I was impressed with the facilities Samantha had in place for the care of dogs. When collecting our pet, it was clear he was comfortable being in Samantha’s care which tells me he was well cared for. “Kasey watched our pups for the weekend while my partner and I attended a wedding. Both our pups, and let’s be honest, ourselves, have separation anxiety, but Kasey put us all at ease. She was very attentive and interactive with our pups easing their anxiety. She sent us regular photos and updates of our fur babies of their various adventures, cuddles sessions, and tug of war matches reminding us they were in good hands. Our pups can be a handful, but Kasey did such a wonderful job with them. We will definitely use Kasey again in the future! :)”

About: I have been walking and pet sitting since I was younger. I would watch and walk my neighbors dog for them when they went away. I recently graduated from UVM with my B.S in animal science hoping to go to Vet school in the future. I have worked with more than just dogs and cats, but livestock too. I work at a vet clinic as a vet technician right now and walk/ pet sit for families in the area now. I work a full time job at a vet clinic but have availability before and after work, as well as weekends. My hours do vary on certain days so feel free to reach out regardless! I do have a good size backyard. It is not fenced in but I have do have 4.5 acres of land behind my house. There are also walk/hiking trails down the road from my house.

“AnnaRose kept in touch and provided photos of my dogs obediently sitting in their beds and playing with each other. She took them to their favorite park for long walks. The dogs seemed well-exercised and fed according to instructions. They seemed to like AnnaRose and her pups and though they were excited to see us, they were just their normal selves, not exhausted or hyper. It was clear they bonded with her and she with them. I will use AnnaRose again for sure. Very pleased with her kind and conscientious service.”

“Cindy was extremely flexible in boarding our German Shepherd for a week at the last minute. Her two dogs got along well with our dog and they loved to play together. She sent us lots of pictures. Her husband even bought our dog some doggie ice cream. Our dog absolutely had a great time and loved being there. I highly recommend you have Cindy board your dog.”

About: I have lived with dogs my whole life- from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I have trained puppies (am currently doing so now) and cared for the sweetest senior dogs. I have a large home and yard, free of children but with one friendly puppy. I am very patient and loving, and will appreciate any animal personality I am presented with. I have a smaller fenced in area off my back door. I am available for all services anytime on weekends but also work from home on Mondays. I’m available for walks and drop-in visits each week night after 4, and sometimes during my lunch break if you happen to live near downtown Montpelier! I frequently bring dogs for leashed walks throughout their time with me, whether its around my large yard or somewhere new like a bike path. I do not provide a crate but rather try to mostly stay with a dog throughout the duration of their stay, and allow them full access to my home at all times. I like to treat them as family but also do whatever will make them feel most comfortable and secure.

“Piper was an excellent host for Teddy! They took lots of long walks and went swimming in the local pond. Piper gave him lots of attention and sent great pictures of him having fun. She wrote long notes about what they did and how Teddy was doing several times during his week-long stay. Teddy will definitely go back there for more fun when we need a dog sitter again!”
