“Rex is just the best. Constant contact and is always sending pictures of what Brooks is up to. Super appreciative of what he does. Thanks, Rex, for another great service. In our area, he's the only one we'll go with.”

“I am so extremely thankful for Kelli and the great care Mickie was given! Absolutely amazing, I will ALWAYS book will Kelli!!! Communication was A++++ and I got messages and pictures throughout our trip, I was so thankful for that! Absolutely the BEST!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful! She deserves an award for handling my crazy, high energy Labrador. Somehow she kept up with his endless energy & chaos. I got constant pictures and videos giving me a peace of mind while i was gone. Duck came home happy and tired. Can’t thank her enough for watching him!”

“We couldn't have gotten any more lucky than we did with Julie & her husband. Our Nya Bear looked like she had a great time in their home. Unfortunately she just started to blow her coat right before we dropped her off, but they continued to brush her out throughout her stay. We'll definitely be having her stay with Julie & her husband from now on when we need someone to look after her.”

“Kathy was fantastic with Teddy. She suggested a meet & greet prior to officially booking to make sure it was a good match. For the week that Teddy stayed with Kathy she provided photos, videos and written updates which helped keep us at ease. It is clear that Kathy loves dogs and enjoys having them in her home!”
“Kaity and family made the process very smooth. It was great to have a meet and greet in advance as well. I appreciated her quick responses to my messages, as well as having Zoey so warmly welcomed in her home. This is our first time using Rover for care and we will definitely do so again.”

“Jenai and Sean were lovely!! We had Jenai and Sean watch our dog Bernie for a weekend while we tied the knot! We hardly ever leave our baby and were a little anxious about it until we met them and they are just so great!”

“Deb was absolutely AMAZING! We had our puppy for just about a month and we’re needing an option besides boarding him. Deb was available last minute for a weekend trip and he loved her and his friends. She was super great with puppy needs and demands. Her house is set up perfect for doggies!”

“Tasha was such a wonderful host for our husky. She was so attentive to her and followed our instructions extremely well. We also received regular updates with photos and videos that put our mind at ease while we were away. Our dog almost didn’t want to come home because she was so well cared for with Tasha. I highly recommend Tasha!”

“Taya was able to fit not one, but our THREE dogs in very last minute when another river sitter cancelled on us the night before our booking. She very quickly picked up on their 3 distinct personalities and gave them exactly the amount of love, attention, and play time they needed. She sent us a ton of pics and videos from the weekend that left us assured they were feeling right at home so we didn’t have to worry about them and could enjoy the wedding we were in town for. If we were locals, we would absolutely pick her for any dog sitting needs we had. Cannot recommend highly enough!”

About: Hello, my name is Amanda! I would be honored to provide peace of mind, knowing your home &/or pets are safe and cared for, while you are away, during the day or longer. I offer drop in visits, dog walking, doggy daycare, boarding and house sitting. Additionally, I have experience taking care of my parent's diabetic cat, when they went out of town, which included giving him insulin shots twice a day, so I am comfortable with some medical needs' animals. My cat, Penny, is technically a senior cat, and she remains very healthy and happy! I also have experience taking care of my friends' senior dogs overnight when her and her family went out of town. As well as my own senior dog, Bentley, who has passed away. It has been a few years, but my heart is still too broken to think about welcoming a dog into my home for forever, but I so miss having a dog's company, so, temporary will have to do for now! I know just how much I loved my dog and wanted to protect him and keep him happy & healthy as long as possible, and I promise to treat your pets the same. I was also the proud owner of 4 chickens when I lived in Florida. They were the greatest entertainment! By the time I moved to Michigan, there was sadly only one remaining chicken, I didn't want to confuse her with the weather change, so of course she became a house chicken. She got to live her last two years living inside the house, cozy as can be, with me, my dog & cat. We all loved it! Long story short, I'm also available for some farm animal sitting. I promise to keep them out of your house! Unless... I would love to chat with you about your pets and your situation, and see if I can be of any assistance to you! Thank you so much! Talk soon! I would really love for pet care to become my full time work, and at this time I have open availability, in order to achieve that. I have a fully fenced yard and no off-limit spaces in my home, your pets will be treated as my own, while in my care!
“Beth and Tracy were absolutely wonderful with Duke. Beth communicated often and took lots of pictures. They took wonderful care of our pup, which made us feel really good and allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation.”

