About: Dogs are truly part of our family, and when your dog stays with me, they’ll be treated just like one of my own! I work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. They’ll have free access to our large, fully fenced yard and can relax, nap, or hang out wherever they’re most comfortable in the house. I have two dogs —a 1 year old Golden Retriever and a 3 year old mixed breed—so your dog will have the option to have some furry company too. We’ve had dogs of many different breeds and personalities throughout our lives, and I’m comfortable recognizing different temperaments and reading body language to help keep everyone safe, happy, and comfortable. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine and will make sure they get the same love, attention, and care they’re used to at home. And of course, I’ll send plenty of photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away! Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine since I have 2 dogs. I work from home, so the dogs have plenty of company, attention, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. I’m also happy to follow your dog’s usual feeding, walking, and sleeping schedule so they feel right at home. In my home, dogs are treated like part of the family. I truly felt she was an animal lover and understood my feelings about leaving Pearl for the first time for a long weekend. About: Hello! Dogs and cats have been part of my life since I was a child. My Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever, Marley, was the love of my life! As others have said, animals make a house a home. I hope you and your dog will consider mine a home-away-from-home. My home consists of a family of three (myself, my high school-aged son, and our kitty). I work from home so your dog will enjoy a lot of love and attention throughout the day. I have a large fenced yard and there are also parks, nearby, if walks are requested. I would consider taking more than one dog if the dogs are comfortable with one another and my cat, Moby. Moby is 6 years old and he has a catio and a finished basement to retreat to so each fur babe can have time apart. Please reach out if you have questions. I work from home so I can provide company and comfort to your pup throughout the day. I have occasional, local errands. My best times are early mornings and evenings for walks or extended play. I have a large fenced yard for fun exploration and sniffing. If your fur babe prefers their crate or bed when they're away from home, please bring it along. They can also snooze on the couch or in bed with me. I have a one-story home and your dog will have access to every room on the main floor. The finished basement will remain a cat-only space. When we meet, I'll ask you to share favorite activities that help your dog feel happy and comfortable.
