About: I have grown up with dogs. The past 10+ years I have cared for other peoples dogs. I understand how uneasy people feel about leaving their pooch in a Kennel, simply because their dog is their world and they would rather have their dog have home comforts whilst you are apart. Married but we have no children so am able to offer a calm environment for those dogs that are mature or nervous of bangs and loud noises. Likewise I have the time and energy for those dogs that need a little more play time. I have a neutered schnoodle that is mature enough to chill but also enjoys a play. I work part time from home. So I am able to offer your pooch a lot of time and love, be it walks or just company. I have an enclosed, secure garden, mainly walled with gated access which is locked. It is completely private. It is not a large garden, but it certainly offers a dog enough space to stretch their legs, chase a ball or just chill on the patio.
About: I've been taking care of many pets of many different sizes from small dogs and cats to dogs so big they're basically a bear! Typically I sit for family friends or neighbors. Im currently a house wife, and I serve at church Wednesday and Sunday so ill have plenty of time to take care of your pets! Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings I will be busy. When is a client's home I like to take the dog out and play ball, I always make sure they cool down before drinking too much water, I like to go though the tricks I know that they can do, take them on walks and of course give them lots of pets!
About: |English & Spanish| 🐾Hello! I bring extensive hands on experience from my current role at a doggy daycare, where I manage, exercise, and care for dogs of every size from tiny Chihuahuas to large Mastiffs. I am comfortable handling diverse temperaments and maintaining a safe, structured environment. My dedication to animal welfare is further demonstrated by my active, consistent volunteer work at our local animal shelter, where I provide enrichment and comfort to dogs and cats awaiting their forever homes. 🐾 since I do currently work at a doggy daycare my schedule is limited, but I will update every week what days I am available or feel free to ask! 🐾 Providing updates, photos, or videos via apps or text to keep you informed on your furry friend and ensuring your furry friend has a safe and suitable environment.

“We went on a trip for 9 days and Annie did a check-in and a walk each day for us. It was great because our dog got to have some people company twice a day. Annie was quick to get in touch with us when there was a small hitch at the house, and she even did a little extra for us. Thanks Annie!!!!”

About: I’ve volunteered at an animal rescue since I was ten years old. I took care of cats, dogs, birds, and even some livestock. I adore every animal I meet, I even have 2 fur babies of my own and I take pride in making sure they’re happy and healthy. I’m currently working part-time and I am also a part-time student. I’m free most weekends but I am always happy to move around my schedule if needed. I make sure to walk my dog and take her to the park whenever I can. Exercise and social time is something I take very seriously with my animals. I hope you trust that I’ll do the same for you!
“Monica did a great job walking karma! She was on time and very sweet with her. She didn’t walk too long in case it got hot and walked her longer when it was cooler just like I asked ❤️”

