I recently made a short trip out of town, and decided to ask Alyx to sit for my 9-month-old kitten Josie. This was my first time being away from Josie for an extended time, and I was a bit nervous because she is so young. Alyx was fabulous with her, and completely set my mind at ease. All the sitters replied "unavailable", but Ted responded "yes" & IMMEDIATELY jumped to action! He even brought his wife to help! I am so grateful to both for responsiveness, understanding and compassion, and for their INSTANT action and patience to operate in my messy place (I was amidst major cleaning when these unforeseen events happened)!
