About: I don’t just love animals, I have been around them since the day I was born. I have had cats, dogs, birds, and small rodents since I was born. I have taken care of these animals from a very young age and believe I have a natural understanding of pets and their behaviors! I currently work full time at a middle school in Albany where my hours are 8 AM to 3 PM. Otherwise, I am usually free and have more availability on weekends, during school breaks and over the summer. I currently am a cat mom and keep all of my cats indoors. When I owned dogs and other animals in the past, I make sure to tend to their unique needs whether that mean adhering to a medication regimen or putting them in their cage/crate as needed.

About: I have had pets since I was 4 years old! I love having pets in my home and making them a part of my family. My dog loves every dog she has ever met and loves to have a playmate! If you bring your pet to my house they will be treated like one of my family members! I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30-4, but my husband works from home and I am home all day during the weekends. My husband also loves dogs and has plenty of free time during his work day to take walks and give lots of love! I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room for running. We are on a cul de sac so there is very little traffic in my part of the neighborhood. My home also has several baby gates to make sure that your pet is safe if I have to leave them in the house for a short amount of time.

I’ve cared for all kinds of breeds, from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Newfoundlands, and have experience with puppies as young as 3 weeks old as well as senior dogs up to 14 years old. I like to follow key safety precautions like using properly fitted leashes and harnesses, avoiding high-traffic or overstimulating areas when needed, checking gates and doors carefully, and always keeping a secure hold on pets when entering or exiting spaces. I also focus on building trust with each pet by moving at their pace, using calm and consistent body language, and allowing them to become comfortable with me before expecting too much interaction. I pay attention to their signals and respect their boundaries, which helps create a sense of safety and reliability. Over time, this helps pets feel more at ease with me, making walks and in home care smoother and more comfortable for them.

About: Hi, I am a mature and experienced pet owner. I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses, and loved my own dogs (Rottweiler, Boxers, Jack Russell and Frenchton) while raising my children. I am unfortunately not able to have my own pets due to where I live. I have traveled for work, sporting events and vacations and know the stress of finding care for my pets where they will feel loved and be well taken care of. I want to offer peace of mind to others when they cannot take their furry family members with them when traveling. I work from home so I will be able to treat you pet like my own. I will be there in the morning, evening, and throughout the day. I can bring my work supplies to you home (reliable wifi is required) to work. I am unable to care for pets in my home. When caring for your pet in your home I will follow the instructions you provide. I enjoy playing and hanging out with cats and dogs but also know not all cats and dogs are the same. Through conversation with you I will learn how best to interact with your pet to ensure there is a great experience for all. The boxers in my picture were mine. They live long spoiled lives, with lots of love and play time. The fawn with the white face was hand-signal trained and if you know boxers, you know that takes patience. They both love people of all ages and were as goofy and as lovable as their boxer reputation.

About: I have had animals my whole life and I currently have two dogs and three cats. I’ve trained one of my current dogs and one of my previous dogs, giving me experience with basic training and routines. I’ve also dog-sat for others and always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. I treat every pet like my own and pay close attention to their individual needs. I am home for the summer from college, and am able to be very flexible. I have almost all weekends free, and will work during the week as well. Starting late august I will be moving my location to my college town and will not be accepting requests for the Sville area! While home for the summer I live with a house full of pets, as well as having animals at school. I am perfectly capable of working with your animals in your own home as I am a trustworthy, responsible and reliable person with a great love for animals.

I currently have a 70 pound hound mix named Kane who I walk daily in the Ballston lake/Clifton Park area. I’m a technology professional who works from home 3 days a week which allows me the flexibility to care for your pet whether that means walks or drop ins. About: Aside from my 3 personal pets, I have raised 4 Seeing Eye dogs and pet sat for over a dozen families. I have experience in dog first aid, potty training, and reactive dogs. Socialization is important and I have the knowledge on how to do so safely for each individual dog. All breeds of dogs are welcome. I work from home and am available 24/7. I love being able to take the dogs on either long walks or a quick potty break. I have a fenced in yard and a crate available for any size dog. I am aware of dog safe foods and carry Benadryl and hydrogen peroxide for emergencies.
