About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I'm a long-time vegetarian, and have always had an extra sensitive heart when it comes to animals. I think that earning an animal's trust is such a privilege and gift, and I honor that. I cannot house pets in my current apartment, but I will follow the guidance and knowledge of the owners in their homes and while on walks.

About: I have had dogs in my life since I can remember, from family dogs to dog sitting for friends in high school, to now owning my own two little creatures. I am knowledgeable and comfortable with high-anxiety dogs and leash-reactive dogs (one of mine is both of these and more!) and am comfortable and confident with all sizes, breeds, and ages. There's nothing better than plugging into a good podcast and taking a nice, long walk with a furry friend. I have experience with all types of dogs, especially bully breed dogs (pit bulls, boxers, etc) and everything from high anxiety dogs to puppies to elder care dogs. I can administer oral medication, and have given humans shots before so with some owner coaching, would definitely be comfortable administering injected medication if needed. I'm currently working part time, so I have lots of time to take your pup on a walk during the day or hang with them while you’re out of town. I live in Burlington, VT, but I'm willing to travel. I am happy to come to your home where your dog is already comfortable and familiar. Having two dogs who have utilized Rover for this reason, I believe it is the best option for some high-anxiety dogs not to be put into an unfamiliar situation when their parents are gone. About: I have been caring for pets for 15 years and I absolutely adore all animals. I will make sure your pet is comfortable, happy, and given lots of attention.
