About: Life is better with dogs and I often say we don’t deserve them! I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have 4 adorable miniature dachshunds. I wanted 2 more but my partner threw down the hammer on me saying no. I’ve used Rover in the past and had some really amazing experiences and one, not so great experience, so I understand the value in finding the right person to stay, play and take care of your loved ones. I’ve always valued my caretaker sending plenty of photos and videos while I’m away, so I always said if I did this for others, I would do the same! Trust and reliability are the most important things I’ve always looked for in having someone stay in my home with my pets while I’m away, and that’s what you get from me! I am currently retired and am fully available day and night! My partner and our 4 dogs stay at our house in Denver full time, and I stay at my house here in the Vail Valley, so there are no conflicts with my schedule. I would be the only person taking care of your pets! Pets are children. Always have been and always will be in my book. I love to play with, walk and snuggle them. I like to give them the same unconditional love they give us.

“Corrie was a great pet sitter, even the cat thought so! He doesn’t react to everyone the way he warmed up to her. We felt our baby was in very good hands! Highly recommend!”

“It was a joy to have Anjelica watch our cat! She sent detailed updates and lots of photos, which helps ease any worries I have when I’m away. It was clear our cat was not only taken care of but also adored while we were away. I highly recommend her!”

“Very dependable and communicative!”

“Alina did such a great job checking in with our cat Luka while we were out of town! She communicated well, was punctual, and most of all - treated our cat like he was her own! We really enjoyed the thoughtful check-in notes and pictures she left every day. I would highly recommend Alina, and plan on using her in the future!”

About: I work from home and love who spends time outside. I have 2 cats and have had animals in my home my whole life. Friends and neighbors have relied on me to help care for their companions when needed. I ONLY specialize in cat sitting. Contact me anytime for any inquiries ! I currently work full time but I am available just most evenings and full availability Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays anytime. Contact me for requested times. When watching someone’s fur baby I always make sure all doors are secure. I have experienced losing a pet when it was being taken care of and it is the worst feeling. I do everything I can to make sure this does not happen under my watch, especially when entering someone’s home.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and absolutely love animals of all kinds. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and sizes - from playful puppies to senior cats - and I bring a calm caring energy to every pet I meet. I am an environmental educator and work a consistent 8:30am-5pm schedule Monday through Friday. That means I’m available for early morning, evening and weekend pet care - and I’m great at keeping routines consistent. I love starting and ending my day with time spent outside or with animals so pet care fits naturally around my work. In a client’s home I follow all care instructions closely to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar space. I stick to their usual routines for feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddles. I also make sure your home is left just as you found it.

“Cleo was a wonderful cat sitter! She was easy to work with and punctual. It was great having someone who loves cats and gave our kitties the care needed when we were gone. If you need a local catsitter in the area I would go with Cleo!”

“No complaints! Thank you, Kira!”

“Thanks Michael for taking great care of Billie!!”

“Marissa saved the day. With work commitments & a pup with upset stomach, she dropped-in twice in one day. And despite our efforts, Beacon had accidents, which she kindly cleaned up. No one likes being sick, Marissa shared empathy and is now on Beacon's "keeper list."”

About: I am a massage therapist with a very flexible schedule. Needless to say your pups will get lots of rubs! I live about five minutes from Vail Village and am a perfect candidate to help out while you're out enjoying the beauty this lovely town has to offer. Up until this point my experience with dog sitting has been for friends and family. I also walk my managers dog daily during winter (she's not a fan of the snow) I am flexible and easy to work with. More than happy to work with other animals as well as plant watering. I am so excited to meet you and your pups! I work part time as a massage therapist from 2-7 amd 5-8 leaving plenty of time for your doggos and I to explore and enjoy the outdoors. I prefer to have a chat or meet up if possible prior to boarding or house sitting to get to know you, your pets and what is important to you both. Every doggo is different some like long walks while others just want to play. I like to be maliable to their specific needs as well as your requests.
