“Rachael was great! She accommodated us last minute. She was friendly, responded promptly, followed instructions, and sent photos and updates daily. She even checked our mail for us because I forgot to put it on hold. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Mindy did a wonderful job with all 5 of my kitties. I received daily reports and she went beyond just feeding. I will definitely request her again!!”

“It’s like we never left! Alicia followed every detail precisely, was dependable, and very respectful of our house and cats. She figured out all the nuances of each of my three cats’ personalities and needs. She communicated w us through each visit which was so appreciated and eased my stress. It became clear, that her priority was to be of service- not to just get a job done. I really could go on and on. But coming home to calm cats, house intact, n the peace of mind she gave us each day was priceless to us. I can speak from experience of many failed pet sitter experiences, Alicia is the best! We will be a return customer!!!!”

“I recently took a trip overseas and had to leave my cat home for a week. This is the first time I've been away from her for more than one or two days, so I was very nervous. I can say with utmost confidence that I wouldn't have enjoyed my vacation as much as I did without Tessa's help. Nymeria's not been around many people other than myself, so I knew it'd be difficult for her to adjust to someone else, but Tessa was incredibly patient and understanding with her. She never tried to push Nymeria's boundaries and always made sure each visit was as stress free as possible. Even though the area where I live was going through nasty weather, Tessa made sure I got to see some photos and videos of my cat each day during her visit. Knowing that Tessa was making sure Nymeria was well fed, had plenty of water, and a clean litter box lifted such a weight off my shoulders. Not to mention Tessa also works at a veterinarian clinic! I couldn't have asked for anyone better to watch over my fussy cat when I couldn't be there. Honestly I can't thank Tessa enough!”

“When my shy cat comes out to meet her on day 1 you know she's great! Candace was very responsive, provided photos, even watered my plants! I will def be booking her again.”

“Angela was great! We had a conversation with a pic every time! Second time using this service and both times were fantastic! Recommend Angela again too!”

“Cindy was wonderful with my cat, Snowball! I'd definitely trust her and would recommend her to anyone needing a loving pet sitter!”

“Kailey was awesome! Sammy love her and seem to learn to quit jumping on people while he was there. Definitely will use Kailey again.”

“Excellent communication! Sarah came and did a few drop-in visits while I was out of town. She gave me great updates everyday. Will definitely book with her again!”

About: With over 5 years of hands-on experience as a veterinary and kennel technician, I bring a deep understanding of animal care, behavior, and health to every pet I look after. Animals have always been a huge part of my life – I’ve been involved in animal rescue for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets isn’t just a job to me, it’s a lifelong passion. Whether it’s walking an energetic pup, caring for a senior pet with special needs, or just giving your furry friend some extra love while you’re away, I provide compassionate, reliable, and knowledgeable care every step of the way. You can trust that your pet will be treated like family in my care. I have experience with exotics and farm animals! I also have my wildlife rehabilitation license. Let’s connect – I’d love to meet you and your pets! I have four pets myself. A Chow, a Doberman, and two cats. My “hobbies” and “activities” include animals. I do animal rescue every day of my life, happily. I exercise, hike, or walk the track of Lake Reba every day with my fur babies and would love to take yours! My pets are on a routine. They go outside to the restroom around every 1-4 hours, other than when I am at work. I feed my pets once in the morning and then before bed.. I’m strict and stay on schedule, never late!

“I could tell how much Isabella loves animals and was completely confident that she would take the very best care of my baby girl. Willow was in good hands and I will definitely book Isabella again.”

About: Hi, I’m Haley! I’m new to Rover but not new to pet care. I have over 20 years of animal care experience for everything between snakes and horses, but my heart will always belong to dogs. I grew up with Golden Retrievers and cats in the home, we always had a dog and cat! I have three dogs currently: Honey, Bat, and Jonesy. You can read more about them on my profile! I lost my senior dog, Ellie, in April 2024. She had a slew of health problems including Cushing’s and diabetes. Being her mom for 12 years was the greatest gift, but caring for her at the end of her life was the greatest honor. The last few years with her came with its own set of challenges - but it ultimately taught me more about senior dog/special needs care than I ever anticipated. Rest assured I am confident and comfortable with injection medication as long as you point me in the direction of your pets preferred injection site. In addition to my own animals, I spent my youth learning from my aunts how to care for animals. One is a pet sitter in South Carolina with 30+ years of experience. The other runs a small boarding facility for dogs, horses, cats, and llamas on her 20 acre ranch in Arizona. Growing up with them I didn’t just learn how to care for animals, I inherited a deeply rooted respect and reverence for them. I work from home full time in a very flexible HR management position. I can step away as needed and resume my work anytime, anywhere. I have a fenced in back yard but do not currently offer in-home pet sitting. This is due to my reactive rescue, Honey. She does well with dogs, but I would not feel comfortable having someone else’s baby around her. I want to keep everyone safe! I can come to your home for feedings, potty breaks, playtime, and even have some (limited) availability for overnight stays.

