“I'm so happy we chose Abigail to watch our cat while we were away. My cat is pretty independent but still needs daily attention, and Abigail was great with her! She gave my cat space until she was ready for affection, and she followed all of my directions for food and medicine and followed up with a report and photos. Abigail took great care of my cat and helped me relax on vacation. I highly recommend Abigail and would work with her again!”

“Bradley was a great caretaker for our dogs. They quickly warmed up to him. He was reliable in showing up as scheduled and providing updates on how the dogs were doing.”

“Jessica was outstandingly patient with my extreme fear of my house and cats being looked after by a relative stranger. Even when I made my neighborhood sound scary by mistake (it just has loud, drunk college kids sometimes), she stuck it out and didn’t get upset when I threw a lot of information at her at once. I am eternally sorry for being so high strung and even more eternally grateful she had the patience and kindness of a saint. Absolutely would recommend her to others.”

“Madison is superb. She’s incredibly responsive and responsible. We were nervous about leaving our pups behind and concerned we might have trouble finding someone brave AND loving enough to care for the bully breed. Madison didn’t flinch and our dogs took to her immediately. She is professional, kind, punctual, caring, and will even send photos, which is incredibly thoughtful and reassuring. We won’t hesitate to rely on Madison in the future and highly recommend her services to others.”

About: I’ve taken care of a verity of pets and owned anything from fish, Reptiles, Rodents, Cats, and Dogs. I can also do additional tasks such as cleaning and plant care. I am versatile and can stay at the house or commute. I am also experienced at giving medications to animals as well. Feel free to ask me any questions regarding the sitting or my experience related to pet sitting. I can let sit anytime before/after classes. I’m am currently attending Liberty University and am taking classes throughout the week. Feel free to ask any questions related to the schedule. I make sure that the animals are comfortable, fed, and refreshed before resting. If I am eating at the place I’m house sitting I make sure the animals are fed before I eat (also makes it easier to avoid prying eyes watching me while I eat). Before I end the day I make sure everything is done and that the house is secure. Before the owners come back I make sure to clean and wash everything (if the owners don’t mind me doing this).
“Erica is absolutely amazing! She took care of my fur babies, Milo and Pickle Boy, and went completely above and beyond. She always arrived right on time, took them for great walks, gave them extra snuggles, and even surprised them with treats and pup cups! She is incredibly responsible and always made sure the doors were locked securely behind her. She kept me updated every single day with pictures, letting me know exactly what they ate and what they did in the yard. She even cleaned up any messes they made. Erica is the absolute perfect choice for your dogs—I will definitely be hiring her again!”

“Ariane was amazing with my boy! She gave great updates and even sent me videos of him playing which I loved!! She went slow and let my very dramatic cat do everything at his pace! I knew he was well taken care of while I was gone!”

“Emma was awesome! She made sure to communicate every time she stopped by the house to feed and check on the pets. Our cat who doesn’t always like everyone was in love with her! So you know she has good energy. This was our first time hiring a pet sitter and Emma made sure we knew our pets were doing well and were comfortable and cared for. Will definitely be rebooking in the future.”

“This is our second time using Mary-Ashlynne and she is responsible and does a good job keeping us updated with pictures and notes. She is also very understanding of the needs of our cat.”

About: I’ve grown up with four dogs, so taking care of pups is second nature to me! Over the years, I’ve handled everything from basic training to feeding schedules and making sure they feel loved and comfortable. Recently, I boarded an 8-week-old puppy for a couple of nights, and it was such a fun experience! I love staying active and going on walks, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or making sure their routine is just right, I’m all in. I’m dedicated to treating your pet like family and ensuring they feel at home while you’re away! I’m currently a graduate student at Liberty University, and all of my classes are online. I also work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of quality time with the pets in my care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, potty breaks, or simply keeping them company, I make sure every pet receives the attention, love, and consistency they deserve. I keep my calendar up to date and only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to, so you can feel confident your pet is in reliable hands. I prioritize safety and trust when caring for pets, whether at my home or my client’s. I create a comfortable, stress-free environment where your pet can feel at ease, and I’m attentive to their specific needs, from feeding routines to any special care they require. I’m also very mindful of pet safety, making sure to keep an eye on their surroundings, whether it’s during walks or in the home. In your home, I treat your space with respect, maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize stress while you’re away. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with both you and your pet, ensuring they are safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I stand out because I combine years of hands‑on pet care with formal training in progress. At home I care for a playful 9‑month‑old pup, a tiny 18‑year‑old chihuahua, plus beetles and bearded dragons—so I’m experienced with both energetic puppies and delicate seniors, as well as exotic pets. My dedication to animals has led me to pursue a future in the pet care service field. I have earned many certificates for animal care such as certification for Working with Dogs and Pet First Aid / CPR. I’m available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. -5 p.m. for dog walks, and during those hours I’m fully devoted to caring for your pets. While I balance family life with a child at home, pet care is truly part of my everyday routine—24/7 with my own animals—so giving reliable, loving attention to yours fits naturally into my schedule. I am a very “by the book” person who values safety, respect, and trust above all else. If I enter a client’s home, I make sure to only do what I am hired to do, treating both your pets and your space with the utmost care. My years of experience as a housekeeper taught me how important it is to be trustworthy and respectful of others’ belongings, and I carry those same standards into pet care. Loving animals is one of my core morals, and I would never jeopardize my family, my work, or your trust.

