I’m all about the pug life
My love of pets started when I was a kid! I started pet sitting in elementary school with neighbors and family friends. I was also a 4H kid growing up, so I have experience with many dog breeds and even started training my own dog in middle school. High needs pets aren’t a problem, whether it’s teething puppies or senior dogs on multiple medications; I’ve taken care of them all! Typically I would find jobs word of mouth but I have moved recently and am looking for new families to help out. Currently I can’t have pets in my home so I would give all my love to your furry friends.

Safety, trust & environment
I can accommodate the schedule that your pet has become accustomed to. Depending on distance, I am willing to stop by your home 2-3 times a day to take care of your pets needs or stay most of the day for overnight stays. I will even water house plants. For dog walking, I will always keep your pet on a leash and exercise caution when around your pet’s stressors or triggers.

If I could give Alyssa more than 5 stars, I would. She truly came to our rescue after a friend canceled on us the night before we had to leave for a funeral out of state. We were scrambling to find someone we could trust with our two cats and our dog on incredibly short notice, and Alyssa stepped in without hesitation. What started as an incredibly stressful situation turned into one where we were able to travel with complete peace of mind because of her. From the very beginning, her communication was outstanding. She kept us updated throughout our trip, sent thoughtful messages and lots of wonderful photos, and it was obvious she genuinely enjoyed spending time with our pets—not just checking boxes. Every update made us smile and reassured us that they were in the best hands. The biggest compliment I can give is that when we came home, our pets were happy, relaxed, and acting completely like themselves. Anyone who has pets knows they can become clingy or anxious after you're gone, but it was clear they had received so much love, attention, and affection that they weren't attention-starved at all. Alyssa treated them like family, and that means everything to us. On top of that, our home was exactly as we left it—clean, organized, and well cared for. She treated all our pets and our home with genuine respect. I know Alyssa is a newer sitter, but don't let that make you hesitate for a second. She is dependable, compassionate, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and will absolutely be booking with her again. If you're looking for someone who will care for your pets as if they were her own, Alyssa is the person you want.
Alyssa was fantastic! She alleviated all of our stress of leaving him by keeping us up to date on his care and daily activities. He’s an anxious GSD and she handled it so well and kept him entertained all week 😊. She even tidied the house up and started a load of laundry before we got home. Definitely recommend!
Lincoln had a great time with Alyssa who took excellent care of him and the house. She left the house spotless and it was such a treat to come home to a happy doggo and a clean home. Would love to have her back in the future.
Alyssa was great! Our pups were happy and got lots of walks and attention. She left our place very clean too! We highly recommend her.

Schedule
My schedule is currently very flexible! Weekdays are open for care at any time of day and weekends are generally good, especially if I have a week or two heads up.
