“Christina and Jason were amazing to our puppy! Very communicative and Cruz came home happy and tired! Felt very comfortable with them and having Cruz in their care. Thank you so much!”

“Brittany was super easy to work with, the pups loved her, and her set up is perfect for the active boys we have, they hardly noticed we left. Her pups were great greeters and playmates. We were traveling far so our timing was quite questionable and Brittany made us feel right at home and worked with us and the unpredictability of Boston!”
“Joseph took such good care of our Annie dog! You are immediately put at ease with Joseph's gentle demeanor and you can tell that he really loves animals. He was patient with her feeding since she tends to have a hard time while we are away. He sent pictures each day of their walks. Annie was tired and happy when we picked her up! We'll definitely ask Joseph to watch her again!”

About: I've taken care of food, play, walks, and medicines for dogs. I love spending time with them and giving them the attention they deserve. I've also spent time at shelters to be with the dogs. I've helped with dogs of all breeds and I'm excited to get to know the personality of your dog! I've done day-boarding via Rover and dog walks + house sitting for dogs in general. I have work Mon-Fri till 4:30pm and would be available 5pm onwards for your dog on weekdays. However I do have some flexibility during the week so feel free to check as per your requirement. I live in decent sized studio apartment alone. I have enough room to play, feed, and keep the dog company. The apartment building is pet-friendly, safe, and has a dog park along with walking paths around it so there is enough area for me to take the dog for a nice walk. There is also a shorter path where I can take the dog for relieving themselves immediately right outside the apartment. The building also has a nice outdoor and indoor chilling space within it where I can take the dog for some engagement.
“I felt very comfortable, safe, and secure with my dog Tubbs in Abbie’s care. She has great communication, is kind and caring, and Tubbs was in the best mood when I picked him up (I’m not certain he wanted to leave!). Highly recommend, will definitely rebook!”

“Amber was a fabulous dog-sitter! She sent me the cutest pictures on Rupert, clearly enjoying his stay. It enabled me to enjoy my journey, knowing he was well-cared for. I will gladly book with Amber again.”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs, and have owned pets throughout my life. I've owned a very reactive dog, so I have experience with helping animals feel comfortable around new people. My girlfriend and I don't currently own pets, so doing Rover will help fill that void in my life. Hope I can provide you with some relief that your pet is comfortable and being properly cared for. I'm a travel nurse and am currently on a break between contracts. So, I've got plenty of free time throughout the week to watch your pets! Happy to swing by and take your pets for a walk, or just simply provide them with a little attention or playtime. I'm a big believer in leaving a place as good or better than how you found it. So, if you need me to stay at your place, you can rest assured that you'll return to it in good condition.
“Anna was an outstanding pet and house sitter. She was professional, responsive, and incredibly patient with all of my nervous pet-mom questions throughout the stay. She arrived right on time, took wonderful care of my pets, and left my home in immaculate condition. She even washed all of the bedding without being asked, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. I came home to happy pets and a house that looked wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend Anna and would gladly book her again.”

All boarding and house sitting includes adventure daycare (pick up and drop off service, hiking and training during the day) and boarding in my home. I have more than 16 years training, walking and exercising high energy dogs. I have extensive experience with working dogs, special needs dogs and have certifications in dog obedience and other disciplines. I am licensed as a public school teacher and fully background checked. Contact me for the best care. Boarding and adventure daycare is my speciality. I have limited drop in availability. For the health and safety of all pets in my care, I require current vaccination records before confirming a reservation. For dogs, this includes rabies, DHPP/DAPP, and Bordetella, as applicable to the services provided and local requirements. Please provide documentation from your veterinarian during the booking process. I am happy to coordinate the safest available method for sharing these records. Dog walking and exercising is my full-time job. I want to provide a concierge service that makes it easiest for you to take your time back and be well. Your wellness is key to your dog being well. Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Tunbridge home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Tunbridge.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Tunbridge sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in VT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