“Becky is kind, friendly, and professional. She sent lots of picture of my very happy dog. I am am so very happy with her service and highly recommend! Thank you thank you thank you”

“Jamie was flexible with drop off/pick up schedule and sent updates during stay. My anxious dog seemed very comfortable with her, thanks again for taking care of Clover!”
“Wow, what can I say… Jill ( & Sunny :))was amazing with our 4 yr old yellow lab, Callie! She was so loving and all about making a great experience for Callie. Her home was perfect and such a nice setting back near a nice river with a large yard with a fenced in area as well. Our dog could use her doggy door (once she got the hang of it ;) )and go outside to the fenced in yard and play/potty/whatever ….as she needed. Jill was great about taking walks, letting her swim in the river at her property, having playtime and providing constant attention and love. And her dog Sunny is so loving and was a great playmate for Callie. :). Such a reassuring feeling to have her with Jill while we traveled. Knowing she was getting constant attention, love, care, exercise, and play. I will never use a kennel or doggy care center again as long as Jill is available, thanks Jill ! :-)”

About: I've lived with dogs my whole life and recently became a dog-father to my 50lb poodle mix, Maggie about a year ago. I can appreciate the love we have for our fur-babies and how they are a part of the family. As a recent WMU DPT grad, I am in need of a little extra cash while studying full time for my licensure exam. I would love to be able to care for your dog in a flexible way that allows me time to study! As a recent DPT graduate from WMU, I am "full time" studying for my licensure exam at the end of April. Luckily, this gives me plenty of time to be flexible and care for dogs during study breaks, or staying in house as necessary. I live in a home with 2 medium-large sized dogs that get along well. My dog, Maggie, is a very well mannered poodle mix that gets a long with every dog we meet. We would love puppy play dates at the local Richland park, or Maggie can just as easily stay at home.

His laid back nature helped me as well. I couldn't believe how excited she got when realizing where we were headed. He did a wonderful job and is really, really appreciated. Thank you Rex. We'll see you in the spring.”

About: Hi, I'm Jill! Dogs have been part of my life since I can remember. I've spent years caring for and connecting with dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Friends and family often call me the "dog whisperer" because I seem to naturally build trust with dogs, whether they're shy, anxious, energetic, independent, or just need a little extra patience. I also have a special appreciation for senior dogs and understand their unique needs, routines, and comfort requirements. Your pup will be welcomed into a loving home with Sunny, my friendly chocolate Lab, a large-fenced yard, a doggie door, and plenty of supervised playtime and attention throughout the day. There is also optional swimming in the river behind my home. As a full-time REALTOR® with a flexible schedule, I'm home or nearby most of the time, so your dog will enjoy companionship, exercise, and plenty of affection rather than being left alone for long periods. I believe every dog is an individual. Whether your dog loves to play, explore, cuddle, or simply relax in a calm environment, I'll take the time to learn their personality and routine, so they feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you're away. My home is where dogs aren't just watched—they're welcomed, understood, and loved. 🐾 I am a fully time REALTOR® with a flexible schedule. I spend much of my day working from home or close by, which means your dog won't be left along for long periods. About: I have lived with dogs my entire life, all shapes and sizes. I currently own a Husky, his name is Rollo, and a Chihuahua named Yoda. Both of them are age 6 and have been solely in my care since. I understand that every dog has their own personality, especially breeds like huskies. I’m comfortable handling their energy, attitude, and unique needs while making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every dog like they’re part of my own family. I'm currently working part-time but am also in between jobs so my schedule could change. However, I am currently available Sunday-Saturday from 11am-6pm. I live in a safe quiet environment that offers lots of nearby maintained county trails for dogs to walk in, including enclosed dog parks. My two dogs get along with others extremely well to provide company if wanted.
“The best!! my lila had a great time, i would recommend using shawnia a million times. communicated very well and kept me updated throughout the day. My girl had a blast and we will definitely be back.”

