“Journey loves being with Janet and her family. He is definitely a part of their pack when I am away and that makes me feel good knowing he is comfortable and loved. 10 out of 10 highly recommend.”

“Savannah was so sweet and very good with Ella! She was very understanding and welcoming of Ella's periods of excitement. We will absolutely be booking with Savannah again! Thank you!”

“Nicole was absolutely wonderful with Atlas! She was incredibly caring and attentive to his needs, and I loved that she sent me updates throughout his stay. It made such a difference being able to see him happy and settled, giving me 100% confident that he was in great hands and being well taken care of the entire time! 🤍 Would recommend and book again.”

“Julie kept our two young, super playful and energetic dogs for us while we went out of town for a couple of days and a night. She kept some other dogs, as well, that ours were able to play and interact with, and they seemed to have the best time! It was a vacation for all of us! We really appreciated the care and attention our two received, and we would definitely recommend Julie and hopefully use her again ourselves.”

“Tory was amazing with Enzo!! Always kept me frequently updated me on how he was. In all the pictures you could tell he was very happy and smiley. Will definitely book her again!!!!”

“Abby watched Tobi and Maki for a little over a week while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for better care! Her communication was incredible- she sent frequent photos, videos, and updates, including the cutest clips of her interacting with our dogs and their dog Theon playing with Maki! It gave us so much peace of mind while traveling. She lives right by plenty of grassy areas and parks, so our pups got tons of outdoor time, walks, and enrichment. She was also super accommodating with our dogs’ very specific breakfast routine and followed all instructions perfectly. When we got home, Tobi and Maki were both happy and relaxed, which tells us everything we need to know about how well they were cared for. We would absolutely book Abby again. She’s truly a gem!”

“Cashmere loves Tara and so do I. I love the fact she has other dogs that Cashmere can socialize with. It allows her to become better acquainted and become more tolerable. She also helpful for first time pet owners like me who allow their puppy to do things that they shouldn’t but she help coach the parents.”

“Jessie is the best when it comes to looking after my dogs. She is very responsive and active when it comes to updates on furry friends. Overall 10/10 pet sitter and would highly recommend!”

“Brooke was awesome. My cat is very nervous but she felt right at home with Brooke from day one! Book her! You will not have to worry about your furry loved one at all.”

“Easy five stars, communication was clear and fast. Daily video/photos keep me updated. I can tell my puppy had a great time with Gage! Thank you!”

“Morgan and her little girl were absolutely amazing with both of our dogs who are quite challenging. Both of them are older and one is very special needs hands-down best ROVER thank you Miss Morgan you’re the bomb.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have always been around animals, especially dogs. I’ve helped care for them for as long as I can remember, and now I have two dogs of my own, a Yorkie and a Pomsky. I know that every dog is different, so I’m happy to stick to whatever routine they’re used to, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I also have a very flexible schedule right now, so I’m pretty available throughout the day and not just before or after normal work hours. I also don’t try to squeeze a lot of visits into one day, so I can give your pup plenty of attention and take my time with them. I’m big on sending pictures and updates too because I know I’d want the same if someone was watching my babies. I’ll always do my best to make sure your pup feels comfortable, cared for, and gets lots of attention while you’re away ❤️ I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable, attentive care for your pets. I'm available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and doggy daycare on most weekdays and weekends. I will always do my best to accommodate your schedule and make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and care while you're away! Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each pet and follow their routine as closely as possible. Whether I'm stopping by for a drop-in visit, taking your dog for a walk, or caring for them during daycare, I'll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), playtime, potty breaks, and any special requests. I always provide plenty of updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. If your dog joins me for daycare, all interactions are carefully supervised, and I can separate dogs if needed to ensure everyone remains safe and comfortable.
“I've found my forever sitter for Wesley! Justin and his wife are super! It takes special people to handle all the energy Wesley has to expend! Somehow, Wesley was quite calm at their house. Maybe Wesley felt special, spoiled and free. He will be returning that's for sure.”

“Lauren and her daughters were absolutely amazing with our Rover! They welcomed him into their home and truly made him part of their family. He was loved, spoiled, and cared for as if he were their own. He was never crated or confined, but free to roam, play, and enjoy all the love and attention they gave him. And honestly, that’s what matters most to us. Knowing Rover was so happy, comfortable, and loved gave us such peace of mind. He was a happy camper, and so were we! Thank you so much, Lauren and fam, for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
95% of sitters in Quito can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Quito home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Quito.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Quito. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
You and your Quito sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
