“Patty is godsend! She will love (and slightly spoil) your dog like it’s her very own. Patty kept us up-to-date multiple times a day with messages and photos. She cared for our dog the way we would, simply an Angel. Thank you Patty and Vin for opening your home and heart to our Sully!”

“Dana is an amazing sitter! My boys love staying at her place, they have lots of fun playing in her yard. She’s sweet and I trust her with my boys care. Thanks again Dana! ✨💛”

“Ben was so great!! Took amazing care of my baby doodle and sent multiple updates. He was always available if I had questions. He was so friendly and clearly cared for my dog as if it was his own. I will definitely use again!!”

“David was wonderful with my dog Rocco. This was the second time I used David, and he will be my go to guy for any future needs. He’s also so flexible if you need to drop off or pick up at a different hour than you originally planned. Highly recommend David.”

“I have used Rover for several years and have had some really good providers. However Juliana, Cooper, and Betty Boop are amazing and my Pup felt right at home. I can honestly say I have found Bubblez new home away from home. I can now travel and not get anxiety leaving my Fur baby. Juliana is warm, caring and loved my Pup as if she were her own. Bubblez did not come home disheveled which made me feel much better. I highly recommend Juliana! ❤️”

“Alexandra and family are always wonderful to my baby boy! But this time they go above and beyond! We left for a week. And unfortunately, he ran out of food. Alexandra and family cooked him homemade food, like I did with him! Just exceptional!!!”

“Took really good care of Merlin, provided photo updates during the stay, able to accommodate a change in schedule to drop off early which we really appreciated! Thank you Lily!!”

“Carly took excellent care of my dog! She was incredibly responsive, provided frequent updates with adorable pictures, and gave him so much love and attention. He got plenty of exercise and came back happy and well cared for. I really appreciated the peace of mind while I was away. Would absolutely use her again!”

“Our black lab stayed with Mitchell for 6 days during the holiday. Michell took great care of our dog who is very energetic and sometimes a troublemaker. Michell sent us daily updates, photos, and sometimes videos. We are very happy with the care. Will be back!”

“Christine is the best ! She deserves more than 5 stars. This was my first time leaving my boy Milo. I was full of worries and anxiety as most of us feel when leaving our precious little ones. But all those feelings were gone when I met Christine. She is knowledgeable and kind with animals. She sent me many pictures and videos. Communication was great. Her love for Milo made me feel at ease. Milo loves her too ! Will definitely use her services again .”

“Elizabeth was amazing!! This was our first time leaving our girl with a dog sitter via Rover, and she made it such a pleasant stress free experience. She sent so many pictures and updates of Layla daily, it left me feeling reassured and happy knowing she was in loving hands. I would highly recommend Elizabeth to anyone!”

“Juliana was truly exceptional. I received thoughtful daily updates with pictures, which made such a difference while I was away. My dog was clearly comfortable, happy, and well looked after. Reliable, caring, and professional— I would absolutely book again.”

“Chrissy is awesome! She took care of my nine year-old Poodle mix for a week. He suffered an injury to his back a few days before, which meant giving him extra medicine and keeping him from climbing steps. She handled the situation like a pro. It was the most low-stress boarding/sitting situation we’ve experienced because of her great communication and the obvious care she showed when dealing with Sailor—especially in his tender physical state. And she sent multiple updates everyday, with photos and videos. We look forward to working with her again!”
“Chloe was a phenomenal helper for my dog! She arrived on time for the pick up and drop off, made sure my dog was happy, exercised, and entertained during her stay, and overall was awesome. Would highly recommend.”

“Andre was wonderful. Wilbur had diarrhea while we were gone and Andre took great care of him and prepared a bland diet until he was better. We were away for our son’s graduation and unable to get back. We are so grateful to the care Andre provided!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Prospect Park
Cartier accepted us last minute when our plans changed and quickly set up a meet and greet. She is excellent with communication and super fast with responding. She kept us informed throughout the time we were away with pictures and updates. We have two geriatric, special needs dogs and she handled everything they needed perfectly. We all adore her and would definitely rebook, and highly recommend her.

Wow! What an amazing experience with Paloma, Husband, and their fur baby Amigo. We went away for one week and after our plan A didn’t work out we were left scrambling for care and only had two days to find something. Paloma was so quick to respond, had open availability, and was completely accommodating to any and all of our needs. Not only did she send pictures every day of our boys, Cooper and Shiloh, not once did I feel concerned, hesitant, or rushed throughout our week on vacation. 10/10 we would highly recommend Paloma and family and will be rebooking with them in the future :)

Sarah was amazing! She was incredibly accommodating with our last minute booking and made the whole experience so easy. Our boy had the best time playing with her dog, Kobe! Sarah kept us updated throughout his stay and sent lots of pictures, which we really appreciated. He came home happy, well cared for, and completely worn out from all the playing and excitement! We would absolutely recommend Sarah and would happily book with her again.

Sam was amazing and took great care of our Jakey boy! I highly recommend him! Sent updates daily multiple times as well as lots of pictures. Jake got along with him very well and were definitely going to be booking again. Thank you Sam for taking such good care of our fur baby.

Barbara was such an amazing host to our puppy Astra! She sent over plenty of pictures and a wonderful video of our pup playing with her dogs. Astra had a great time and came home absolutely exhausted which is a rare sight. Looking forward to booking with her again!

Rosie had a great time at Kevin’s house with his dog and the other pups he was boarding. She came back happy and relaxed. Kevin was very thorough when we met up, and he asked lots of questions so that I would feel safe leaving Rosie. I’m very happy with the experience and I will use Kevin again soon.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