“Deb is a true gem! She took such excellent care of my two little dogs and they came home after both days with her with happy faces and tired bodies from playing. My shy girl, Clover even snuggled and took a nap at her house! AMAZING sitter, highly recommend Deb. She has a house designed for pups and a beautiful, peaceful and huge backyard. She's home most of the time and just treats your dogs with genuine love and sweetness. I am moving too far to use her services again, but sad to say so, because our experience with her was just absolutely perfect. There may be sitters in the Battle Creek area that charge less, but having tried them with very mixed results - I assure you Deb is worth every penny!”

About: I’ve been around animals since I was born. I’ve had a lot of experience with dogs, and I love to be around them. My favorite thing to do is to be with animals. I have my own Siberian Husky that I will need to drop in on occasionally I do have a dog of my own. But other then babysitting for family and doctors appointments I am pretty free other than that. I love all animals and love getting new experiences. I would feed the pets, let them out every few hours. Keep them company, play with them take them for walks, anything that would be needed.
“Dick and Deborah were amazing. Opie had so much fun in the 6 hours he was there, he was sleeping before we even got to the first stop sign. The whole family was so sweet to him and gave him so much lovin. If we ever need a dog sitter again in the GR area, they'll be the only sitters we'll use.”

First thing first is to care the animals with respect, love and comfort to be in your home. If I was at your house, I am that person that will follow your wishes and expectations of how you would want me to care for your animals. I do clean up after myself when I am at your house and to keep it tidy clean as you like it to be. I also like to step outside with the dogs/cats to keep my eyes on them or even just being outside with them and play with their toys to give them my joyful attention. I love to have the transparency communication with the owners as well. I will always ask the owner before assuming or trying things out. About: I bring over 15 years of experience as a puppy trainer for Canine Companions for Independence, where I helped raise and train service dog puppies with structure, consistency, and patience. That experience gave me a deep understanding of obedience training, behavior development, socialization, and building trust with dogs of all temperaments. I’ve also had dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, working with puppies, and providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. I understand routines, communication, and the importance of making pets feel safe and secure while their owners are away. What sets me apart is reliability, experience, and treating every pet like family — with structured care, attention to detail, and consistent updates for peace of mind. As a stay-at-home dad, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. During the school year, I have flexibility and availability throughout the day for drop-ins, walks, feedings, and check-ins. Summers are even more open, allowing me to offer consistent, reliable care with a flexible schedule. Because I’m home-based, I’m able to prioritize punctuality, routine, and communication. Pet care isn’t something I try to squeeze in — it’s something I can intentionally plan my day around to ensure your pets receive dependable, attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide exercise or playtime based on their needs, clean litter boxes or pick up waste promptly, and reinforce any household rules or training already in place. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on consistency, patience, and attentiveness. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience training puppies for Canine Companions for Independence and a lifetime of owning both dogs and cats, I’m highly observant of behavior and body language, ensuring your pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.

I currently work about 15 hours a week so I should have plenty of time to give your dog the care he or she needs! I don’t mind sitting during the day or night whatever would make you know your pet is safe. Whether in your home or mine, I like to maintain constant supervision and ensure all dogs will be okay. I use sturdy leashes for every walk and stay highly alert to our surroundings to avoid any high stress interactions with other animals or people for those sensitive dogs. I also like to make sure your animal eats and feel comfortable enough to make sure they get the proper nutrition.

About: Having a few furry friends of my own (two cats and a corgi), I am always looking to make new furry friends and feel more than capable of providing quality care for your pets. At my home, our corgi is crate trained and loves to play (lots of energy!). My cats could not be more opposite of each other — one of them is lovey and greets you at the door, while the other is shy and likes to hide. Either works for me!
About: I know dogs very well. I used to pet sit when I was young and still do. I’ve had many dogs a few cats and some fish. I am currently not working at a place with a schedule. I have no human children. No school, my schedule is open. I have time to meet pets needs. I have a nice yard on the lake, I leash up the fur babies and walk about a mile twice a day. Trips out the yard I’m between. I have an electric fence I haven’t put in yet.
“Jillian. was perfect with our puppy, Hershey. Hershey has a lot of energy and when Jillian. walked her she was so tired that the dog actually fell asleep on Jillian.‘s foot while we were chatting after the walk. This is what I had hoped for! I definitely recommend Jillian. as a very qualified and capable doggy care person.”

