Dog Walkers in Hickory Corners, MI

About: I have grown up around working dogs helping my mom with care and training. I am comfortable with all dogs big and small, young and old. I have raised dogs from puppies to seniors and can administer medications, I even have experience with catheters if needed. I can assist with agility and obedience training for enrichment and set up activities to keep your pup stimulated. I have two years of experience volunteering at the Kalamazoo Nature Center in animal care so I can even provide care to snakes, salamanders, toads, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and birds. I am currently attending KCC in Battle Creek and have classes from 8am-1pm Mondays and Wednesdays. My Tuesdays and Thursdays are very open as I only have 1-2 classes those days. Fridays and Saturdays I do morning chores at a horse farm in Hickory Corners but am still available in the afternoon. I follow the owners routine and requests to a t to ensure their fur babies are as comfortable as possible while their parents are away.

About: I have been around many different kinds of animals growing up. I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and other small rodents and reptiles. I’m currently working another job full time in the afternoons but I am happy and eager to accept any visits from the early morning until 12:30pm. Overnight visits are also available if I am able to have at least a weeks notice, thank you! Note: I cannot accept requests from clients that live on or near dirt roads in the winter as my car cannot make it through! As your pet sitter it’s my goal to make sure your pets as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I would love to know their routines and personalities so I can care for them as best as possible!

I do have a job but it is all remote and I can control the days and hours I work. I will treat your fur babies like my own and will make sure your house is looking as good as you left it. About: I have experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, fish, chickens, and ducks. I have taken a veterinary science class in high school and I plan to become a veterinarian in the future. Currently, I do not have a job, so I am able to play with your pets all day on the days I’m available. I will be heading off to college at the end of August this year, but will be back during breaks. I will care for your pets kindly, but firmly if need be. If you have a high energy pup, I will do my very best to keep up the energy to play with it. About: While staying at your home the most nights I’ll do is 6. 6 nights, 7 days I love all kinds of animals. I'm not scared to venture out of my comfort level. Just give me instructions on how and your animal will be well looked after. I have watched 6 dogs at once, both big and small. Mostly I have watched just 1 or 2 dogs. My sister; when she comes into town, has me watch her rambunctious Golden Retriever. I love to take long walks with dogs. I have experience in non-active and active dog breeds. I'm good at attending to the pets needs, whether it’s a potty break or play time. I can administer oral medication when it’s needed. I know cats can be independent at times but when they want to be affectionate, I'll give them the love they deserve. Again I'm good at cleaning and putting fresh kitty litter down. I'm punctual on feeding times. While I am pet sitting I'd be staying at your house for the majority of the time. The most I would be gone is 3 hours. I want your pets to be as comfortable as possible. I always make sure to follow the clients instructions for food, and any medications they may have. I keep track of where your pets are to make sure they stay safe inside and out. When it comes to sleeping I prefer no pets on the bed with me.

About: Lots of experience caring for my own dog as well as the pets of my friends and family. I am familiar with senior dogs and diabetic dogs specifically strict feeding, medication, and exercise routines. I am currently taking college courses online which leaves me with a flexible and accommodating schedule to provide the best care for your special little one. I will take your dog out on a leash as often as they need as well provide walks to the dog park where they can get off leash exercise. There are currently no other pets in the home so lots of attention for your pup or a good place for dogs who like their space.

About: Looking for holiday or long term sits. I love taking walks and showing love. I've grown up with animals and I've also provided pet sitting for the past couple years. When I was younger I used to ask neighbors if they would "let me" walk their dog. I definitely give pets the attention they want...to the extent that I put off homework and could just spend my whole life petting animals. ; ). Recently I've cared for a dog with IVDD issues that has now recovered during my care. I am available weekdays and weekends. . . I am currently on a remote and shift volunteer type work schedule, leaving me flexible and available for your animal’s routines. . . About: I have had pets of many kinds almost my entire life and many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while away. My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details. About: Dogs and cats and lizards, oh my! I’ve done it all. For the first 18 years of my life I’ve had experience walking dogs, house sitting, and raising my own pets. Then I began working at a summer camp where I was partially responsible for taking care of our reptile family - crested geckos, bearded dragons, and ball pythons and were just some of the cuties I got to take care of. Since then I have taken care and owned cats, dogs, and lizards of my own and on the side have house sat and loved many family and friends pets while they’re gone. I even have experience with some medical administration such as insulin shots to a feisty cat and pills to the dog I currently own. I can’t wait to get acquainted with your family member :) My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most any time a pet needs taken care of, including during the work day and weekends. I have three dogs, one cat and a crested gecko currently who are all very loved and spoiled by myself, my husband and our almost two year old. Our cat is an old man with feline herpes, one of our dogs needs daily oral medication and the juvenile gecko gets extra attention as he continues growing.

About: I have had dogs most of my life and my husband and I have always had dogs since we got married many years ago. I have also watched friends and families dogs and also fostered a dog that my daughter took for her own. We live on 1.5 acres with access to 4 more acres for giving your pet some exercise. Our property is not fenced but we do not let our pets out by themselves. We live in a rural area and often take my dog on long walks. I would take your dog on walks as well based on what your dog is used to. Your dog will go outside several times a day. I would love to give your dog a loving, carefree environment to stay in while you are away. If you need someone to watch your dog while you are at work let me know. I am also willing to come to your house to let your dog out or walk it if you prefer. Our dogs have been rescue dogs. I also fostered a dog that someone got at a shelter and was going to take back. I said I would take the dog and find a home for it. My daughter ended up taking the dog. About my yard We have 1.5 acres with access to 4 more acres. Our yard is not fenced but we do not let our dog out without one of us with her. We have grass and some trees in the yard. My experience administering medication Yes, just give me the administration directions. We had a dog that was on daily oral medication and at one time on eye drops. I am home most of the time. I work part-time seasonally during the fall. My husband is my back-up if I am going to be gone. I do not have a fenced yard and all dogs are taken outside on a leash. I do have a tie-out to use if I am outside. I do not leave dogs on the tie-out when I am not outside.

About: I have had big dogs and small dogs throughout my whole life raising all kinds of breeds from puppy's to healthy outstanding dogs, I can spot almost instantly when something is not quite right, I have a small dog myself we have raised her from 7 weeks, she is turning a year the end of this month, she has all of her shots and vaccines, health pup, she loves to play and loves to have friends over, if you are looking for a knowledgeable, fun, loving, and caring, dog sitter I'm your gal lol!!!!