About: My love of pets started when I was a kid! I started pet sitting in elementary school with neighbors and family friends. I was also a 4H kid growing up, so I have experience with many dog breeds and even started training my own dog in middle school. High needs pets aren’t a problem, whether it’s teething puppies or senior dogs on multiple medications; I’ve taken care of them all! Typically I would find jobs word of mouth but I have moved recently and am looking for new families to help out. Currently I can’t have pets in my home so I would give all my love to your furry friends. My schedule is currently very flexible! Weekdays are open for care at any time of day and weekends are generally good, especially if I have a week or two heads up. I can accommodate the schedule that your pet has become accustomed to. Depending on distance, I am willing to stop by your home 2-3 times a day to take care of your pets needs or stay most of the day for overnight stays. I will even water house plants. For dog walking, I will always keep your pet on a leash and exercise caution when around your pet’s stressors or triggers.
About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Growing up around animals has taught me how important patience, consistency, and love are when caring for them. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, or just some extra attention while you're away, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for, while giving you peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule and make time for walks, feeding, playtime, and giving pets the attention and care they deserve. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved is always a priority. Making sure they can’t get into anything harmful. I make sure they’re leashed every walk and that nothing harms the pet whatsoever. They’re in good hands.
About: My love for dogs started when I was just 6 years old when I got my first dog Katie, an Alaskan husky, and it has only grown stronger ever since. From a young age, family friends and neighbors trusted me to care for their beloved pets by walking, feeding, bathing, and giving each one the attention and affection they deserved. I have always treated every dog in my care as if they were my own, and that commitment hasn't changed. Today, I bring that same lifelong passion and hands on experience to every booking. Whether your pup needs a energetic walk, a calm overnight stay, or simply some extra love while you're away, you can count on me to provide attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority. I am available for walks Monday through Saturday, with a preference for early morning appointments, though I am flexible to accommodate your schedule. I do not offer walking services on Sundays or major federal holidays. If you have any specific instructions, preferred routes, or behavioral notes about your dogs, I welcome that information to make every walk as smooth as possible. When caring for pets in my client's home, my priority is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I follow the owner's feeding schedule, walking times, and any specific instructions to ensure the pet experiences little to no disruption while they are away. I make sure fresh water is always available, the space is kept tidy, and that each pet receives plenty of attention, playtime, and affection throughout every visit. For dog walking, I take the time to understand each dog's behavior and energy level before heading out, walking up to two dogs at a time from the same litter to keep every outing safe and enjoyable. No matter the service, I treat every pet with the same patience and love I would give my own.

About: I have dealt with many different pet personalities and genuinely care about their needs. I aim to give your four-legged friends the attention they deserve. I believe that a dog should have the ability to see what outside looks like, and visit different areas such as parks. I also believe that all pets act a certain way for a reason, and shouldn't be yelled at, or treated badly if they aren't 'easy-going' or 'social'. Personally, my love for pets started when I got my first dog as five years old. Named him Rocky after the boxer, Rocky Balboa. Unfortunately, he passed away two years ago from old age. He was blind, but he still recognized my voice...which was pretty amazing. Rocky showed me that a dog could truly be a man's best friend. I pledge to give the upmost care to your best friend. I currently work from home, so I will have plenty of time to play, walk, and give your pet the love they need while you’re away. I will carefully review your instructions in order to provide the best and safest environment for your pet(s). My services will be provided at a level that gives you and your pet maximum comfort.
About: Being a pet owner my whole life has allowed me to understand dogs very well! I’ve dealt with bigger breeds like German Shepards and Pitt bulls, smaller breeds have always gotten along well with my demeanor. I have majority of the day to walk or take dogs to a park or allow them to explore the deserts. Let me know your dogs preference of activity. I stick to the rules, let me know what your dogs need or if they have anything that is specific for them that needs to get done!
“Anna showed up on time, I felt I could trust her to take care of my dog while I was away. She handled him well on his walks keeping him out of trouble, my wife said he comes back a happy boy. I would not hesitate to hire her again.”

“Lexee is amazing with our 3 dogs and they absolutely love her. She has high energy - needed to keep up with my 3 monsters 😉, and a true love for your pets. She has been completely reliable and responsible. Our pets have stayed with her and she provides dog walking for us daily. Being new to the area always makes it hard to trust someone with my fur babies but she’s helped us tremendously. We love Lexee!!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Quartz Hill
Kiki did a wonderful job for us. She was friendly and energetic and displayed a genuine interest in our dog Tash. She was prompt and even spent more time than scheduled. Our dog warmed up to her very rapidly and that is perhaps the greatest testimony to Kiki's professionalism and spirit that she brings to her job. I highly recommend Kiki to everyone!
I trusted Kiki walking my dog. She is bright, positive. Listened to my instructions. She showed up on time, took great care of my dog, and kept him out of trouble. I would love to hire her again in the future. She also took some wonderful photo's of my dog and kept me informed so I could relax knowing my dog, my son, was being cared for.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
