About: I pride myself in being able to bond with any animal. I love all breeds of dogs, and I understand that a key aspect to their behavior is their exercise, diet, and social interactions. By choosing me, you are guaranteeing that you dog is getting the proper amount of exercise and social engagement. My own dogs do not go on just walks, but outings that always include them meeting other dogs and socializing, making for a happier, healthier, and friendlier pet. I have been around dogs since I was 7. I was given my first dog to take care of at 11, a German Shepherd, and I had him for 12 years. He was never crated, and walked at least once a day to ensure he wasn’t cooped up. I work from home as a marketing / social media manager, which gives me ample time to take any clients pet out as I am on a looser schedule and can accommodate to the pet versus the pet moulding to my schedule. I have my own room, as well as a full backyard to use for any dog. I will let them stay within my room if need be, as well and within my entire house if they are good with other dogs.

About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.

There was one family I worked for when I was in college who fostered dogs so while they were away during the day at work I would go over for a few hours just to play and give them the TLC they needed to get better. About: I have been caring for various pets for family, friends, neighbors, and strangers alike. I enjoy dogs the most, but have taken care of cats, lizards, snakes, and many plants as well. I have taken care of older dogs who have special requirments. I am free after 4:00pm most nights, although my schedual is subject to change. I can check quicky on pets most afternoons, if located near me. Other needs can be discussed if necessary. I follow whatever the animal and the home needs.
