad, I walk the dogs or just let them play together in the basement or kitchen.

During services I will make sure to closely monitor your pets, keep them leashed while not in a fenced in area, keep away from road ways and other - potentially dangerous animals. About: I discovered pet sitting back in the early 90s (pre-internet); I ran across an ad in the newspaper for pet sitters needed for a great lady that had a Pet Nanny franchise. That was the most fun, and most rewarding job. The most amazing thing I did while in her employ was help a Basset Hound regain the use of his legs. One of my twice-weekly duties was to go over to "Kip's house," and perform physical therapy - which was simply moving all four legs in a prescribed way, for a prescribed period of time. I was so skeptical that it could work, but diligently performed the movements. I left for the birth of my oldest son before Kip's therapy concluded, but with all the people Kip's owner had hired to come in and do this consistently over several months, I was delighted to learn that he began walking again. I stopped pet sitting with the birth of my first son. Now that our sons are both grown and gone, and we work from home and my availability is flexible, it's time to jump back in! I grew up with cats, and Labs. And all the snakes, toads, and other things I could find outside. I also love and have owned (and miss) horses. I've also raised Leopard Geckos and had various other reptiles, and snakes. We currently have two dogs, two cats, and a crested gecko at home. I'm available for cat sitting, dog walks, and drop-in visits. I work from home with a flexible schedule. Not available for overnights/house sitting, as my babies (husband included) need me. Being a home and pet owner myself, security, attention, and comfort are a top priority. It's vital to me to care for others' pets (and homes) as I would my own. I'm older, and neurotic about proper care and attention. I would love to hear about your routines, so I can know what they expect, and try to replicate as best I can.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid. I’ve cared for friends and families dogs of all sizes and ages. I currently have a female American bully but in the past I’ve had English mastiffs, pit bulls, and a border collie. I enjoy high energy dogs that love to run and play as well as older dogs that just want to play around and be loved on. I am currently a student athlete at EKU so I’m normally at the school early in the mornings with breaks throughout the day then finished around 2pm. I currently live in an apartment. I also have one friendly and very active pup to keep yours company. I will always be outside with the pups they are never out there alone.

About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.

Jazzy struggles with separation anxiety and Cassie was able to give her ample amounts of attention and take her on long walks while we are at work during the day. She will send you pictures throughout the day and goes above and beyond to take care of your dog. We trust Cassie to come in our home and spend time with Jazzy, and she even makes her own dog treats and left us a wonderful gift. About: I have been training dogs since I was 12 and sitting for 6 years now. I find the most joy in being with animals of all kinds. My experience doesn’t stop at dogs. I have cared for cats, horses, chickens, ducks, bunnies, fish, and so many more. I just moved to the area and I am trying to build up my clientele again. My schedule is pretty wide open right now as I wait for my next training in May 2027. My home is not conducive to boarding other peoples animals but I will happily care for them in the comfort of their own home where they are comfortable and have everything they need, while I pour my time and energy into them!
About: I have cared for animals since I was 10 years old! No animal is to big or small for me! Neighbors , friends , and family have relied on me to watch , bathe , feed , and play with their pets . I also have a 2 year old super active border collie and a 3 month old German Shorthair Pointer both are loved and spoiled! I am free during the week from 4:30 - 9 pm ! And 9am-8pm on weekends!
