“Kiki was able to take a last minute booking when I discovered I wasn't going to get home to serve dinner. She had to get feeding instructions via the Rover messaging system. She was flexible and accommodating, and really saved the day.”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 14. I have loved animals since I was born and am able to administer medications and also insulin if needed. My first pet sitting actually involved small farm animals too! I work at Yard house, a restaurant in the Palmdale valley. While I can work late hours I will always make sure your animal’s care comes first and foremost. I currently do not have my own home as I am renting a room. I sadly am not able to offer board and care in my own home at this time.
“BEST IN THE BUSINESS! Andrew really made our dogs feel right at home with him. The attention he gives them and love he brings them is incredible, treated them like they were his own. Definitely will be our first pick..EVERYTIME!”

Can follow your routine you have established already. Can add more or less depending on the needs of your animals or what you might want for them. About: I’ve volunteered at an animal rescue since I was ten years old. I took care of cats, dogs, birds, and even some livestock. I adore every animal I meet, I even have 2 fur babies of my own and I take pride in making sure they’re happy and healthy. I’m currently working part-time and I am also a part-time student. I’m free most weekends but I am always happy to move around my schedule if needed. I make sure to walk my dog and take her to the park whenever I can. Exercise and social time is something I take very seriously with my animals. I hope you trust that I’ll do the same for you!
About: I have 2 large dogs and one cat. I have raised a few foster pups over the years and helped my wife nurse a few foster kittens back to health. I am home full time and can care for animals. I take my pets out to the fenced yard and let them do their business and play a bit before I bring them in. Pets in my home would be fenced in with all entrances locked with proper gates. At the clients home, I would follow their rules about dog or cat safety.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine passion for animals and my commitment to treating every pet like family. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to gentle seniors, and I understand that each one has their own personality and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and great at reading animal body language, which helps me build trust quickly. If your pet needs medication, special care, or a consistent training routine, I’ve got it covered. I’m also familiar with basic training techniques and can help reinforce good behaviors while you’re away. Whether it’s energetic playtime, slow walks for older dogs, or cozy cuddle sessions, I adapt to what your pet needs to feel happy and safe. As a housewife, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, attention, and care they deserve throughout the day. I’m usually home, which means your pet won’t be left alone for long hours and can enjoy consistent companionship, playtime, and potty breaks. Because I’m already managing a home, I’m organized, reliable, and used to balancing responsibilities—so caring for pets fits naturally into my daily routine. Whether it’s feeding, walking, play, or simply offering comfort and love, I’m always ready to make your pet feel at home and cared for. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always to make them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and a calm environment where your pet will be treated like part of the family. I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bedtime rituals—to help them feel right at home. I provide plenty of attention, snuggles, and supervision throughout the day.

First time hiring Kiki to look after our fur babies and we couldn't be more pleased! She was on top of everything, the girls got fed their special snowflake diet, and we got detailed updates to keep our minds at ease while we were away. Would happily use her services again.

Caitlin was absolutely amazing! She put my mind at ease with all the detailed check ins, photos, and even videos! My cats were so well taken care of while I was away. I would definitely schedule with Caitlin if you want someone you can trust to take good care of your pets!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