About: Dogs aren’t just pets—they’re family, and that’s exactly how I’ll treat yours. I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience with both playful puppies and seasoned seniors. As a full-time sitter, your dog will get my full attention with frequent walks, fun adventures, and plenty of love and playtime in my yard. I’ll make sure your pup feels safe, happy, and right at home—because when they’re with me, they’re part of the family. As someone who stays home full-time and only works a few days a week, pet care naturally fits into my daily life. I have plenty of time, flexibility, and energy to give each pet personalized attention—whether that means morning walks, medication schedules, playtime in the yard, or just cozy companionship throughout the day. Your pet won’t be left alone or on a tight schedule—they’ll be part of a calm, loving home where their needs come first. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with respect and maintain your pet’s familiar environment to reduce stress. I stick to their usual schedule, including meals, medications, and playtime, while providing companionship and supervision. Whether at your home or mine, your pet’s well-being and happiness are my top priorities.

“Elena is AMAZING!!! She is so sweet, kind, caring, patient and very accommodating. Our dog, Sydney is very shy and nervous around people, but she quickly warmed up to her. Elena took great care of Sydney. She gave detailed feedback, updates and pictures of Sydney during each visit. I will definitely rebook with Elena again. I highly recommend and trust her! Elena is the BEST!!!”

“Always pleased with Finnley’s service! We love knowing we have a reliable person checking in on our cats, and she has such great communication!”

About: Special experience: -bottle feeding babies -medication administration -senior and palliative care -basic dog training (not certified) -caring for injuries and wounds -soothing anxious dogs I don’t just want a side gig watching your animals. I want to connect with and actively have fun with each baby I get to meet. I have had at least 1 pet every moment of my life. I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats and all together live with 3 of each in my current home. Everyone deserves to know their fur babies are safe and happy. I provide consistent updates and pictures as often as you like. Feel free to ask about any special requests, I am quite flexible and am even open to bartering services. We will work together to find something that makes everyone happy! With 6 pets currently under my roof I am already constantly taking care of them in some way. It’s easy for me to add yours without any hiccups. Each pet has their own personality and I find it important to listen to what they are trying to tell me. I can cuddle all day or give lots of space and I have pets that like both so it is easy for me to adjust to varying needs.

About: I have cared for my own dogs and cats for over 40 years. I have not done this professionally, other than helping out friends and families while on vacation. I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet and home is cared for while you are away. If there are gatherings I am usually the one hanging out with the dogs/cats and keeping them at ease when there are a bunch of people around. I am available early mornings and late afternoons and evenings and most weekends I am available any hours...but I have some flexibility to meet other needs. In our yard I try to train them to stay in the yard. I have done leash yard training but typically let them run around. When had a fence yard I typically left my dogs out as much as possible.

About: There has never been a time in my life where I DIDNT have a pet! My family and I move animals, and I’ve been taking care of a large verity of them since I was just seven years old! I have experience with dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, fish, axolotls, and more. Furthermore, I have spent over 100 hours volunteering with animals in my local humane society. I have taken care of pets in all ages, sizes, and species so I am confident I’ll be able to care for any pet you send my way! I’m currently working a part time position so i have plenty of time to spend with your beloved fur babies! My shifts only last 5 to 6 hours on working days so I am able to visit pets frequently! I am more than happy to adapt to whatever care process you want me to enact with your pet! I have lots of experience walking, feeding, and crating dogs. I also have experience caring for dogs on the more aggressive side, and have learned tactics to keep me and the pet safe.

About: I have watched numerous dogs and cats through my life and have enjoyed it every time. I have also helped train multiple dogs! I would love to take care of your animals and I will treat them just like I treat mine! I am a full time college student who only has classes 2 days a week! The longest I would have to be gone would be on Thursdays and Tuesdays for an hour and fifteen minutes twice on those days. I will take care of your animals just like I would my own. Any special requests you have I can adhere to. Every animal is differnet and I understand and respect that. This means I would adapt to whatever your animal may need!

Keyara H.
“Keyara has been an incredible caregiver for my dog, Luna, and I can’t say enough about how thankful I am for her. From the moment they met, Luna took to her instantly — which says a lot, since she’s usually shy around new people. Keyara quickly learned Luna’s routine, from her favorite walking paths to how she likes her food prepared, and always made sure she felt comfortable, safe, and loved. She sent regular updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Her attention to detail, patience, and genuine love for animals truly set her apart. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my furry family member!”

Melissa K.
“Melissa is an sweet and very responsible. Currently she owns 2 dog and 1 cat. One of her dogs was given to her by a couple who said the dogs was amazing, but she ended up having behavioral issues. Missy’s patience and love has paid off and her dogs Percy has stopped destroying things and is much better behaved around strangers. I would totally trust that my animals would be loved and safe in Missy’s care.”
