The number one thing ive learned from any animal is showing respect for boundaries gets you far. Theyre showing you what theyre okay with and its important to listen within reason. Depending on distance, I am willing to stop by your home 2-3 times a day to take care of your pets needs or stay most of the day for overnight stays. I will even water house plants. For dog walking, I will always keep your pet on a leash and exercise caution when around your pet’s stressors or triggers.

I volunteered at an animal adoption sanctuary several times during the week to help socialize dozens of puppies & kittens as well as senior dogs & cats to get them ready for adoption. It’s bittersweet investing time into the younger ones & saying “goodbye” as they go into their new homes but I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I work in administration for Elementary Education & my life is quite hectic! However, I am most available after 4pm M-F & all day Saturday & after 1pm Sundays. As mentioned, I volunteered at an animal adoption sanctuary that was run out of the founder’s lovely home. I have bottle fed & rocked to sleep kittens that were small enough to fit into the palm of my hand & maintained their feeding schedule. I’ve also periodically helped injured dogs and taken them to vet appointments when needed! Now, I have a cozy apart in East Garland that is my safe place & it would be a safe place for your pet too!
