“Samantha was terrific! We are very fussy leaving our labrador, Paddington, with anyone. We met with her beforehand, and we instantly knew that everything would be fine. She is extremely reliable, kept in touch with us consistently, and we were very pleased with her stay. We would happily use her again.. We would recommend her to anybody!!”

“Mark is fantastic! We used him as a sitter for our pups over a holiday weekend and not only did they love him, but we did too. Mark's love for dogs is clear so it made trusting him with our fluffy kids much easier. We definitely plan on using Mark again in the future. Thank you sir!”

About: I have had animals my whole life and I currently have two dogs and three cats. I’ve trained one of my current dogs and one of my previous dogs, giving me experience with basic training and routines. I’ve also dog-sat for others and always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I treat every pet like my own and pay close attention to their individual needs. I am home for the summer from college, and am able to be very flexible. I have almost all weekends free, and will work during the week as well. While home for the summer I live with a house full of pets, as well as having animals at school. I am perfectly capable of working with your animals in your own home as I am a trustworthy, responsible and reliable person with a great love for animals.
About: Hello! I'm Selena, a student at Skidmore college, doing research over the summer. Back home, I'm the owner of one dog as well as two cats, and I regularly dog sit for my friends and family members. My love of animals is well known and I'm always their go-to for pet sitting, as they know I'm always happy to do it. My current Bernedoodle has been with me since she was just a puppy, so I'm very aware of how much care and attention puppies need. I've also cared for dogs on the older side, and I'm open to dogs of all ages and sizes! Caring for pets is very important to me, so much so that when I do not have an animal to care for (i.e. when I'm alone at school), I become very sad. Growing up, taking care of animals every day was very important to me. I am unfortunately a college student living in on-campus housing, so I am unable to care for pets in my own space. However, I make sure pets are happy in my client's home and makes sure to keep the space maintained well!
“She is the best with our pups! They adore and she takes really good care of them. Is very careful and attentive with our one dogs allergies, making sure he doesn’t eat his sisters food, which we are so greatful for!”

“When my usual pet sitter was out of town recently and I needed someone pretty last minute, I frantically started looking for someone to come for my dog and cat’s first in-home overnight stay. Libby was SO sweet, accommodating and patient with me, and immediately seemed to have a connection with my fur babies. She was prompt and courteous, and kept in touch during the stay including pictures. I’ll absolutely be calling Libby again!”
About: I cared for my own dog for 7 years and have experience fostering, so I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy looking after your pet. Having that experience made me truly love caring for animals, and I’m excited to continue helping pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’ve also house sat and dog sat for several families, handling everything from daily walks and feeding schedules to staying overnight. I’m very dependable, communicative and respectful of both pets and homes, and i always make sure animals feel safe, comfortable and cared for. I’m currently a college student at Flagler College home for the summer, so I have a very flexible schedule and lots of free time. Per care fits easily into my daily routine since I already go on long daily walks and I am able to give your pet plenty of attention, walks and care throughout the day. I take safety and trust very seriously and always treat every pet like my own. I make sure to follow any instructions carefully, keep a clean and secure environment and communicate regularly so you feel comfortable while your away.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of individualized care and attention I give every dog. I don’t just “watch” pets — I truly get to know their personalities, routines, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience training puppies, including basic commands, leash manners, crate training, and reinforcing positive behaviors. I’m also confident caring for senior dogs who may need a slower pace, extra patience, or mobility support. Whether your pup is high-energy and playful or calm and cuddly, I adapt to their unique temperament. I prioritize clear communication, regular photo updates, and creating a stress-free experience for both pets and owners. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and well-being always come first. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine — I intentionally structure my schedule to make sure I have dedicated, unhurried time for each dog. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, playtime, feeding schedules, or evening cuddles, I plan my days around the pets in my care so they receive consistent attention and companionship. I build flexibility into my week to accommodate different energy levels and needs, from active pups who love longer walks to seniors who prefer shorter, gentler outings. Because I prioritize reliability and routine, your dog can count on consistent care, and you can count on dependable communication and updates. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in — it’s something I genuinely make space for. In My Home: When pets stay with me, I create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment that feels as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow your feeding schedules, potty routines, exercise needs, and any specific instructions you provide. Dogs receive plenty of supervised playtime, walks, mental stimulation, and affection. I’m mindful of introductions (if other pets are present), keep the space clean and secure, and make sure every dog has a comfortable area to rest and relax. In Your Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their usual routine to reduce stress. I stick closely to feeding times, walks, and preferred activities. I also respect your home by keeping things tidy, bringing in mail if requested, and ensuring everything is secure before I leave. My goal is to make your absence feel as smooth and normal as possible for your pet. For both services, I prioritize safety, communication, and regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every animal as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.
About: I don’t just love animals, I have been around them since the day I was born. I have had cats, dogs, birds, and small rodents since I was born. I have taken care of these animals from a very young age and believe I have a natural understanding of pets and their behaviors! I currently work full time at a middle school in Albany where my hours are 8 AM to 3 PM. Otherwise, I am usually free and have more availability on weekends, during school breaks and over the summer. I currently am a cat mom and keep all of my cats indoors. When I owned dogs and other animals in the past, I make sure to tend to their unique needs whether that mean adhering to a medication regimen or putting them in their cage/crate as needed.
“Veronica house sat for us and she did a super job with the animals, including giving medicine for our older dog. Would use her again and hope to have her back when ever we go away.”

