“Diedre was amazing with our boy Tito, who has special needs. He has anxiety and was recently diagnosed with epilepsy so is wobbly from the phenobarbital he has to take. He had a lovely playmate and Diedre made sure he wouldn’t slip on the floors and was not left alone at night. It is clear that she has lots of experience with pets and girs over and above what is expected. I wish she lived closer to us!”

“Thank you so much harmony for taking such wonderful care of chelsea . It was her 1st time away from home and she is an older dog so I was a little worried but harmony took all those fears away the 1st nite, she sent pictures and caring notes of how she was doing, chelsea had lots to do as her back yard is awesome. You can tell harmony loves what she does, thank goodness for us pet owners who need a loving and caring place to care for our pets. Will take both my dogs to harmony everytime I leave town. About: I have been walking and pet sitting since I was younger. I would watch and walk my neighbors dog for them when they went away. I recently graduated from UVM with my B.S in animal science hoping to go to Vet school in the future. I have worked with more than just dogs and cats, but livestock too. I work at a vet clinic as a vet technician right now and walk/ pet sit for families in the area now. I work a full time job at a vet clinic but have availability before and after work, as well as weekends. My hours do vary on certain days so feel free to reach out regardless! I do have a good size backyard. It is not fenced in but I have do have 4.5 acres of land behind my house. There are also walk/hiking trails down the road from my house.

“Our Great Pyrénées had a great time at Sarah’s house. Her dog is the perfect playmate for Charlotte and the fenced in backyard gives her plenty of space to play freely and safely. Sarah was kind enough to send me pictures and give updates on how Charlotte was doing. Charlotte can be a picky and unpredictable eater so I really appreciated Sarah’s patience and perseverance during mealtimes. Charlotte and I look forward to her next overnight!”

“Samantha was great! She is the best Rover sitter that we’ve had for our dog. She took her on 1-2 walks per day and sent us plenty of pictures. Our dog seemed very happy with her, and Samantha was great with communication. Our flight got delayed almost two hours, and Samantha was very flexible with us picking our dog up later. Would highly recommend!!”

About: I have lived with dogs my whole life- from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have trained puppies (am currently doing so now) and cared for the sweetest senior dogs. I have a large home and yard, free of children but with one friendly puppy. I am very patient and loving, and will appreciate any animal personality I am presented with. I have a smaller fenced in area off my back door. I am available for all services anytime on weekends but also work from home on Mondays. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits each week night after 4, and sometimes during my lunch break if you happen to live near downtown Montpelier! I frequently bring dogs for leashed walks throughout their time with me, whether its around my large yard or somewhere new like a bike path. I do not provide a crate but rather try to mostly stay with a dog throughout the duration of their stay, and allow them full access to my home at all times. I like to treat them as family but also do whatever will make them feel most comfortable and secure.

“Adam has one of the absolute biggest hearts. He is an animal and dog lover and I have personally witnessed him take amazing care of his own dog, Dos, as well as the pets of many friends and family. He loves playing fetch, going to the park, going on hikes/runs/walks with the dogs he watches. He is very active and loves promoting a healthy lifestyle for both himself and his pups in his care. He also always loves a good snuggle. I could not recommend Adam enough!”

“Our 6-month old puppy has had 2 stays with Piper so far. She is amazing. Our dog is fearful of strangers and needs to warm up at his own pace (which can be extremely slow at times). Piper just knew how to handle him from the get go and went out of her way to make him feel comfortable. She even discovered things that our little guy likes that we did not know. Prior to his first stay, Piper spent quite a bit of time on the phone to get as much information as possible about Milo. She even made recommendations to make him feel comfortable. While he was anxious at drop off time, he was a happy little guy after his first experience there. At the second stay a week later, I left Piper's house with him licking from her hand and not really caring that I was leaving (a huge accomplishment given his fear level). And when I picked him up, he did not even come to the door - I guess he had forgotten about me and was happily chewing on a bone, all comfy on the rug. Piper is family no. 2 to our dog!”
