“Tiffany has been fantastic! She's friendly, reliable, and has made our lives so much easier. Knowing our pup Ferdinand is in good hands with her gives us peace of mind every time.”

“Alicia is not just dog walker, she really put in the work to form a fast bond with my pup and is always looking for ways to make or keep her happy and feeling safe. I guarantee it's my pup's favorite time of day when Alicia stops by.”

About: I discovered pet sitting back in the early 90s (pre-internet); I ran across an ad in the newspaper for pet sitters needed for a great lady that had a Pet Nanny franchise. That was the most fun, and most rewarding job. The most amazing thing I did while in her employ was help a Basset Hound regain the use of his legs. One of my twice-weekly duties was to go over to "Kip's house," and perform physical therapy - which was simply moving all four legs in a prescribed way, for a prescribed period of time. I was so skeptical that it could work, but diligently performed the movements. I left for the birth of my oldest son before Kip's therapy concluded, but with all the people Kip's owner had hired to come in and do this consistently over several months, I was delighted to learn that he began walking again. I stopped pet sitting with the birth of my first son. Now that our sons are both grown and gone, and we work from home and my availability is flexible, it's time to jump back in! I grew up with cats, and Labs. And all the snakes, toads, and other things I could find outside. I also love and have owned (and miss) horses. I've also raised Leopard Geckos and had various other reptiles, and snakes. We currently have two dogs, two cats, and a crested gecko at home. I'm available for cat sitting, dog walks, and drop-in visits. I work from home with a flexible schedule. Not available for overnights/house sitting, as my babies (husband included) need me. Being a home and pet owner myself, security, attention, and comfort are a top priority. It's vital to me to care for others' pets (and homes) as I would my own. I'm older, and neurotic about proper care and attention. I would love to hear about your routines, so I can know what they expect, and try to replicate as best I can.
About: I’ve been an avid animal lover since I was a kid. I have worked with and been around a wide variety of animals including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, fish, ferrets and more. Not only do my own animals rely on me for quality care, I have had the pleasure of caring for other animals while friends and family are away. Currently I am the owner of 4 dogs, 26 chickens and 9 ducks. Every morning before work I make sure all of my animals have food and water, as well as making sure my dogs get all of their daily vitamins and dental sticks. Additionally my dogs get monthly flea/tick prevention and heart worm prevention. Right now this will just be a part time job but I am hoping to expand and make this my full time and only job. Currently I have open availability on weekends as well as morning and night availability throughout the week. Caring for pets is a big responsibility and I take pride in knowing animals will be safe with me. At the beginning of booking with me I would set up a meet and greet to make sure your pets are comfortable with me. After doing so, we would begin services. During services I will make sure to closely monitor your pets, keep them leashed while not in a fenced in area, keep away from road ways and other - potentially dangerous animals. I would also ensure timely medication, feeding, and watering schedules.
“Kailey has been a great walker for Sable. She’s punctual, consistent, and very easy to coordinate with. She provides peace of mind through solid communication and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. I’m very happy with her service and would recommend her without hesitation.”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and ages. What sets me apart is that I provide a loving family environment where dogs are treated like members of the family. My home is full of attention, affection, playtime, and companionship. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and we take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I am comfortable following feeding schedules, administering most basic medications, caring for senior dogs, and helping reinforce routines and good behaviors. My two kids also love dogs and enjoy giving them extra attention and playtime, helping create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every furry guest. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your dog is being cared for in a safe, loving home where they will receive plenty of attention and affection. 🐾 I am currently in nursing school only 2 days a week and my husband works for a healthcare company from home so someone will always be there for your pup. I treat animals as if they are my own children. I will keep them safe and satisfied while you are away so you can have a peace of mind wherever you go.
About: I've taken care of/had the pleasure of sharing my time with the following: dogs, cats, farm animals (horses, cows, chickens, turkeys), snakes, tarantulas and turtles. I've also cared for ill pets/pets with very specific daily routines. My wife and I currently have two loving, energetic dogs (2, 7) and three clingy cats (11, 11, 10). I'm currently very flexible with scheduling as I mostly do contract and-or gig work online. I'm available every day of the week, and generally any time requested. I'll ask questions to determine the level/frequency/type of care your pet requires, and will ask that you're specific in your requests. A meet and greet will be required, barring emergency circumstances.
About: I've taken care of friends and families pets for the past 10 years, I've worked in pet retail for more then 9 years. My growth and passion for animals is every evolving I currently work a full time job, so I have 2 rotating days off a week plus off every night. Schedule and times can always be discussed. I have 8+ years of pet education along with nutrition and training, I have more then 40 hour of positive/ positive reinforcement training to help keep things under control.

“Emily has been walking our dog 3 times a week for a while now. She is reliable, and she's great about communicating any changes in her schedule as well as adjusting to changes in our schedule.”

About: Spent whole life with dogs and cats. Am owner of service dog and work consistently with him daily; therefore, I can participate in any training your pet may be involved in. I am confident with all pets of all ages and happy to take care of your dogs and cats. I am certified cat and dog CPR/First Aid. I am EKU student on summer break so my current schedule is wide open. I plan to continue offering pet care services when school starts up again in the Fall. I have a large, well-fenced yard for your dog to play in, with a few nice shade trees as well. Love taking dogs for walks and our neighborhood is perfect for walking dogs. Dogs can also come inside to enjoy AC if it’s too hot outside. My dog + I are happy to come to your home also, to care for your pets.

