Sarah was very kind and accommodating. Also so easy for anyone who is spending the day skiing at Stowe. Would definitely trust her to take care of my little one again.

Tucker had a great time at “camp” Jenna! He will definitely be back for more fun! Jenna responded quickly to my questions and the pics she sent were so reassuring especially since it was the his first time.

Deirdre took great care of our pup while we were away for 2 days! Soho was so tired from playing and had a fun time going on walks and exploring the area. Will definitely use Deirdre again if we are in the area!

Colby hosted our three pups in her home for a day and it was an amazing experience! She was extremely communicative and made sure to cater to each of our dog's individual needs. Our dogs came home so happy and tired from all the fun they had with Colby. I mean, what more could we ask for? We are all looking forward to working with Colby again!

Sean is an excellent dog daycare provider. He is personable, kind and very reliable. Hamish loved not only Sean, but also Sean’s family — which includes two Labradoodles, Penny and Finn, Hamish’s daily playmates around the family’s generous off-road property.

About: Growing up, I have never been without a pet to come home to. I truly believe pets have the ability to alter someone’s life, and thus deserve the best care. I can assure you I will treat your pets with utmost care and love. I ran my own pet sitting business in high school, and am very comfortable with new dogs and cats. I am currently an M1 at Dartmouth med school. My schedule is quite flexible, just reach out for specific quests about your pet sitting needs. I live in a house with 5 other medical students so it’s difficult to host animals in my house but I am happy to stay in your home!

About: I have over ten years of experience caring for fur babies of every kind! I grew up surrounded by animals, a passion that has blossomed in my adult years. In high school I worked in a veterinary setting where I was able to learn pet CPR & emergency skills. I am now a human mama to one baby boy who I plan to pass my love of animals onto, we practice and model gentle and respectful handling of all furry friends. I am an animal mama to two goldens, some chickens and a few cats. I work from home, so naturally, spend all my days doting on my fur babies and yours too! Your pets will always be treated with love, kindness & patience by me - whether in my home or yours! Please note: I currently have an infant so I am unable to accommodate overnight stays. However, I am able to offer early morning and late night visits, as well as up to 5-6 visits / daily while house sitting depending on your pets’ needs. Please reach out to chat more if you’re looking for house sitting services! I work a very relaxed job from home so I am able to be available to your pet 24/7 for medicine breaks, snack breaks, walks, potty breaks, and scritches! I have experience with every pet type, from Great Danes to bottle fed kittens. If your pet is staying in my home - they can enjoy our fenced in backyard or our dedicated dog loft if they need some time to decompress. Otherwise, they’ll get to hangout with my family 24/7 which includes my two golden retrievers, Franklin & Jasper. Franklin & Jasper have never met a dog they didn’t LOVE. For peace of mind, our dogs will never be fed in the same space as your pet(s). We always welcome you to come see our home and meet Franklin & Jasper before your scheduled drop off date so that you can feel confident and stress free while out of town. If I am watching your pet within your home, my visits are extremely flexible. I am able to accommodate feeding and walk schedules seamlessly.

Thank you!! This was on short notice and I also changed pick up time, both of which were no problem. Great communication and def made me feel very comfortable leaving our pet there. This isn’t something we do a-lot especially since this fall when he was diagnosed with a degenerative issue. Very, very nice setting for dogs! Super nice family and would highly recommend.

Kevin watched our pug for two days while we attended the Quechee Balloon Festival. He was incredibly flexible with our plans and let us stay out much longer than originally planned. Our pup had a good time, evidenced by the 2nd day when we dropped him off and he ran right to Kevin! The other dogs were a bit noisy and inquisitive but settled right down so it wasn’t a problem. Kevin sent a few photos and video which we much appreciated. If we were in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to leave our dog with Kevin once again.

About: I currently have and train a 1 year old golden retriever! I grew up around dogs and LOVE spending time outside walking/hiking/playing/running with dogs. Let’s make our dogs best friends 🥹. I work remotely part time and have a lot of flexibility. Just shoot me a message and we will be able to work something out! I’ve got a spacious apartment with parks nearby for the dogs to play! I’ve also got a fully enclosed balcony where the pups can hang out as well!

About: Growing up around a wide variety of animals has given me the skills and passion needed to be an attentive and responsible carer of all kinds of pets. I've owned several dogs, cats, rodents, and horses. I was responsible for administering medications, accommodating pets with special needs, becoming attuned to various behaviors and habits, and adhering to specific individualized training methods. I'm currently working full-time from home as a customer service rep for a small, local company and mothering my 2 year old toddler (who is very gentle and respectful around all animals). I'm fortunately very flexible with my schedule and can accommodate both last-minute and long-term schedules! Being a sincere animal lover, I'm always enthusiastically willing to tend to the needs of any pets that are under my care. I believe that both people and animals benefit from living in a clean and comfortable space, so I seek to maintain and accommodate that kind of positive atmosphere in your pet's home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Randolph Center commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in VT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 56 sitters in Randolph Center, 87% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
