About: I’m very particularly clean and have always been picky about staying clean and organized. Making sure the litter box area is clean, food and water bowls etc. :) I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with pups! My work schedule does vary week to week but I’m just looking to make some extra money on the side. At home i have 2 German shepherds that are very active and love to play. We have a very large open backyard that they roam freely. I frequently watch dogs that are leash only and love a good walk! I also have 2 cats and always make sure they have food and a clean water bowl and litter box. We are very strict in my house and always make sure the litter box is clean and the surrounding areas!
About: I’m a full-time work-from-home professional who loves dogs and provides dependable, attentive care you can trust. As a responsible adult with a flexible schedule, I’m available to help whenever your furry friend needs a walk, a visit, or loving care whether it’s part of your routine or a last-minute request. I can care for pets throughout the day and week depending on needs. I have intermittent travel and work depending on the time of year. Whether I’m caring for your dog in your home or mine, I treat them like family. I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and preferences so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. From feeding and walks to playtime, companionship, and plenty of attention, I provide personalized care tailored to your dog’s unique needs while treating your home with the utmost respect.
About: I have many years of experience working as a veterinary technician and caring for animals. I have 3 dogs of my own and 3 horses. I believe dogs are family members and allow dogs to relax in the comfort of my home. I live on a beautiful farm in saratoga and would like the opportunity to meet you and your fury family members. I work full time from home so I am never not home while your animal is here. This eliminates the need to crate animals and stress them out in an unfamiliar environment. I have a fenced yard and multiple safety gates to ensure no animal can get out. I own 3 personal dogs and allow all pets in and on my furniture.

About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old! I love having pets in my home and making them a part of my family. My dog loves every dog she has ever met and loves to have a playmate! If you bring your pet to my house they will be treated like one of my family members! I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30-4, but my husband works from home and I am home all day during the weekends. My husband also loves dogs and has plenty of free time during his work day to take walks and give lots of love! I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room for running. We are on a cul de sac so there is very little traffic in my part of the neighborhood. My home also has several baby gates to make sure that your pet is safe if I have to leave them in the house for a short amount of time.
“Abigail has been really reliable and has done a great job of taking our dog for long walks and tiring him out. We’re really happy with her service. Definitely recommend her!”

“Although I didn’t get to meet McKenna , all went well as she responded quite quickly to a last minute booking .it was the first time using the rover site so it was quite amazing to get such feedback for just a one time walk .very reassuring to help with my fur baby . Look forward to more walks and overnights maybe .”

About: Hi! My name is Jaya, and animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! I have a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and currently work as a Veterinary Assistant, giving me hands-on experience caring for animals and understanding their individual needs. I’ve been caring for and pet sitting animals since I was 12 years old, and I truly treat every pet like they are my own. Whether your furry friend needs walks, playtime, medication, feeding, or simply some extra love and attention while you’re away, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. With my veterinary experience and lifelong passion for animals, you can feel confident knowing your pet is in caring and capable hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! 🐾❤️ I am currently working Mondays-Thursdays with lunch breaks around 12-1 P.M. I am able to do overnights on days I work and check in for potty breaks and some play time on my lunch on these days. Otherwise I have open availability! :) When caring for pets in their home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I follow each pet parent’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special care needs. I love giving pets plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment while also respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. As a Veterinary Assistant with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and years of experience caring for animals, I’m comfortable recognizing changes in behavior and making sure pets are safe and well cared for. I also treat every home with the same respect and care I would give my own, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident their furry family members are happy and in good hands!
“I booked Josep last minute and they were very responsive and willing to lend a hand! My dogs were well cared for and got multiple water breaks during their walk! Very clear, quick communication I would book again😁”

About: I have been taking care of my personal pets and assisting family with theirs since I was about 12. I have experience mostly with cats and dogs(everything from feeding and bathing to grooming and administering medication, I don’t do nails though), but I can also take care of basic needs for birds such as feeding/water and cleaning cages. I currently do gig work so I have as much time as I need or you want to take care of your pets and make sure they get some love! Your home your rules! Just let me know how you like things and what you have in mind for the visits. I cant take pets into my own home as we are already at our 2 pet limit but I am more than happy to help figure out what works for you!

About: I've cared for and had dogs my entire life. I help family and friends with their dogs. I currently walk my own dog 3 times/day. I work from home part-time, and I am looking to walk a few dogs per day during the week, at flexible times, just not after 3 pm. I will not have pets in my home, or be doing any pet sitting. I will pick them up, walk them, and drop them back home.
About: I’ve had animals since I was a young girl. As a child we had cats. As a young adult I worked for a grooming, daycare, and boarding facility for 16 years. The only reason I stopped working was because of the birth of might twins.I also volunteered for a pet rescue, a pet shelter, and of course owned my own dogs, cats, and hamster. I’m a mom of 7! Some grown , some in college, and my youngest 2 are 9 year old twins. I have plenty of time during the days to walk, spend time, cuddle, and love on your furry family members. My specialty is mid day breaks/walks or check ins while you’re away or have a long day at work. I am aware of the tremendous responsibility it is caring for your pet. I have my own pups and kitties and will give the same love, care, and respect my babies receive.

“Mark was great at walking our dog Leo and keeping him company while we were out on Lake George. He was very communicative and sent pictures showing us that Leo was happy hanging with a new friend. We look forward to booking with him again.”

About: Hi, I am a mature and experienced pet owner. I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses, and loved my own dogs (Rottweiler, Boxers, Jack Russell and Frenchton) while raising my children. I am unfortunately not able to have my own pets due to where I live. I have traveled for work, sporting events and vacations and know the stress of finding care for my pets where they will feel loved and be well taken care of. I want to offer peace of mind to others when they cannot take their furry family members with them when traveling. I work from home so I will be able to treat you pet like my own. I will be there in the morning, evening, and throughout the day. I can bring my work supplies to you home (reliable wifi is required) to work. I am unable to care for pets in my home. When caring for your pet in your home I will follow the instructions you provide. I enjoy playing and hanging out with cats and dogs but also know not all cats and dogs are the same. Through conversation with you I will learn how best to interact with your pet to ensure there is a great experience for all. The boxers in my picture were mine. They live long spoiled lives, with lots of love and play time. The fawn with the white face was hand-signal trained and if you know boxers, you know that takes patience. They both love people of all ages and were as goofy and as lovable as their boxer reputation.
About: Aside from my 3 personal pets, I have raised 4 Seeing Eye dogs and pet sat for over a dozen families. I have experience in dog first aid, potty training, and reactive dogs. I love being able to take the dogs on either long walks or a quick potty break. I have a fenced in yard and a crate available for any size dog. I am aware of dog safe foods and carry Benadryl and hydrogen peroxide for emergencies.

I'm good with all size dogs, big or small. I look forward to meeting everyone and looking forward to meeting your dogs and your other furry friends! I do this full time now so whatever schedule they have I can do whatever they need for their stay to feel comfortable and happy. I treat the pet as if they are my own. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