“Monique was such a wonderful sitter! She was responsible, communicative and took great care of Bear! I would highly recommend her for any sitter needs! Thank you, Monique, I felt so comfortable that Bear was in great hands!”

“I am so glad that I found Angela! She took such amazing care of my 3 little loves last weekend. I don't leave them often and if you knew how adorable they are you'd understand why. I also am super protective of them and my first born is on a whole lot of meds because he is 16. This did not faze Angela at all ... she was so conscientious with reading the notes and making sure my baby got all his meds at the right dose and at the right time. One of my other little ones struggles with strangers. Angela wanted to do everything she could to help him adjust by stopping by tow more times after the meet and greet to help him get acclimated to her. My other baby just wanted to be her best friend and Angela gave him that time and attention. I came home and I could tell my pups felt good and were happy and that was so important to me. We love our new babysitter!!”

“Evelyn is wonderful with our furbabies! Took very good care of them and very communicative, sharing updates and photos while we were gone. I look forward to working with Evelyn again.”

“Repeat customer, Stephanie (Net) is the best and goes above and beyond. We have a bunch of pets including a senior dog and a high energy middle age pup (cats, a lizard, oh my!) and she’s great with everyone. Highly recommend!”

“Nicole is one amazing cat sitter......in fact Dulcie (our cat) calls Nicole her own, very wonderful house guest!!! Dulcie is almost 14 years old and pretty set in her ways. During COVID and after we have not gone away for more than 2 nights (and rarely). But.......now......our daughter was getting married. We made plans to leave for 5 days and we were worried. Nicole told me not to worry and she was absolutely right! She handled the pill-giving, the fussy eating, and the late night meows with lots of brushing (a favorite activity of Dulcie's) kitty talk and kitty kisses. And Nicole always got back to us with photos and stories about what was going on with Dulcie! I recommend Nicole 100%! Absolutely! Nicole is a gem! And I want to add that she also took beautiful care of our apartment! She is amazing!”

“Amanda was a great communicator and super great with our pup! Also very gracious and flexible when our airline travel plans were changed. Will definitely book again and recommend!”

“Alexa stayed with my two dogs for 8 days while I was on a recent trip. She sent pictures and updates everyday and my dogs and house were very well cared for. She even accommodated my ask for a family member to stop by mid-week to check in since I’ve never left my dogs for this long before. Her regular updates made it so I could enjoy my trip knowing my dogs were being well cared for at home!”

Quaker Springs pet parents share their Rover experiences
Danielle was great. She was very responsive and adaptable, which gave us confidence that our dog and cat were in good hands. There were a few times we caught her on the Ring camera playing with our dog, and it was obvious that Nova loved her. Our dog got her regular walks, and it was apparent when we came home that the cat was well taken care of, too. Danielle is someone who can be trusted with your home and your pets, and I look forward to hiring her again in the future.