About: I’ve grown up having dogs and cats around me my entire life and there’s nothing I love more than keeping my furry friends safe and happy 💕 I have a flexible schedule that allows pet care to be a regular part of my daily routine. I work part-time as a party princess, primarily on select weekends, and gigs are infrequent and scheduled ahead of time. Because of this, I’m able to commit fully to feeding schedules, walks, check-ins, and quality time, ensuring pets receive dependable and focused care. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and bedtime routines. I make sure pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment while keeping the home clean and respected. I also will provide updates so owners feel confident their pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have had dogs most of my life and my husband and I have always had dogs since we got married many years ago. I have also watched friends and families dogs and also fostered a dog that my daughter took for her own. We live on 1.5 acres with access to 4 more acres for giving your pet some exercise. Our property is not fenced but we do not let our pets out by themselves. We live in a rural area and often take my dog on long walks. I would take your dog on walks as well based on what your dog is used to. Your dog will go outside several times a day. I would love to give your dog a loving, carefree environment to stay in while you are away. If you need someone to watch your dog while you are at work let me know. I am also willing to come to your house to let your dog out or walk it if you prefer. About this sitter: I have had dogs most of my life and my husband and I have always had dogs since we got married many years ago. I have also watched friends and families dogs and also fostered a dog that my daughter took for her own. I will come to your home to let your dog out and provide some play while you are away. Why I love dog sitting I have liked dogs since I can remember. I grew up with dogs mostly shepherds. Since my husband and I got married 30 years ago, we have not been without a dog. Our dogs have been rescue dogs. I also fostered a dog that someone got at a shelter and was going to take back. I said I would take the dog and find a home for it. My daughter ended up taking the dog. About my yard We have 1.5 acres with access to 4 more acres. Our yard is not fenced but we do not let our dog out without one of us with her. We have grass and some trees in the yard. My experience administering medication Yes, just give me the administration directions. We had a dog that was on daily oral medication and at one time on eye drops. I am home most of the time. I work part-time seasonally during the fall. My husband is my back-up if I am going to be gone. I do not have a fenced yard and all dogs are taken outside on a leash. I do have a tie-out to use if I am outside. I do not leave dogs on the tie-out when I am not outside.
About: Hello! My name is Arica. I have been taking care of pets for many years. I love animals, especially dogs. I don’t have any kids and most of my time is spent at home. I do have a job but it is all remote and I can control the days and hours I work. I will treat your fur babies like my own and will make sure your house is looking as good as you left it. If you agree to let me take care of your babies I will do the best in my power to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Message me if you have any questions. Thank you 😊 I work for a company that is remote. I have full control of the scheduling and when I work. So there would be no problem fitting it in to my routine! I make sure to treat them like family. I take care of the home as well. I would follow all of owners guidelines for walks, crating, and administering medication. Always making sure your pup is safe, having a tight hold onto leashes when walking!
“Have met with Sarah a few times now for walks with my fearful rescue dog. She has been wonderful and patient and confident. My dog has slowly started gaining her trust and I look forward to continue to use her services .”

“My Sophie is high energy and still young dog and she was willing to take the challenge. Sydney was very kind and put my fears to rest. She sent pictures several times a day with updates. She has a large fenced in yard and also took Sophie on walks, just fantastic!”

“Amy was a wonderful sitter for our dog while we were away for a week. We loved all the updates she would share and I could see that our dog was very well cared for and absolutely loved staying with Amy. Thank you so much!”

“This is my second time bringing my dog to Natasha. My dog was so excited to see her and ran up to her door and never looked back to say goodbye to me 😂. He gets a lot of interaction and play time with her dogs. I would 100% recommend Natasha to take care of your pet. I have zero worries while away”

“Catherine was so great with our girls. She sent an update each night and spent time with our puppy working on training which we super appreciated. Would definitely recommend her to family and friends. 😊”
