About: What sets me apart is that caring for dogs has always been part of my everyday life. Growing up, my parents frequently puppy-sat for multiple dogs, which taught me how to handle different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I also have two dogs of my own at home, giving me firsthand experience with daily care, patience, and responsibility. In addition, I have experience with dog walking and hosting pups, so I understand how to keep dogs safe, comfortable, and happy both on walks and in a home setting. I treat every dog like they’re my own. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a student-athlete at Liberty, I’m very structured with my time, which makes it easy for me to plan walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins around my classes and training schedule. Caring for dogs is something I genuinely enjoy and find relaxing, so I’m happy to make it a consistent part of my day and week while still being reliable and attentive to each pet’s needs. I currently do not offer pet care in my own home since I live in an apartment complex. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I am very respectful of their space and follow all instructions closely. I make sure pets stay on their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care they need. This includes: * Feeding and hydration: I will follow your pet's feeding schedule and dietary needs and ensure they have fresh water at all times. * Exercise and Play: I engage in their favorite activities and walks to keep them well exercised and happy. Of course, adjusting according to their energy levels, and preferences. * Health and Hygiene: I monitor the health of your sweet pet, note any changes and immediately notify you, the owner, at the sign of any discomfort or illness. I also will attend to basic grooming such as brushing. * Companionship: Most importantly, I will provide plenty of love and attention to your furry companion! I will do my best to keep them company and ensure that they feel secure and loved as there owner is away. When a pet stays in my home, I create a warm, welcoming and safe environment for them that mimics their home life as closely as possible. My approach is as follows: * Comfort and Safety: I ensure that your pet has a designated place to relax, with cozy bedding and a secure area where they can feel at ease. * Routine Feeding, Hydration and Grooming: I will stick to the pet's regular feeding schedule and dietary requirements and their grooming routine as instructed. * Daily Activities: I will follow the pet's normal exercise and playtime amount into my daily routine - ensuring both mental and physical stimulation to keep your pet happy! * Health Monitoring: During their stay, I will keep a close eye on their overall behavior and health and am prepared to reach out to a vet if needed. (The closest 24hr Emergency Vet being only 8 minuets from my location!) In both settings, I aim to do what is the absolute best for your pet! My goal is to provide for your four-legged friend with a caring, attentive and safe environment that meets their needs.
About: I have grown up having dogs and have had 5 dogs in my lifetime so far, I currently have 3 of my own! So far, I have had experience with taking care of a dog who takes medication, Puppies, old doggies (they are sometimes the sweetest ones 🥺❤️), medium sized dogs, larger dogs, and teeny tiny ones! Daytime House Sitting (6-8 hours) I offer daytime house sitting for pet parents who need extended care during the day. This includes staying in your home for 6-8 hours to provide full supervision, companionship, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime. Rate: $60 for 6-8 hours. Custom quotes available for longer stays. If your dog doesn’t have many toys, I bring some toys with me to ensure that your dog has a blast and to keep them from finding other objects to play with that are not toys. I also bring a spare leash and collar just in case my client does not have one.

I have been cat and dog sitting for people around my neighborhood for the past five years or so. My family and I have also been fostering mama dogs with litters of puppies as well as bottle baby puppies and kittens from the Lynchburg Humane Society for the past 4 years I am a senior in college. About: Growing up, my family had 3 dogs that we took care of. In college, I adopted a cat and have been taking care of her. I currently work full time right now however my weekends are typically freed up. I can stop by for a drop-in visit twice a day. Can make sure you pet is crated if needed and walk them as well! I love animals and think they are so special and every animal has such a unique story and deserves to be cared for in a loving way! I’m currently a full time student but most of my classes are online which allows for me to be available lots of times! The more of a heads up I get the better but I’ll make anything work if I’m free! About: I have had animals all my life and currently have the most perfect pets at home, a 100lb yellow lab named Max and two cats, Skippy and Toulouse. I am comfortable giving medication and have experience with diabetic dogs and cats. I can play with your pet, take them for walks, or just give them company while you're away. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
