“Juliana and her family embraced Aiden like one of their own. He was surrounded by love, constant attention, and she went above and beyond to make us feel secure and kept him safe. She kept in constant contact throughout the day with photo updates as well. I will work with Juliana EVERY single time as there is no one better who will value and love your pup as much she does!”

“I can’t recommend Alexandra enough! She has been taking care of my dog, Milo, for quite some time now, and I always have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in her care. She and family truly treat Milo like he’s their own. He’s always so well cared for, loved, and honestly spoiled in the best way possible. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she watches, and it shows in everything she does. She’s reliable, kind, attentive, and always keeps me updated, which means so much. Milo is always happy to see her, and that says it all. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, she’s the one. I wholeheartedly recommend her!”

“Carismeldi took fantastic care of my pup! She also sent plenty of updates and pics throughout this first stay which was reassuring. So thankful to have found her as a sitter. Looking forward to our dog staying with her again in a few weeks!”

“Patty is the absolute best! She took such great care of my dog Pippa for an extended stay. She was so kind and communicative. She treated my little girl like she was her own. She and her husband are truly dog whisperers.”

“Carly is awesome! We did a 3-night stay and her frequent communication and daily updates as well as photos gave us peace of mind. She was also flexible when our pick-up time ran a little later than expected. Highly recommend her services and will rebook in the future!”

“This is my first time using this website. It was last minute. Zenith accepted my request. Zenith is an excellent sitter, she took great care of my princess. She keep communicating with updates. I would highly recommend her, and would certainly use her services in the future. Thank you Zenith.”

“David was wonderful with my dog Rocco. This was the second time I used David, and he will be my go to guy for any future needs. He’s also so flexible if you need to drop off or pick up at a different hour than you originally planned. Highly recommend David.”

“George was fabulous with Cannoli! He was super responsive and sent me adorable photos of my baby throughout the stay. Cannoli enjoyed playing with George’s dogs who are also sweet and lovable! Would definitely book with George again!”

“Bryce was great with Alfie! It took Alfie some time to settle in which made me a bit nervous but Bryce ensured me that he had things under control and Alfie would be okay. He was even patient with me because I was worried! Bryce was also very accommodating when I had the dates incorrect due to the time zone. He quickly responded and modified the date. He was great! Thank you Bryce!”

“A last minute change to a planned trip made us look for a reasonable alternative to boarding which I won’t ever do again. Brian was proactive and professional in helping us solve our problem. He met our dog right away to make sure it was a good fit. Communication was plentiful (with pics) and we felt good knowing our dog was with someone who cared. We will use him again for sure.”

“Donte boarded my senior German Shepherd for 5 days including Christmas Day. She was well cared for, receiving her medications twice a day to manage her hip arthritis and pain from IVDD. She came home rested and without any signs of over exertion, which can be difficult to manage while other dogs are boarded. My only concern was that I had become used to Rover hires providing a daily update; I had not explicitly asked for this and Donte sent one unprompted update (on Christmas), but he was very quick to respond when I reached out to check in on her. He also offered an important observation at pick up about the length of my dogs back toenails, indicating careful attention to the dog’s wellbeing.”

“My dog who’s always home alone had the time of his life with his new sitter … thank you sooo much .. Carter really enjoyed himself thanks for the videos and the update I hope he wasn’t a huge bother but I seen him having a great time and experience for his first time with you and your family.I rebooked two more times this month.”

“Jeslyn was so sweet! She arrived at the car with treats to pick up my pup, and kept her comfortable and was well taken care of. Great communicator, I received plenty of pictures throughout her stay. Will definitely book again!”

“Juliana was amazing with my 5mth old mini doxie puppy. Every thing is new to him, and I was nervous about leaving him for the wkd. She has the perfect home & yard and made him so comfortable, that I picked up a calm and happy puppy. I will absolutely take him back to stay with her.”

“Michell was awesome and our dog had SUCH a nice time! We got photos and a little message every day letting us know how he was doing. We will definitely book again. He was living his best life hanging around the house and yard with doggie pals and friendly folks for the same price that it would have been for a 4 x 5 ft kennel at a local vet. This was our first time using Rover. No brainer to go this route!”

“My dog doesn't like to be away from home, but Rhea makes her feel comfortable and takes excellent care of all her needs, also during the recent heat wave. Sage was happy and in great shape when I returned after a longer trip. While I was away, Rhea kept me up-to-date on how Sage was doing, which is very helpful for peace of mind. I will always ask Rhea when I need help with dog sitting. I highly recommend her.”

“Thanks so much Paloma! Chip is a giant 8 month old puppy with a lot of love to handle--I know it takes a kind, understanding person to put up with him. Thank you for taking such good care of him and going above and beyond to accommodate my travel. I had a great vacation because of you!”

“Nicole and Alexis were great with Shaggy Bob! They met in advance and also let Shaggy meet their dog Cinnamon too to make sure they were okay with each other. They sent photos and updates each day!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Prospect Park
We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! From the moment we dropped our dog off, we knew he was in great hands. She cared for him like he was one of her own, giving him so much love, attention, and care while we were away on vacation. The best part was seeing how much fun he had with her pup! They became the sweetest playmates, and it was clear he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We loved receiving updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. If you’re looking for someone who will truly treat your dog like family, look no further. We are so grateful and will absolutely book with Sarah again. Thank you for taking such amazing care of our boy!
We were truly blessed to find Paloma! They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and so accommodating, especially with our last-minute request. Their yard is a great size, giving the dogs plenty of room to run and play, and their own dog was super friendly and got along wonderfully with ours. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dog was in such a caring environment. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet lover!

Barbara was such an amazing host to our puppy Astra! She sent over plenty of pictures and a wonderful video of our pup playing with her dogs. Astra had a great time and came home absolutely exhausted which is a rare sight. Looking forward to booking with her again!

Rosie had a great time at Kevin’s house with his dog and the other pups he was boarding. She came back happy and relaxed. Kevin was very thorough when we met up, and he asked lots of questions so that I would feel safe leaving Rosie. I’m very happy with the experience and I will use Kevin again soon.

Rocky just spent 4 days with Cinthia and her adorable dog Zoey. He had the best time and was so well taken care of. Cinthia sent me pictures and texts to let me know how he was doing which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend her and I would use her again.

Rose is an AMAZING sitter. My dog Papi loves to stay with her and her son. Rose does a great job sending updates and sharing photos of my baby while I’m away. She is also flexible; there have been times I have had to go away for work on short notice and Rose is always available. She’s apart of the family now! We love Rose! Be sure to book with her! Love Ya Rose ❤️

Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