About: Hi! I’m a dependable and caring animal lover with experience taking care of family pets, including feeding, walking, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll always treat them with patience, attention, and love like they’re part of my own family. I have been taking care of my family's pets my entire life; we have always had dogs and lizards for as long as I can remember, and it is a team effort to take care of our family members that can't speak for themselves. I’m excited to provide reliable care and help give you peace of mind while you’re away from your furry friends! I am currently working part-time at the Lynchburg courthouse in downtown. This includes Mondays-Wednesdays from 8:30-5:00. I am a law student at Liberty, so I am constantly working on some law related project or another, but I can offer time to house sit so long as there is a wifi connection! If you are located near downtown, I am able to offer midday visits to your pet Mon-Wed for potty breaks/walks at lunch time. I have always had dogs and lizards in my life growing up. While I have never cared for an animal that is special needs, I have cared for many different types of pet-personalities. I am happy to cuddle with your pet and go out for a long walk for the high-energy movers, as well as sit back and keep my distance if your friend is a little shy. Caring for an animal, to me, means listening to what they need when they tell you the first time.
“Nicole was very friendly and communicative! My cat seemed to love her! She followed all instructions and was very easy to work with. I will definitely be booking with her again for my next trip out of town! Thank you, Nicole!!”

About: What sets me apart is that caring for dogs has always been part of my everyday life. Growing up, my parents frequently puppy-sat for multiple dogs, which taught me how to handle different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also have two dogs of my own at home, giving me firsthand experience with daily care, patience, and responsibility. In addition, I have experience with dog walking and hosting pups, so I understand how to keep dogs safe, comfortable, and happy both on walks and in a home setting. I treat every dog like they’re my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a student-athlete at Liberty, I’m very structured with my time, which makes it easy for me to plan walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins around my classes and training schedule. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy and find relaxing, so I’m happy to make it a consistent part of my day and week while still being reliable and attentive to each pet’s needs. I currently do not offer pet care in my own home since I live in an apartment complex. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am very respectful of their space and follow all instructions closely. I make sure pets stay on their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. My goal is to keep pets comfortable, safe, and stress-free while maintaining a clean and respectful environment in my clients’ homes.

Abby cared for my old boy Maverick for a couple of days. I knew immediately at our meet-n-greet that I did not need to be concerned while I was away. She did not disappoint. Prompt. Her reporting was clear and thorough. She will go far and succeed in life! Thank you Abby! Maverick & Tom

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mia was absolutely amazing! From the very first message, she was incredibly prepared and asked all the right questions to make sure she had every detail she needed. Her note taking was so thorough, from feeding schedules to little quirks and habits, nothing was missed. Communication was fantastic too. Any time I reached out, she responded quickly and kept me updated along the way. But what really stood out was how far she went above and beyond. It was clear she genuinely cared, not just checking a box, but actually making sure everything was taken care of with real attention and love. I couldn't recommend Mia more highly. If you're looking for someone reliable, detail-oriented, and who truly cares, she's the one to book!

Ariane was dependable and came every day as expected while I was gone on vacation. She sent me updates and notes on my two cats and made me feel very comfortable with her being there to take care of them. She also sent plenty of pictures! In addition, she fed my fish and watered my plant. Would recommend her! Thank you, Ariane!

Eleni was amazing for us this week! We’ve never left our three dogs for this long and ended up having a few curveballs, but she graciously handled a dog in heat and a few days of unexpected diarrhea. She went above and beyond and kept us updated every step of the way. We would absolutely use her again in a heartbeat.

Celeste is wonderful! Communicative, prompt & exactly what I was looking for. She helped with the Rover ins and outs as it's been years since I've had a dog and needed to use it. She was super accommodating to my last minute booking and sends pictures at every visit. Couldn't be happier!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
