About: Hi! I’m a huge animal lover with 3+ years of hands on experience caring for pets. I currently have two pugs and six cats, so I’m very familiar with pets having BIG personalities and needing lots of attention, patience, and love. I especially love caring for dogs, whether that means going on walks, playing, giving them lots of attention, or just keeping them company while you’re away. My own dogs are pretty needy, so I’m definitely comfortable with pets who want to be around you 24/7! I’ve cared for cats for about two years as well, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s individual personality and routine. I’ll treat your pets with the same patience and care I’d want someone to give mine. 🐶🐱❤️ I’m currently a college student and work part-time at a restaurant, but I only work about two shifts a week, so I have a pretty open and flexible schedule! I have classes in the afternoons/evenings Monday–Thursday, but my mornings and most weekends are available. My work schedule can vary, so I’m always happy to communicate and work around your needs. I have plenty of time on my hands and would love to find a schedule that works for both of us, so feel free to reach out! I’m currently only offering pet sitting in the pet owner’s home, not in my own home. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I know pets are most comfortable when they can stay in their familiar environment, so I’ll do my best to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to keep you updated with pictures and messages so you know how your pet is doing!
About: I have taken care of pets for much of my life, especially cats and dogs, mine and my family's. Currently in my home I have eight cute and adorable cats. I have several availability for pet care, for the night I only have availability for cats since I have eight cats and I cannot accept dogs for sleeping, however for walking I have availability from 2:30 p.m. onwards. I have a large patio especially for the cats that we call catio, it has toys and some small logs that they can climb on. I really like dogs and I would be happy to walk them for as long as necessary, we can also run or play.

I will be away for college beginning in late September, but plan to be home on weekends occasionally. I will also be home during breaks around holidays, and should be available most weekends and holidays. About: My wife, Mia, and I have dealt with many different pet personalities and genuinely care about their needs. We aim to give your four-legged friends the attention they deserve. We also believe that all pets act a certain way for a reason, and shouldn't be yelled at, or treated badly if they aren't 'easy-going' or 'social'. Personally, my love for pets started when I got my first dog as five years old. Named him Rocky after the boxer, Rocky Balboa. Unfortunately, he passed away two years ago from old age. He was blind, but he still recognized my voice...which was pretty amazing. Rocky showed me that a dog could truly be a man's best friend. I pledge to give the upmost care to your best friend. My wife is pregnant and often at home as my work schedule changes. So we will have plenty of time to play, walk, and give your pet the love they need while you’re away. We will carefully review your instructions in order to provide the best and safest environment for your pet(s). My services will be provided at a level that gives you and your pet maximum comfort.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Excited to meet your little buddy! I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I can spend lots of time with your pet. Available all week including weekends and overnight stays. I let the animals roam the house, offer lots of petting and cuddles and can take dogs for several walks a day. Feel free to provide any special care instructions.
“When it came to selecting a dog-walker I got extremely lucky with Maddie. After breaking my ankle I needed someone to walk my dogs right away and Maddie was able to start the next day,. She is on time every day and flexible for a couple time changes I needed. She is excellent with my golden retriever and pug mix. They love Maddie and can’t wait for their daily walks.”

About: Hey, I’m Chelsey! I’ve always been a lover of animals. I volunteered at an animal adoption sanctuary several times during the week to help socialize dozens of puppies & kittens as well as senior dogs & cats to get them ready for adoption. It’s bittersweet investing time into the younger ones & saying “goodbye” as they go into their new homes but I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I work in administration for Elementary Education & my life is quite hectic! However, I am most available after 4pm M-F & all day Saturday & after 1pm Sundays. As mentioned, I volunteered at an animal adoption sanctuary that was run out of the founder’s lovely home. I have bottle fed & rocked to sleep kittens that were small enough to fit into the palm of my hand & maintained their feeding schedule. I’ve also periodically helped injured dogs and taken them to vet appointments when needed! Now, I have a cozy apart in East Garland that is my safe place & it would be a safe place for your pet too!

“Lexee is amazing with our 3 dogs and they absolutely love her. She has high energy - needed to keep up with my 3 monsters 😉, and a true love for your pets. She has been completely reliable and responsible. Our pets have stayed with her and she provides dog walking for us daily. Being new to the area always makes it hard to trust someone with my fur babies but she’s helped us tremendously. We love Lexee!!!”

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Antelope Acres. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Antelope Acres.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Antelope Acres. On Rover:
- 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
