“Caroline was great with my cats and helped check on them when I was away for Thanksgiving. She met me before my trip and followed all instructions. Very friendly and amazing sitter. Sent pic updates of cats! Thanks! :)”

“Lena was happy to see us and not desperate and angry. A tribute to Erin giving her not just the care she needs, but the companionship too while we're gone. We're so grateful for that. Erin goes above and beyond, making sure to take care of the trash and recycling, and leaving the house clean. We're so grateful for her care.”

“Elisangela was great with watching my two cats while I was away on vacation. She dropped in on the dates and times as discussed, sent plenty of updates and pictures. Would highly recommend!”

“Gina is awesome! She was flexible with her schedule and patient with me. She is so friendly and was very good with my 9 week old puppy. Will definitely work with her again, thank you Gina!!!”

“Laurie has walked our dog and fed our cat while on vacation. She is one of the best pet sitters we have used. Great pictures and detailed updates every day. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“This was my 1st experience with Rover, and I am delighted with the services I got. I am very grateful to have had Galina for ten days taking care of my two cats, with one with special needs also needing medicine every 48 hours. Galina was caring and sweet with my cats. She communicated with me daily about the status of her visit. She cleaned their litter box, provided my cats' food with all the supplements I requested her to add to their meals, and provided oral medicine to one of my cats when needed. My apartment was clean; they used the hand vacuum when needed, brought mail inside the condo, cared about my plants, and even took care of the trash when required. I highly recommend that Galina care for your furry kids, and I will hire her again on my next planned trips.”

“Great job taking care of our cats - she did a really good job and made sure they were well taken care of and addressed the rooms they were getting into that they weren't supposed to get into”

“Rosemary is THE BEST. She gives great updates (and the cutest pictures!) while watching our cats and I feel at ease leaving town knowing she is taking amazing care of them. She truly goes above and beyond!”

“My cats are typically shy and don't like my friends or extended family, but somehow they absolutely adore Charlene. When I get home from vacation, they still wait at the door for Charlene because they want her to visit them all the time!”

About: I’m a dog person! I love meeting new dogs and spending time with them. I’ve taken care of dogs off and on for 20 years (not including my own). I currently have a rat terrier mix - Roxie - who LOVES dog friends and is very playful. I’m a big walker and have experience with dogs on trails as well as in neighborhoods. I’d take care of your dog like my own. Most of my experience is for extended stay house-sitting for families with multiple dogs. I’m not able to have cats in my apartment, but love meeting cats in their own space and would be sure they were well loved and taken care of in your absence. I work from home full-time and have a very flexible schedule which allows me to be available most times of the day. I can work around complicated calendars! I have a fenced yard and a VERY friendly rat-terrier mix named Roxie. For house sitting, Roxie can come with me or stay behind, but she’s great with dogs off all sizes and I’m very careful when bringing her into another dog’s space.

About: I make a very good friend for pets. I don't have any of my own, but other people's pets usually love me. I've been taking care of pets since I was a teen, mostly pet sitting or drop-ins for feedings and hangouts. Have experience with dogs and cats. I currently work from home and have been trying to get out and take more walks in the afternoon during my break. Might as well bring a furry friend along for some company and motivation! I'm available weekdays in the late morning through early afternoon. I also live pretty close to a dog park that I frequent with my partner and her puppy. I like to make sure pets are comfortable around me, always checking to make sure their body language is telling me it's okay before I try to reach out and pet them.

“Francis and Julia did not disappoint as a cat sitting duo! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our cats loved playing with both of them! Thanks for the great help!”

“Tanya did a phenomenal job with our very anxious/scared cat! This was our first time using a pet service and we were so impressed how quickly she won him over and we really appreciated the care she took. She followed all our instructions, was able to successfully get him to take his pill everyday and left us at ease. Every time she came she spent the time on the floor with him which I know he would have really appreciated. Thanks again, Tanya!”

“Melinda is amazing, super outgoing and responsive. She is amazing with our cat, Pooh. We couldn’t be happier with the care that she provides to our little fur man when we’re out of town. This is the second times we used her and you better believe, we will rely on her again in the future. Top notch person all the away around.”

About: I have had pets my entire life, and eventually chose to make a career out of it. I worked as a veterinary technician in both small private clinics, as well as large emergency/critical care and specialty hospitals. I specialized in Dermatology at Angell in Boston, (so if your pet has icky skin or stinky ears, I won't be scared off!) and then I worked at a small general medicine clinic in Upstate NY for a couple of years. Upon returning to the Boston area, I worked at MVRH in Woburn in the ER/Critical Care department. Life circumstances have taken me away from the field, so I have been getting my fill of pet care by doing home pet sitting services. I take care of my clients pets as if they are my own. My calm demeanor has always been an attribute when it comes to caring for timid or anxious pets, and I generally can earn their trust quickly. I was certified in Feline Friendly Fear Free handling, which has come in very handy when having to clip nails or medicate a fragile or difficult kitty. I am very comfortable administering medications, including giving subcutaneous fluids in the home. I have some basic dog training experience, so I try to utilize those skills when handling all personality types of dogs. I have volunteered at a couple of shelters walking dogs, and that entailed being able to confidently engage with and handle dogs of all breeds and sizes with a huge array of temperaments. I am incredibly patient, and I always try to meet a dog where he/she is at. Our companion animals are crucial to living a more happy and healthy life, and for many of us, our cats/dogs are the only children we have, so I feel that it is important to find a sitter that understands that and will provide the best care possible. Maybe I can be that person for you. I do not have a 9-5 job, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I have listed my availability to be Monday through Friday, but will consider weekend visits if needed. Very early mornings are usually not feasible, so I generally make myself available after 9 AM. I do not offer pet care in my own home. We have a young dog and two cats, so the house is already quite full! I am willing to go to your home for daily visits. At this time I am unable to do overnights.
