“Deirdre was AMAZING with my puppy Sookie. She goes above and beyond with all her care and you can tell she really loves taking care of dogs and treats yours like her own. My dog Sookie had some stomach issues and Deirdre cooked her rice and other things that fixed it. When she noticed that Sookie was itching, she gave her anti-itching baths, Omega 3 oil and a spray that fixed that too! She sent so many videos and pics that showed how Sookie had the best time during her stay and I will totally have my dogs stay with Deirdre again!”

Growing up with 2 dogs has taught me a lot Currently on summer break as I wait for my college graduate program to start. I can give your dog all the attention they need and deserve. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. I prefer to care for your animals in your own home: I can do drop-in visits, walks and daytime or overnight house-sitting.

About: Growing up around a wide variety of animals has given me the skills and passion needed to be an attentive and responsible carer of all kinds of pets. I've owned several dogs, cats, rodents, and horses. I was responsible for administering medications, accommodating pets with special needs, becoming attuned to various behaviors and habits, and adhering to specific individualized training methods. I'm currently working full-time from home as a customer service rep for a small, local company and mothering my 2 year old toddler (who is very gentle and respectful around all animals). I'm fortunately very flexible with my schedule and can accommodate both last-minute and long-term schedules! Being a sincere animal lover, I'm always enthusiastically willing to tend to the needs of any pets that are under my care. About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I'm a long-time vegetarian, and have always had an extra sensitive heart when it comes to animals. I think that earning an animal's trust is such a privilege and gift, and I honor that.
