About: I have been around many different kinds of animals growing up. I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and other small rodents and reptiles. I’m currently working another job full time in the afternoons but I am happy and eager to accept any visits from the early morning until 12:30pm. Overnight visits are also available if I am able to have at least a weeks notice, thank you! As your pet sitter it’s my goal to make sure your pets as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I would love to know their routines and personalities so I can care for them as best as possible!

About: Hello! I have been a dog owner for more than 20 years! I have owned 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, several hamsters and fish! I have owned a dog from birth to death, adopted a senior dog (10 years old) who lived to be 14 and currently own a 5 year old American Staffordshire Terrier. I owned a small dog and 2 large dogs. I'm comfortable with any breed! I currently working full time but due to my flexibility with my schedule, I oftentimes find myself working partly from home almost every work day. I own a dog so I know the importance of fitting their care into my daily life. My dog is allowed on our furniture and is crated at night due to his snoopy nature when no one is looking... I make sure to have play time with the animals as well as lots of cuddle time!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. I used to watch my friends and neighbors dogs when they would go out of town, making sure they get out to use the bathroom and get exercise as well as feed them and take them out for walks. I can administer basic first aid if it’s needed, and am comfortable with giving medicine if they require it. I currently do free lance work from my home, working on my own time as I wish to. I can do morning to to early evening pet care bookings ( 9AM - 5PM) during week days( M - Fr) with availability most the time on weekends unless stated otherwise. Accommodations can be made if they are discussed before bookings are made. I can crate dogs if necessary for any reason, and can take them out to play as well. I have a relatively large house where my pets are free to walk around without worry, none of the pets are stressed and are always relaxing in various areas of the house. Former dogs I have watched and cared for have always enjoyed my company, and never have issue with me.

“Hunter was great with Dot. Very patient and loving. With no fault of his… the snow storm prevented him from doing his walk visit on the 5th. However, We will have and look forward to using Hunter again. Very happy with his communication and commitment.”

“Jess was great! Always communicated with me and gave good notes so I was aware of everything that happened during the visit. I knew my baby was in good hands. I would recommend to anyone and love to book her again!”

“Dean was amazing! I needed someone last minute and he accommodated for my request. Great communicator and my puppy enjoyed their interactions. Will definitely book again!”

About: I’ve had several years of experience with pets of all different kinds. I used to work for a professional pet sitting company, a dog day care, and currently work at a vet clinic. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, reactive dogs, shy dogs, and hyperarousal behavior. I am currently working full time at a local veterinary clinic, and I am pet sitting part time on my days off! I am available on Friday's, some Tuesday's, and some weekends. I do not offer services in my own home as I have two dogs of my own, however I do drop in visits/walks at your home!

About: My family and I have just moved to the Kalamazoo area from Tampa, FL, where I worked as a full-time veterinary assistant for several years. Additionally, I have accumulated hundreds of hours volunteering at animal shelters. Between these two, I have developed skills that allow me to be comfortable caring for all kinds of animals, and allow me to help those with specific needs, such as medication/fluid administration, first-aid, aggression/anxiousness, puppy/senior care, etc. Feel free to reach out with any questions! :) I am currently working part-time as a vet assistant. I have wide-open availability Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and I'm available Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays after 5pm. Long walks, extra love, and positive "good boys/girls" all around. It's important to me to be patient and understanding with any animal, and really listen to what it is that they need. I have no issue interacting with animals who may be reactive, anxious, aggressive, or all of the above.

About: I have grown up around working dogs helping my mom with care and training. I am comfortable with all dogs big and small, young and old. I have raised dogs from puppies to seniors and can administer medications, I even have experience with catheters if needed. I can assist with agility and obedience training for enrichment and set up activities to keep your pup stimulated. I have two years of experience volunteering at the Kalamazoo Nature Center in animal care so I can even provide care to snakes, salamanders, toads, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and birds. I am currently attending KCC in Battle Creek and have classes from 8am-1pm Mondays and Wednesdays. My Tuesdays and Thursdays are very open as I only have 1-2 classes those days. Fridays and Saturdays I do morning chores at a horse farm in Hickory Corners but am still available in the afternoon. I follow the owners routine and requests to a t to ensure their fur babies are as comfortable as possible while their parents are away.

About: I've loved animals my whole life. I have a lizard which I love dearly, and I grew up with a variety of family pets but I haven’t had a chance to get one on my own. I volunteer to watch my friends and families pets for multiple years, just starting to do it professionally! I hope to utilize this opportunity to get my animal fix while incorporating some exercise! I have experience with senior cats, dogs, including dogs with behavioral issues, as well as lizards, hamsters and the occasional bird or fish. I work another full time job that is a fixed schedule Monday through Friday, so l am capable of working regular hours for your and your pets! This will be a top priority and I am so excited to care for your pet and meet new animal lovers! I have house-sit for multiple friends and family members and I make sure to leave the house as I found it and make sure to abide and respect any house rules!

If you agree to let me take care of your babies I will do the best in my power to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Message me if you have any questions. I will care for your pets kindly, but firmly if need be. If you have a high energy pup, I will do my very best to keep up the energy to play with it. I will make sure your pet does not get into trouble.

About: I have had dogs most of my life and my husband and I have always had dogs since we got married many years ago. I have also watched friends and families dogs and also fostered a dog that my daughter took for her own. We live on 1.5 acres with access to 4 more acres for giving your pet some exercise. Our property is not fenced but we do not let our pets out by themselves. We live in a rural area and often take my dog on long walks. I would take your dog on walks as well based on what your dog is used to. Your dog will go outside several times a day. I would love to give your dog a loving, carefree environment to stay in while you are away. If you need someone to watch your dog while you are at work let me know. I am also willing to come to your house to let your dog out or walk it if you prefer. About this sitter: I have had dogs most of my life and my husband and I have always had dogs since we got married many years ago. I have also watched friends and families dogs and also fostered a dog that my daughter took for her own. I will come to your home to let your dog out and provide some play while you are away. Why I love dog sitting I have liked dogs since I can remember. I grew up with dogs mostly shepherds. Since my husband and I got married 30 years ago, we have not been without a dog. Our dogs have been rescue dogs. I also fostered a dog that someone got at a shelter and was going to take back. I said I would take the dog and find a home for it. My daughter ended up taking the dog. About my yard We have 1.5 acres with access to 4 more acres. Our yard is not fenced but we do not let our dog out without one of us with her. We have grass and some trees in the yard. My experience administering medication Yes, just give me the administration directions. We had a dog that was on daily oral medication and at one time on eye drops. I am home most of the time. I work part-time seasonally during the fall. My husband is my back-up if I am going to be gone. I do not have a fenced yard and all dogs are taken outside on a leash. I do have a tie-out to use if I am outside. I do not leave dogs on the tie-out when I am not outside.

Emily H.Star Sitter
“Emily is a very caring and intuitive pet caregiver. I have known her for a couple of years now and she has worked with my dogs and cat and done a great job. My two dogs are both very high-energy, intelligent mutts that each have some behavioral issues. One of them has separation anxiety and Emily has consistently worked with her and has been able to calm her down, sometimes better than we can. The other one is very temperamental and she has also been able to get him to stop growling and behave each time she is at our house. Our cat is very loving and has never had any issues, but she also loves Emily. I have also watched Emily work with her dogs and she has trained them to perfection even with previous issues they had. I would highly recommend Emily as a pet caregiver and I believe she will do a great job helping out with any pet and can also assist in training if necessary.”