About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.
About: I've been working with dogs since I was 9 years old. It started at a summer camp located at my local shelter and at home with our own dogs. At 18 I helped foster 2-week-old kittens that were born in our front yard and abandoned by their mom. I have worked with many different dogs and have been house sitting since I was 16 years old with different types of dogs and different care levels, from needing to give elderly dogs medication to hyper puppies who need lots of play time. I fit in Pet care into my daily routine by waking up at a specific time every morning to take care my own dog out for a morning potty break, then it is breakfast time, then an hour after is a morning walk, after I have lunch is a shorter afternoon walk and before dinner is an evening walk, with several potty breaks scattered reasonably every 3 hours to make sure. Sometimes I take my own dog on small hikes or to the dog park to get some more socialization in. Outside of my hobbies and schooling pet care is my life. This does depend on what I am hired for, if I am hired for potty breaks and play time then I do just that, I arrive at the home, let the dog out to go potty, take a walk play with some toys. If I am housesitting, then I follow the schedule the owners have their dogs on as to not disrupt the dog's stability.
“Molly did a wonderful job caring for Sable. She was dependable, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. I always felt confident that Sable was in good hands, and Molly kept me informed throughout the visits. Sable enjoyed her walks and was always happy and well cared for afterward. I would gladly book with Molly again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog walker.”

About: I have had animals since I was very young. We have had two dogs and many cats in that amount of time! I often watch animals for my friends or family when they are taking short trips or vacations. With over six years of experience in pet sitting and walking, I've cared for a wide range of pets, from energetic puppies to senior cats. My services ensure your furry friends receive the attention, exercise, and love they deserve while you're away. Trustworthy and reliable, I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing peace of mind and happy tails. 🐾❤️ I currently am a student with classes three days a week! I will use pet sitting and other services as a side hustle while I am in school. I can care for pets in either my home or yours, whichever you are most comfortable with! Cannot wait to hear from you guys soon!
“Selah has been an absolute blessing to work with. She is kind, reliable, communicative, and genuinely cares about the animals she looks after. From the very first interaction, it was clear that she approaches her work with intention, patience, and compassion. My dog, Sable, was always well cared for and comfortable in her presence, which meant a great deal to me. Selah was respectful of schedules, attentive to details, and carried herself with a warm, trustworthy spirit. I would confidently recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will treat their pet with true care and integrity. God bless you, Selah, and thank you for everything.”

About: One of the hardest things to do is trust someone to care for your pet, to make them feel safe, and treat them as family members while you’re away. That is the care I strive for with every visit! Because being away from your hoomans can feel uncertain, I provide extra play time and extra love. I also clean up their messes—if there are any, and I’m happy to help with the occasional chore when you have to be away for more than a couple of days! I am also committed to working closely with you to provide tailored care and companionship. I provide clear communication, pictures of your babies with each visit. I bring experience caring for pets of all ages—from playful youngsters to wise seniors—along with expertise in administering medications and supporting animals with special needs. Note: I’m no longer able to offer boarding services. One of my own sweet boys is getting up in years—he’s a little more fragile, and a little less patient than he once was, and I worry that boarding a stranger would cause him a lot of unnecessary stress. I work from home — this allows me some flexibility and the ability to customize my breaks and lunch based on the needs of my clients. When caring for pets in the home of my clients, it’s important to remember that the little one that I’m caring for is likely stressed because their mom and/or dad are gone, and there is a stranger (me) in their home. With that in mind, I typically spend more time with them than what is required by Rover because they need the extra time to feel comfortable with me. I take time to try to get to know them and help them feel more at ease. I treat them with the same amount of compassion I want for my own!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little kid. I grew up with a Yorkie named Simon. Then I adopted my first dog, Sam. She gave me loads of experience in pet ownership and many life lessons. Sam had epilepsy, so I am very skilled in taking care of medically complicated pets. I currently have two dogs: Bella (6 year old hound mix) and Eloise (6 month old Golden Retriever). I am a teacher from August-May. I teach from 8am-3pm and I have no other obligations outside of that. I am of course willing to provide care before 8am and right when I leave school at 3pm. Both of my dogs are crate trained and friendly towards other dogs. For drop in care, I will follow all required and requested directions from the owner. This includes all feeding, potty, medication, grooming, and play needs!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my patience, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals of all personalities. I have two labs and two cats of my own, including a rescue we welcomed into our home, so I understand how important trust, routine, and a calm environment are for pets. I successfully introduced all of our animals and helped them learn to coexist comfortably, which gave me valuable experience with animal behavior, slow introductions, and reading body language. I’m comfortable caring for both energetic and anxious pets, and I take pride in making animals feel safe, loved, and relaxed while their owners are away. I also genuinely enjoy the little things that make a difference — keeping spaces clean, deep-cleaning litter boxes, sticking to routines, and giving pets individualized attention based on their needs and personalities. 🐾 Pet care is already a huge part of my daily life, so caring for other animals fits naturally into my routine. Between my two labs and two cats, I’m used to managing feeding schedules, walks, playtime, cleaning, and making sure each pet gets individual attention and affection every day. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so pet care never feels like a chore to me — it’s something that brings me peace and happiness. I’m someone who pays attention to the little details, whether that’s noticing changes in behavior, keeping litter boxes and living spaces clean, or helping pets feel comfortable and safe in their own environment. My schedule allows me to be dependable, communicative, and consistent with the care I provide, which I know is important when someone is trusting me with a beloved pet.
“We love Allison! Echo and Ollie get SO excited to go on their walks! I can’t recommend her enough! Allison loves and cares for the pups and does a fantastic job! We are very happy!”

Tiffany has been wonderful with Sable and clearly has a genuine love for dogs. She was always kind, attentive, and thoughtful during her visits, and Sable enjoyed her time with her. Tiffany communicated openly and honestly when her availability changed, which I truly appreciated, and she even offered to continue helping while we transition to another walker. I’m grateful for the care she provided and wish her all the best moving forward.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
